Jared Taylor and American Renaissance have filed a lawsuit against Twitter in California. If successful, the legal precedent established could end Silicon Valley censorship once and for all.

We all have a stake in the outcome of this case. Help spread the word.

Let's assume he wins.
How will this be policed?

What is there to stop twitter from doing the same shit it's doing right now? they can just make up some BS excuse why an account was banned to wiggle out of it.

The average user would likely have to hire a lawyer to reverse twitter's ban, because they don't give a fuck.

In my cursory understanding...

One of the legal arguments Taylor's case advances is that the California supreme court has upheld the right of individuals to engage in political speech privately owned areas that act as a public forum, akin to the classical Greek agora.

Since Twitter was founded as a public forum, if that argument is upheld, YouTube, Google, and Facebook will be barred from prohibiting political on their platform, solely on the grounds that they dislike it, or that it violates their TOS.

breitbart.com/tech/2018/01/12/twitter-leaker-hollywood-celebs-hate-speech-violence/

>the company rapidly abandoned its commitment to free speech after former CEO Dick Costolo was replaced by Jack Dorsey, who the source described as “the definition of a social justice warrior.”

>The majority of Twitter’s management, says the source, believes the leftist idea that “hate speech is violence.”

>Twitter employees are divided into three distinct groups, says the source. Hardline leftists like Dorsey and others, and “ACLU-type” liberals who “still believe in free speech.” Lastly, there are workers who join the company on H1B visas, who the source says are “apolitical.”

>According to a second source, the company openly celebrates when right-wing figures are banned from the platform. “There was a great deal of celebration [at Twitter] when Milo was banned,” says the source.

>When the source worked for Twitter, he says employees snarkily estimated the backlash over banning someone controversial in “units of Milo,” which referred to an individual’s number of followers, their media reach, and their ability to respond to a ban with negative headlines and backlash from members of the public. “It’s like, ‘He’s two Milos, so we can’t ban him!’ or ‘He’s half a Milo, so we can!”

>According to the source, Twitter is almost entirely dependent on the goodwill of celebrities and public figures, who are seen as the number-one factor drawing users onto their platform. Getting re-tweeted by a celebrity is seen by Twitter as “the modern autograph.”

>From a business standpoint, celebrities drive sign-ups, and the site therefore “bends over backwards to please them.”

If Taylor prevails in the case, that could be a game changer and the biggest win for free speech in the last thirty years.

should we start a secret amren twitter account?

>A third source has also come forward to shed light on Twitter’s culture of snowflake identity politics, which bears a strong resemblance to the culture of other big tech companies.

>In August, we reported that Google keeps tampons in their men’s restrooms as a matter of policy, because “some men menstruate.” More recently, James Damore’s lawsuit against Google revealed that the company allowed someone who “identifies” as a “yellow-scaled wingless dragonkin” give a presentation on “living as a plural being.”

>Once confined to the crazyhouses of Tumblr and college campuses, the bizarre culture of left-wing millennial identity politics can now be found at the most powerful tech companies in the world.

>Twitter is no different. Like Google, they also put tampons in the men’s room, although in Twitter’s case it was just during gay pride week. During the same week, they temporarily replaced the men’s room sign with a “gender confusion” sign.

>Also similarly to Google, where sources familiar with the matter say senior executives were reportedly “on the verge of tears” after the election of Donald Trump, the source describes scenes of shock and despair at Twitter after election night.

>“People were huddling up in groups and crying. SJW ‘ally’ men were white knighting to comfort the women, and management sent out a memo saying that if anyone was too distraught to be productive at the office, they should take the day off.”

>According to the source, there is also ceaseless agitation from employees to ban President Trump from the platform, but management has thus far ignored it. This corroborates the strong anti-Trump sentiment at the company acknowledged by Twitter employee Clay Haynes, who confessed to an undercover Project Veritas journalist that he and others at Twitter wanted to “get rid” of Trump.

Important Cases:

>Government can stop private businesses from censoring on their property if it's considered a public forum

Twitter Headquarters 1355 Market St. Ste. 900 San Francisco, CA 94103
Twitter is a publicly traded company.
They are in Cali so the private property ruling from the Prunyard Shopping Center v. Robins case applies.

Packingham v. NC:
supremecourt.gov/opinions/16pdf/15-1194_08l1.pdf
>Social media websites are now considered public forums by the Supreme Court

Twitter can be legally sued with a high probability of success in a class action lawsuit. Google, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube and almost every social media site has been getting censored more and more. Twitter (and Jewtube before that) went after Jared Taylor first in that big wave of bans even though he's mild-mannered and always measured. At this point they're blatantly stamping down on political dissidents, even the reasonable and less offensive ones. They won't stop until all that's left is kosher opposition Fox News personalities.

>How will this be policed?

Fear of further lawsuits

Jared is such a CIA ZOG shill that he gets his videos censored on Youtube, gets banned from Twitter, and smeared by the SPLC and ADL.

Clearly the problem is that he once said not all Jews are bad, not social media censorship or the fact even his inoffensive huwhite advocacy is considered controversial & worthy of suppression.

Take your meds Moarpheus.

Always this private and public conflict in USA. Facts are USA doesn't even have public ownership, Americans are just renting from government or private business and call it public ownership. But in reality if you were a public owner you would vote for laws and decisions in public space, but Americans don't do that. Americans do another stupid thing, they vote for political party and rent yet again, this time political party, who governs over private or public land and people decide only when they contribute directly into government or private company(for example bank), like billionaires do. And now Americans get screwed by their own system of capitalism. The guy of course can win, since now Donald Trump is in government, but we will see who's money courts prefer more, that from American Renaissance or Twitter. I do see one clear violation, changing contract, but that depends again if Twitter asked the guy to confirm new contract, if they didn't then bad luck for Twitter.

twetter is ciazog a saudi company

>Jared is such a CIA ZOG shill that he gets his videos censored on Youtube
t. Millenial leaf faggot with no prespective outside of his little cellphone world.

Taylor has been on talk shows shilling his failed fake CIA-ZOG white rights bullshit since the 1980s. Fuck his creepy femm pseudo-intellectual bullshit and fuck his Jewish wife.

Well first of all twitter gets publicly purged
Then Jared gets his account back and some money and free publicity
2nd revolution incoming guys

>Jewish wife
LIAR.

Kevin MacDonald also went on talk shows around that time. Lots of people did. Are you gonna claim he's CIA ZOG too?

>femm
wut

>Jewish wife.
He doesn't have one.

Thanks for the bump though.
