Scenes that made you uncomfortable

What are some scenes from anime that legitimately made you feel dirty or uncomfortable?

Pic related is one such scene for me. The show had been raunchy up to that point, but this crossed a line that suddenly made the tone much darker and more serious, along with making me legitimately feel disgusted by a character.

Grow thicker skin, faggot.

I hit that pause button more often than I can remember when a cringe scene hits.

I know there are many fuckers here who do the same. Don't even lie.

Excuse me, Mr. brooding badass, most people feel empathy towards other individuals, be they real or fictional, which is the main basis for transferring information to a viewer through a visual medium.
No, I dont, I FFWD

Bur it was a good scene. Fapped on it.

The molesting parts in Bakemonogatari

Are you from tumblr?

I'm going to choose to interpret this as "scenes that gave you a boner"

Tell me more about the way you see your mother, user.

Like a fat and ugly cow.

Fuck off with your psychomemes, Freud. Some people want to see other people's moms getting railed exactly because their own moms look like

Believe it or not you do not have to be from tumblr to feel repulsed by scenes of parents sexually molesting their children, fictional or not. I am not advocating for the removal of such scenes, I am actually saying that they were effective sine I cared about the characters involved.

Watching incest in anime doesn't mean people wanna fuck their respective relative.

Basically this. The further your mother is from ideal the easier to find other mothers appealing. Its like a rejection complex.

>having children for the sole purpose of molesting them

greatest thing in life

>Basically this. The further your mother is from ideal the easier to find other mothers appealing. Its like a rejection complex.
But you still see this "better", closer to the ideal surrogate mother as an object of sexual desire. Curious.

Right now I'm here to forget about the scene in kizumonogatari when glassed girl discovers MCs porn.

You senile piece of shit. I fap to mothers getting fucked by their sons/daughters because I'll fap to anything that isn't vanillashit. The fact that I can't parttake in those fantasies IRL or whatever is irrelevant here, otherwise you could apply that train of logic to literally anything.

>When you'er at the point where you need to read a post three times because you consider mother/son incest to be vanilla
help

>raunchy
>casualfag meme anime
>being offended by bath skinship and/or fanservice
>raunchy
So in short, you're saying OP is a faggot. Who would've thought?

As for the question. WataMote legit gave me flashbacks while making me physically cringe, it's like autism PTSD or something.

>it's like autism PTSD or something
Considering the first part of your post, I can believe that.

More anime mothers should molest their daughters.

but user-sama its 2017 the year of muh feelings matter, dipshits cant grow thinker skin because that's toxic masculinity i started to fucking hate people who cant handle "scary' or "uncomfortable" anime/movies its fucking retarded

again grow thinker skin faggot, thats besides the point you can still feel empathy for their problems but its fucking stupid if it makes you uncomfortable.

Is this the birth of an epic new meme?

Well, yeah, where did you think you were? At least I didn't use the word "raunchy" like some normalfag, these cancerous newfags never cease to amaze me. To be offended by something as vanilla as this, it had to be his fourth anime or something.

yes, it faggots like OP & who cant handle their feelings getting attacked

Mother daughter yuri is the purest form of love.

yeah WaataMote hits too close to home sometimes it reminded me of a few people from back in my school days and sometimes about myself.

There is a difference between wanting to remove themes from media and feeling things based on what a piece of media presents to you. Nowhere was it stated that this scene should have been delet. Just that it caused discomfort, which is not something negative necessarily- it means that the piece of media managed to emotionally engage the audience.

If you feel empathy towards a character in an extremely vulnerable and uncomfortable position or situation you also feel a sense of unease and discomfort. This is what the word means. If you think saying your feelings never get influenced by media or whatever makes you sound tough and edgy that's on you, I find it to be part of the enjoyment entertainment can offer. There is no need to sperg out the moment emotions are mentioned. I consume media with far more jarring themes than the scene in question, much like anyone here, that does not mean that in this particular case I did not think the presentation was particularly effective.

What a little fucking bitch .

Right? It doesn't stop Tomoko from being a first-rate waifu though.

...

What about naked MILF in space?

Source? Reverse search didn't help much.

> I consume media with far more jarring themes than the scene in question

if you do then why the fuck does this scene make you uncomfortable? or are you just blowing shit out of your ass?

*ahem*
youtube.com/watch?v=egX8pRo1sNE

wow
like
wow that's deep
damn
really makes you think huh
Such a deep show
wow...............

The sex scene in Utena ep 33 and the final episode of school days but only because i was like 11 years old, that shit is cringeworthy at best now

Because of the presentation of these characters up to that point. I don't have the time to write an essay on KlK but it was not the circumstance alone that caused discomfort, but who the persons engaged in it were and what they represented in the broader context of the show's themes.

Every slow loli panning shot in eromanga sensei aka half the show.

...

This scenes legitimately made me feel dirty and uncomfortable because it finally made me realize that I was watching an irredeemably shitty series.

How did she breastfeed her daughters?

Formula

This explains why both of them are retarded in some regard.

>made you feel dirty or uncomfortable

Are we now talking about seriously upsetting stuff or "oh no, I'm twelve and cartoon tits go against my christian indoctrination!"

I guess "sad" counts as uncomfortable.

The point is that this scene didn't represent anything in the context of the show or its "themes". You are not expected to take it seriously. It's just a piece of cheap garbage. The correct response to this would be to be mad at the creators for cheating you into watching it shit, not seriously engaging in it.

>my christian indoctrination
Reminder: this is a blue christian board. Also, *tips fedora*.

>tips the tip of the dick

>he didnt catch who Satsuki and Ragyo are supposed to be based on their interactions and themes
The show tells you where to look from the first lines in the first scene.

Listening to a suicide note is pretty torturous.

If thinking so makes you feel better.

>One raised to be an authoritarian cog in the alien genocide machine by a megalomaniac narcissistic incestuous rapist.
>One wasn't raised at all and had to figure everything out on her own after being thrown to the school system to keep her away from Kamui research by a paranoid (even if legitimate reason) absentee father.
Don't think formula has anything to do with their deficiencies in different areas. It has everything to do with both of their parents simply being horrible parents.

Is this the scene [as] director Demarco bitched about it on twitter because it made him felt uncomfortable.

>piece of media makes you feel something
>bitch about it
For what purpose?

also
>director Demarco
Who?

>Tell me more about the way you see your mother, user.
I would find her hot if she was a hot 2d mom or likable if she was a nice 2d mom

Any scene featuring kids getting abused makes me feel sad and angry. Only exemple coming to mind is Koe no Katachi. Legit wanted to kill the teacher and some of the kids

>who Satsuki and Ragyo are supposed to be based on their interactions and themes
Please explain

>Please explain
Its about Japanese history from the Sengoku period to modern day (with WWII being a major stopping point along the way) with heavy Shinto influences and topped off by Lovecraft.

What ?

I will make it easier for you on one front so you can start building from somewhere. For Satsuki look for Mori Arinor and his school reforms and listen to the topic of Mikisugi's lecture in the first episode. Then listen to her theme and think about who and what she is a representation of. The same can be done for all major characters, but the relationship between her and her mother is a particularly curious one on that front. Small hint for her mother - neither her expansionist tendencies nor her song being in German/phrass of her speech in French are coincidental.

>westaboo who wanted nips to breed with westerners to better his race
>the rise of nazism
>a military march ?
>imperial Japan ?
So Ragyou is Hitler ? Doesn't make any sense. Imperial Japan never betrayed Hitler, and Hitler fucking hated France.
Instead of acting like a pseudo-intellectual bearing a secret truth, you should really try to defend your thesis here, because so far it sounds fucking retarded.
And it'd better not be another retarded "anime is an apology of Imperial Japan" bullshit

...

It does not follow world history to a T, obviously, but even then this is not exactly right. Ragyou is not Hitler in particular, rather the expansionist West which seeks to dominate everything with its culture. It is what gave birth to the philosophy of Mori's academy, but simultaneously what after that condemned it and subjugated Japan.Furthermore, her usage of European languages as well as her representation as a greedy, success and power-driven person are characteristic of Anime's portrayal of westerners. This is all just one of the themes the anime touches either way, the whole arc with the threads is basically a Lovecraft cosmic horror story.

I am not saying this is the second coming of storytelling or anything, just pointing out that what occurs is not random and that the topics from which the anime draws inspiration are intriguing. Hiroyuki Imaishi generally does that sort of thing so its not surprising that they are there. I do not intend to write an exposition on the topic either, you can find plenty of that online.

I'm an even more thin skinned faggot than OP. The moment I see fanservice in anime I will put that series down and delete it off my PC. It takes about 90% of all anime off the table for me, but I refuse to watch even the slightest bit of fanservice, it makes me physically sick.

The real reason is that I have PTSD from being repeatedly molested and raped as a child by a pedo who loved fanservicey anime and would get me to watch it with him

I have zero problems watching hentai though for some strange reason.

Underrated

Which was your favourite fanservice show as a kid, user?

Elfen Lied

How much of all of that is confirmed by the creators and how much is you projecting your interpretations onto a shitty anime?

The names of battles and locations within the series so overly shows that this is the intent of the creators that it would be like watching a western show in which the Scarlet Brigate marches into Burrlinn and asking "What did they mean by this?".

>"What did they mean by this?"
I would ask this question because I have no fucking idea what the fuck you're talking about

user, please.

No seriously, I googled it and it seems like it's an american parade or some shit, but I'm not sure

Try watching animes that have fanservice with him again, maybe it works.

I was just making fun of minute changes in names of things, user!

The fact Ragyo has absolutely nothing in common with my mom made this scene very fappable.

You're not helping me making me not confused

Normalfag

That didn't make me uncomfortable. That gave me a boner.

the red army marching in Berlin

Not that user, but
>that pic
mayonegg

Holy shit, I'm fucking retarded

well there was that one time i was watching anime with my 14-year-old nephew, and suddenly a lesbian bathroom rape scene I had forgotten about

awkward

>implying the young fucker wasn't happy about it

I want to watch some anime with younger family members, but its really hard to choose one which will not have awkward moments in it unless you only watch moeblob shit. Last time I went for Redditsuba since its wide-spread appeal and ebin XD memes made me think it would be fairly safe, but by episode 3 I regretted my decision.

Oh they probably would enjoy that shit, but its just awkward when other family members are around and you are watching obvious fetishbait.

Thank you, I can never see that image without remembering that meme again.
Its okay, user, at least I saved some reaction images.

To come back on topic, would Incest between the sisters have been too much ?

My dick would probably explode if it happened, so maybe.

What about cute innuendos ? Like a tad too long stares and such

>would Incest between the sisters have been too much ?
Romance was not the point of the story the show wanted to convey so yes. The creators deliberately said no ships are canon.

I've spent the last 15 minutes thinking about this, and I've come to the conclusion that I have never been made uncomfortable by a scene before.

I have watched things I disliked. But that's just dislike because it didn't suit my taste. It wasn't something that made me physically uncomfortable or something I found mentally disturbing. There have been scenes that broke my suspension of disbelief by being really bad, but that's just incompetence. I'm not disturbed, just disappointed. I've thought of the best and worst scenes I can remember from anything, yet none seems to having much effect. In fact, the more weirder and/or fundamentally disturbing scene it is, the more I enjoyed that. Mostly because often times, it's something different and new. Something nice.

>average yurishipper IQ revealed

Maybe not romance then, just horny, angry sexual tension and groping between the heroins

So let's say, a scene where a kid gets molested by a disgusting adult he trusted wouldn't make you uncomfortable. I'm not talking about OP' exemple, I'm being hypothetic

I wish we got to see Ryuuko get purified

That would have cheapened the effect and message the molestation scenes were trying to convey. Most of the fanservice in this anime served specific services and gave across specific messages. With Satsuki (since this is the character in your image) it was her willpower to subjugate her own shame and declare the ownership of her own body, for example.

Since duality and contradiction are major pillars of the show's narrative, her counterpart, Ryuuko, originally felt shame and allowed others to "own" her by making her feel uncomfortable because of her garments, and it was this period in the anime when the most fanservicy shots (such as pic related) were used.

True true, but I'm just saying that maybe, just maybe, an unknowing blooming love between the two protagonists could have been nice

But it did. Makoto invited Ryuuko on a date

>mako
