this new version of suguwa makes my dick hard

>fatter thighs
>skindentation
Wew.

Why would it need a remake to begin with?

Where did her nose go?

I'd like an excuse to read it again. Also Suguwa is even hotter here imo.

Best ass

Left is better.

Japanese don't need such trivial things.

Grorious nippon banzai!

Was there really news of a full remake, or is this just "hey I felt like redrawing this" and then forgot about it after he got a job with Shonen Jump?

I can't deal with a Kurosawa remake, I would be fucking mad again because of that NTR shit. I barely recovered from the stroke I had last time.

It doesn't matter anyway because best girl won in the end.

What NTR? He was never on her radar, he just assumed her acting nice to him meant she wanted his dick. In the end he got a better girl, so what's the problem?
Would you want to date a girl willing to call you Kyon-kun? Because I'd rather kill myself. Afro was the kind of 2000's otaku we no longer want to associate with.

Why does she look like a Medaka box character?

Afro was a nice guy and everyone loved him because of that. Far less autistic than 90% of Sup Forums you included

It's horrible, old design is way better. Now she looks more like a rich pretty girl instead of a delinquent type.

She grew eyelashes.

>NTR
The fuck are you on about? I never understood the NTR meme. Not that it matters because in the end he got best girl anyway.

the legs don't make anatomical sense in either.

C-cute

Please tell me there's more like this

Legs aren't his forte

The best episode of Aeon Flux

This is the other one

Meh, original looks better and that's probably the reason why it was dropped. If anything, I wish it was just redrawn in the same style with more screentones and details, and would be finally printed. Those scans were bad and small even then.

Now I want to see adult Kurosawa dealing with adult things like managing his sex life, financial crisis and trying to cope with his teenage years while listening Wagner in the late of night.

This guy got worse in drawing faces.

I just remembered about Kitahara, I used to think they should have been together but now I just want her to be happy with someone who will make her happy.

>marrying cute delinquent from high school
Living the dream.

It's funny, the whole "This is my girlfriend" thing never bothered me because from the start I thought Sugawa was the better girl.

I just didn't think she actually had an actual chance, much less that she would actually win in the end.

I'm a bit taken aback by the fact that no one in this thread seems to realize this isn't even Sugawa, it's that idol type tertiary character, Kyoko I think.

I was thinking that myself, she's the one that Kurosawa initially thought was hot but despised when she was joining in on the bullying. Sugawa looks completely different.

Oh, that makes sense.

Itself, the original run had a lot of charm, though I would like to see something like

what the fuck is this
why did noone tell me this was happening

BROccoli deserved her

The fact that Broccoli and Takigawa did absolutely nothing wrong is what makes the pain harder

Why cant you be happy for them ? Kurosawa accepted that

Sounds like you didn't learn shit from the manga.

Best girl.

I'm glad I lived 10 years to see this.

I didn't even realize he did Sesuji wo Pin, his art style sure has changed.

Looks like the mangaka took off for a year to improve on there drawing skills.

those tits, goddamn

Well she is the second bustiest.

He really hit the jackpot.

You mean the new kurosawa?its been out for a while

Never happened. Is it good?

its ok but it kind of ruins the ending of the first series

>Yggdrasil?
Holy shit that got me.

Exactly.

The "weird girl" doesn't usually get the end in anime. She teaches the protag a valuable life lesson.

Happened in my life too

I'd let you teach me a valuable life lesson. And then I'd fuck the shit out of you.

So basically Kurosawa was Nidhoggr.
Pottery.

I'm not the weird girl. But you probably don't care, user-kun.

>tfw no sugawa

If we did get a remake, are there any changes to the story you'd want?

I wouldn't want anything changed, but I'd like more of what happened after. More of Kurosawa and Sugawa together as a couple and continuing on up to and past their marriage as shown in Basically keep what's already there but expand on it and make it just the beginning.

The story is pretty much perfect. Something I thought to myself some time after reading OMK was that regarding the point of the story, it might've been better if we didn't see him hitting it off with Sugawa. OMK perfectly portrays what happens to a lot of guys when they fall in love with someone and then start to obsess over them. A girl acting nice to you doesn't mean she wants your cock and getting angry at her for that just makes you a pathetic piece of shit.
Western movies tend to portray the exact opposite. Loser guy falls in love with a girl way out of his league, who has a douchey football player boyfriend. Loser guy is really nice to her and is actually so much better than her douche boyfriend that eventually he gets the girl.
The thing is obsessing over a girl just because she's nice to you is just not healthy and will at best lead to a really terrible relationship, but mostly just with you masturbating by yourself.
This is what leads to the real life equivalent of fedora tippers who try to swoon m'ladies, since they hope constantly circling a girl and being "nice" will eventually get them the girl of their dreams and they will finally find happiness. However your happiness doesn't lie with someone else. If you're a piece of shit, being with a girl will only end in a piece of shit relationship.
OMK essentially portrayed that. Kurosawa realized his own mistakes and tried to own up to them. He tried to change and become a human decent being. Getting Sugawa was just a bonus to him being an already cool dude at that point. The reason he got with Sugawa was because he was fine with himself already.

This ending is much sweeter and story telling wise probably a lot better than just ending with him alone, but still happy, but I feel like a lot of people are missing the point. It's not about the girl but about himself.

Meant to reply to

I don't like the idea of an epilogue where they get married and shit.
In the ending of the original manga, it was made pretty clear that their relationship was not going to last, and that was kind of the point.
Our hero, who used to have fantastical dreams about romance and sex, finally comes to a more realistic viewpoint: "I want to give this relationship a try even though it's not ideal, even though it's not going to last, even though she's not The One."
To then have them live happily ever after would be ridiculous.

>brainlet
>best girl

Stop projecting.

>brainlet
I like this neologism user

...

Same. Not offing yourself has its merits.

>projecting
What are you going on about?
Look, here's one of the pages from the last chapter I was thinking of. Maybe it's phrased a bit more optimistically then I remembered, but I think my point stands.
Kurosawa decided to give it it his all without ever expecting a fairy-tale ending or worrying about the long-term.

iirc, there's a short story set after the manga and before that omake that shows them dealing with and overcoming their problems. Also, unless I'm misremembering Brocolli and the other girl break up.

You're misremembering.

didn't the Onani master artist do the art for that manga with the battle between the 2 sides at a school, and the MC has the power to turn guys into girls, so he's recruited because the other side has a girl with the power to make boys testicles explode?

I miss Medaka Box, glad I bought all my translated volumes from Spain and have a complete non-rune collection

hm, alright then. I do remember that they had a big fight though in the after story, just don't remember what happened. I know Takigawa said something to Sugawa that brought her and Kurosawa closer though.

Good end.

>brainletphobia
Just what I'd expect out of an Sup Forumsnon.

I never understood why people always got so triggered by that scene. He didn't even make a move on her

Shit what happened to Yuki? I remember she was pretty deep into the whole Hikkimori life

Smoothest MC ever?

I always thought the underlying theme of the series was kinda hampered by the fact that Kurosawa really did get off lightly for what he did.

Dude should have gotten transferred outta the school and gotten a psychiatric assessment at a minimum.

Yeah. I don't think we were even shown his parents' reaction.

I think his pariah status is what the real punishment was

And its both wholely inappropriate and not severe enough.

Dude should have been removed from the school for the sake of his victims and put him somewhere he'd no longer be at risk of re-offending and could receive help for his issue - like an all boys school. He also should have had his access to porn (internet, stores, etc.) cut off by his parents untill a psychologist could see him and determine if it exacerbated the risk of him doing it again or getting worse, while also probably being grounded until such a time they were sure he wasn't doing it to random women outside his school as well. Not to mention financial damages for the clothes or the police report.

Just letting his schoolmates bully him was a fucking awful and incredibly unrealistic solution that only worked because the mangaka decided it would. We don't even know how his parents reacted.

I think they didn't do any kind of stuff like that because MC admit his own wrongdoing by his own will.

While it is unrealistic, from a narrative standpoint what there is now a more elegant solution. In a character drama it makes sense to incorporate all characters in every facet of the plot, which includes the third act-lowest point. The driving force of the story is rooted in the master's interactions with established peers, so the classroom environment is integral. Removing the master from the rest of the cast would drastically change the story and not necessarily in a good way.

>his victims
getting your flute jizzed on is not equal to getting raped

Actually, technically, purposefully getting bodily fluids onto someone else can be construed by law to be attempted voluntary manslaughter.

His artstyle really has changed so much

>Dude should have been removed from the school for the sake of his victims and put him somewhere he'd no longer be at risk of re-offending and could receive help for his issue - like an all boys school.
Now that's just wholly inappropriate.

It's still a sex crime in many countries due to the use of jizz, albeit a minor one unless they can prove beyond reasonable doubt he intended for someone to put it in their mouth.

And in any case they're still victims even if its not rape.

How? Removing him from the school for the sake of other students and putting him in one where there's no girls for him to target is the bear minimum of what should have been done.

source?

First, that's not Sugawa, that's Naito something-or-other.
Second, Yokota never began a full redraw of Kurosawa. He just went back and redrew scenes/pages here and there.

The old design is much better.
Don't make the delincuent girl a pretty bitch.

But is it really a sex crime when he's 14?

But that's a redraw of the pretty bitch, not the delinquent girl.

That's Naitou, and she's suppose to be a pretty bitch.

Oh, shit, you are right. I thought she was the endgame girl.
Still like more the left one. Looks a little too shojo for that manga.

why does this guy keep making sports series that don't get popular with the kids? I want to read shudan but no scan group is bothering with it.

I like Shuudan so far, but it's not worth picking up. And most groups don't care about soccer it seems.

I honestly want Yokota to do a manga about relationships because that's his forte. His art is too cute/generic for the fujoshi crowd to latch on. Also, girls.

yeah, enjo kosai archetypes usually don't win

I hope these two cameo in Shuudan before it gets axed.

>I honestly want Yokota to do a manga about relationships because that's his forte
OMK was a web novel written by Ise Katsura and Molester Man was based on 2ch posts. He didn't write either of them.

Girl in the OP is the enjo kosai archetype in OMK, Sugawa is the pure delinquent

>Sugawa
>enjo kosai archetype

I know, but his art really shone with that kind of narrative instead of a sports-focused story. Also he can do a perfectly good relationships story himself, look at Koganeiro.
