honest question:
i saw fma (2003) which i really liked (i was pretty young ta the time) i remember it made me feel sad for the characters.
when i watched fma brotherhood every battle felt empty to me, i wasn't angry, sad or happy, i think maybe it was because the anime was so fast?
does the manga transmit better the feelings of the characters? did you felt sad, hyped for battles and stuff?
i'm not criticizing fma brotherhood it just didn't resonate with me.
i think having to fight your own mom, the sin you created gave fma 2003 a big emotional impact.
