Even when I was growing up, musicians (both obscure and famous) and celebrities had an air of mystery and fascination around them. They were seen as interesting people with interesting things to say, maybe they had some unique life experiences which gave them a different perspective. They were able to connect with people through film/music, some of them had albums that almost seemed larger than life.
Now in a post-2016 era, it seems like the age of the celebrity is over. Instead we have our own e-celebs for our echo chambers. We have people like Jared Taylor and others to represent our views and entertain us.
But beyond that, film/music/art is simply not that exciting at the moment. Is there anyone who compares to Alfred Hitchock who is alive today? No. We have nothing but Jewish puppets acting like complete cringe-lords ranting about DRUMPF.
It's an incredible paradigm shift. Celebrities have been worshipped almost as royalty or gods for the last 70 years. They have influenced people's lives and their perceptions of reality for so long.
But in nearly less than a year, it all fell apart. They all took ridiculous political positions against Trump and they ruined their own image. They look tacky now, there is no mystery behind any of these people anymore. They're boring old-hat jokes. At this point I am glad that I am not a celebrity, it's better to be an obscure unknown nobody who can just go to work and come home and not be in the public eye, because celebrity status has been reduced from a god to an absolute clown.
No. No one cares and people like you who give a shit about “celebrities” (good goy!) will be bred out and replaced by those who want to build a life for themselves and their families. >get gassed kike SAGE

everyone's a celeb now with insta most try to monetize by becoming 'influencers' to deliver product placement for spas or clothing brands
Ethan Jackson
Yeah but those aren't real celebs.
The old celebrities were seen as gods. Producing monumental films that blew people's minds and influenced their entire lives.
Instagram celebrities are just some girl with a big ass or a guy with a cool travel blog or something, they aren't really influencing much of anything in comparison to old Hollywood actors or musicians.
William Roberts
Taylor Swift is one of the few young globally-popular celebrities to come up on top, apparently. Most celebrities her age group, a generation younger, or a little older, have embraced politics more than I have noticed celebrities doing, within the last few years, and especially since 2015, in time for the election season, as though they thought they had the left wing victory in the bag. They lost, and they need to be humbled; how about stop showing up to their movies? Modern cinema in America is almost devoid of creativity, with some exceptions.
Luke Ramirez
People in the Middle Ages and in Antiquity knew that actors and whatnot were scum and should be treated more or less the same as prostitutes. It's good if people are coming back to that understanding of them

I haven't seen a legitimately good movie in a movie theater since I was maybe in high school. Maybe never come to think of it, but I've only gone to the theater a few times in the last 5 years.
There aren't any cultural icon film like Fight Club coming out, with actors like Brat Pitt putting on legendary performances anymore. We don't have any modern-day equivelants to fight club, hollywood would never even produce something like that today.
I have seen a few indie movies that I really liked. I recently watched this film "Super Dark Times" which I enjoyed quite a bit, but I'll probably forget about it by next year.
Brayden Morris
There is literally nothing in todays world as artistically satisfying as a 1950's Variety Act. Young people today will never experience the satisfaction of watching a black and white tv broadcast of Sammy Davis Jr. sprinkling a handful of sand on the stage and doing a softshoe while miming to a tape of a Novelty Tune.
Nathan Scott
Ideologies and identity politics have taken the stage in Hollywood and highly funded serieses, as well as other popular culture. It's pretty much ruined being a manchild for me in recent years, so I guess it's not all bad, I don't even remember last time I got fired up about a new film, series, band or even a game.
Mainstream film has become an absolute parody of itself
Could you imagine the film industry hyping something like BLACK PANTHER back in the 90's as being some sort of brilliant work of art? It's a fucking capeshit movie. The cinematic equivelant of a clickbait buzzfeed article.
This just shows me how desperate they are. They can't turn profit on anything except capeshit movies now, so they decided they would fuse race politics with capeshit and then colude with jouranlists to hype it for maximum profit, and to revive some interest in Hollyjew.
There's still some entertaining indie films coming out, I even just watched one that bashed femininsm. But y'know, you typically watch an indie movie and say "hey that was pretty good" and then forget you even saw it 48 hours later.
It's an amazing experience really. What is going through people's minds now that the age of the celebrity is over? Boomer's entire perception of reality was shaped by sitcoms, shows, news specials, and movies. I mean that completley unironically too.
Anthony Myers
>I don't even remember last time I got fired up about a new film, series, band or even a game.
I'm a professional classical musician but i used to play guitar in a touring metal band.
I have completely lost interest in all of my favorite bands. Even underground ones. They all made statements about DRUMPF in 2016 and then released absolutely shit-tier albums after that.
Also, music has gotten worse. I'll go digging around for hidden gem albums released between 2002-2008, and i find all kinds of awesome shit. The quality of music was much better even 10 years ago, for whatever reason.
I don't even get what people listen to anymore. Fucking mixtapes of lo-fi instrumental compilations and weird electronic artists who will be forgotten in 6 months? Weird times musically.
Although, I am seeing a slight revival and interest in classical music. Social media seems to actually be feeding that interesting enough.

Fight club has become cliche because it was a good movie.
It: >criticized being a good goy >criticizing having a nihilistic consumerist life >criticized feminism >criticized the feminization of society
Obviously there’s some basic-bitch2edgy stuff in there, but it’s legendary for a reason.

Boomers think they are the main character of their own movie
They were the first socially engineered generation. They are a literal Jewish experiment
I was passing by a music venue the other day and I walked in for a minute. They were having a fundraiser, and there was a shitty local rock band playing.
The entire audience was boomers. Well-dressed boomers. They were all sitting and watching with their mouths hanging open like it was a religious experience. Some absolute faggot in a fedora playing rock licks was just mesmerizing a bunch of retarded boomers.

>Is the age of the celebrity over? I wish it was but i fear not, what's worse is now there is no requirement for talent to become one and lead a focus for high aspiration among followers, now with modern tech and demise of civility instagramming taking a shit on a dogs head can reward you with celebrity and thus become the idol to aspire to. It all went south when we began having celebrities like jade goody, venerated for her stupidity.

Is there actually an underlying social commentary that both sides of the political spectrum can appreciate or is it as race-baity and kill whitey as Sup Forums would have you believe?

I’m not into film really but I like all of Alfred hitchcock’s stuff and other movies in that era
Some indie movies released today are good, a guy from my city just released an indie film. A psychological thriller mystery type of thing filmed near my rural hometown, but it was actually tastefully done, I liked it
Alexander Nguyen
Not sure if you’re joking but I do think there is an emptiness left behind inside of normie’s retarded brains now that hollyjew is collapsing
Dylan Reyes
Nah not really
Internet stars don’t have the same god-like glamour and prestige that hollyjew celebrities and rockstars had/have
Look at pewdiepie. One of the most famous people on the internet. Just seems like a regular guy. The type of guy you might know in real life or something.
The celebrities of yesterday never presented themselves like that. They tried to keep an air of mystery around themselves, especially the musicians. Sometimes they would rarely do interviews and then come out as occultists or some shit
Today nobody gives a fuck what stupid shit musicians are doing. Music sucks, it’s boring. It challenged nothing, it’s just background noise.
Cooper Martinez
What can we fill that emptiness with? Maybe we can find the best talent of the Jewish alt-right and make a new Hollywood out of them. As directors obviously, not actors.
Hudson Fisher

its fukn depressing knowing that we will never see movies like Apocalypse Now in our gennerationns. Its one of the few things i like about HollyJews back then. This generation of kikes cant even make good movies anymore, only purely race baiting and blatantly ideological subversive crap
Ethan Davis
Hollywood movies are objectively shit now. After the year 2000 or so it seems the talent and creativity in mainstream America moved to TV shows instead (although I'm not sure there are good ones running right now, but we do have some classics from the last 15 years).
Daniel Lopez
I'm in my 30s now, so if I say yes, it doesn't really mean anything. However, since I stopped consuming mass media almost a decade ago, I've noticed the same celebs from back then still get mentioned in the various publications I still read today. Far be it from me to say the industry is stagnant since it's not catering to my demographic anymore, but it appears it is heavily slowing down.
James Smith
The celebrity is democracy's surrogate royalty. People will always seek figures to look up to. Once leaders in the arts fade to obscurity, they'll start looking for a new king.

>Will there be another age of celebrites? Interesting way to say the jew has worn out it's welcome yet again

This is probably going to be very unpopular but we need to look at what black people were doing in the mid-20th century, before welfare got its claws into them. Their goal was to stop people seeing them as a retarded, obsolete underclass, so they created jazz which is technically demanding and has an immediately recognizable aesthetic. Music is incredibly stagnant right now, and there's a vacuum to be filled. Three-chord hardcore is a dead end. "Fashy" vaporwave is only a slight improvement. To become relevant: always aim for beauty, keep the messaging subtle, and practice like a man possessed.
Josiah Stewart
lol Jews are so afraid of that movie. Why is that, Schmiel?
Parker Morales
I’m a classical musician. Doing a performance in my city next week

>Will there be another age of celebrites? No. The elites decided to create idols (celebs), that they control, for the masses to worship and follow/obey. It took them decades of effort and wealth to get everyone to worship and follow/obey these false gods, and they were all destroyed these past few years. And it's not limited to Hollywood celebs. Academics and scientists have also lost favor. This is the era of ascension. Of destroying "sacred cows".
Dylan Price
Its better that they die user. There's some vids up of Hollywood 1920 era child love bullshit, starring Shirlely Temple. Biggest star of her day, being felt up. Once you've seen it, you realize its always been cabal. The whole message of Apocalypse Now is anarchy and chaos. A NWO dream world.

Except that when art reaches the point it has in modern society, it gets completely abandoned, never to be picked up again until "bad times". >Sculpting becomes sharp silvery blob >boring >Architecture becomes a highly simplified box >boring >Painting becomes black canvases >boring >Ballet becomes disabled people air-humping >boring >Film becomes a three hour slideshow of leaves >boring >Music becomes bleep-bloop >boring
You'd think this lack of art in society would wash over come the next generation that rediscovers the past but that's hardly even the case right now. We've been overstimulated to the point where "gibs" has become society's main talking point and even then these hedonists get so depressed they off themselves as the next interesting gimmick.

People are flocking to e-celebs because what you see is more raw and genuine.
While, I don't deny that e-celebs can fake their image and act, the platform itself causes that sort of act to crack. Look at the great liberalist Soyfag of Cuckold. His intellectual persona has crumbled with people like Mister Metokur keeping people in check for being faggots.
Or, say Pewdiepie. He even admits himself that he definitely let his fame get to him. Watch his material now, it's hard to pin him as a fake, or a fraud.
Hell, let's look at TV personalities: Gordan Ramsey, Simon Cowell, and Jeremy Clarkson. These three guys are most memorable 'cause they are fucking raw. Their personas are straight, and they fucking hate bullshit. There's a reason why they're popular, and so are their shows.
The platforms are changing, and so are the rules of engagement.
Andrew Bailey
I agree with you 100% and actually I explained the exact same time to my sister like 3 months ago.

I agree with you on the revival of classical. Very odd times.

The thing that kept celebrity working was the illusion that they were living amazing lives, going to parties all day and traveled the world. The press did their absolute best to try and show the world just how much bullshit that was, which is why we have gossip magazines and papparazzi. Those actually serve as a check on Hollywood.
These days, everyone knows that celebrities are just paid shills, are often psychological trainwrecks and most are just horrible people who only care about their image in the media. Only time that we give a shit is when some sweet innocent girl comes along and we can say "Well, at least this one hasn't turned into a whore yet!"
Middle-aged male actors kind of get a pass because we want those kinds of men to be unapologetically alpha in a way that grinds other people's gears. We want them to go on talk shows drunk and just mess with the host for no reason. We want them to do coke of hookers tits and jizz in their assholes. We want them to just crush young hotheads with a snide remark that puts them in their place. But this isn't celebrity idolatry, that's jsut what we want from grown men.
Cooper Lopez
tech entrepreneurs are the new rock stars also Capolla was italian, not jewish. Italians directors pretty much ruled Hollywood for a period of time during the 70s. Nows its just pure Jewish nepotism

Bach was from a world that no longer exists... I agree that we would be blessed to have another talent like his but we shouldn't get our hopes up. Probably true, things will get much worse before they get any better Breaking down the false consensus and creating an alternative are both important, but the techniques and mentality required by each discipline couldn't be more different

Bach was considered a lame out of touch geezer when he was alive though
He didn’t even get popular until after he died, some historian found his music and was like “oh this is cool”
I don’t know how that works, but that seems to be how clsssical music is. Somebody digs up music written 150 years ago and is like “hey guys look this is cool”
I guess it makes sense. Classical is usually ahead of the times funny enough

Now its nothing but blow hards that are expecting to be worshipped but are not getting the level they thought they would so act out even more ruining all mystery and respect
Joseph Hughes
I mean if we can even get headed in that direction

Film maker admitted it was just kill whitey. Even though he grew up in a well-to-do white family and neighborhood (adopted) he based the movie of his feelings of alienation walking around white neighborhoods.
He apparently felt like he was going to be attacked at any moment.
So, he's either for real and nuts. Or lying and is a race baiting piece of shit spitting in the faces of the people who raised him.
Also, there were a lot of "creative" touches the target liberal audience picked up on and got excited about that turned out to be accidental or have no intended connection to greater racial themes - like the cereal mixing symbolism/"clue" (Unless the director was instructed to deny any fancy schmancy intellectual stuff so as not to push away the black audiences).
just spread this around, get everyone you know to watch it. if this doesn't redpill them, nothing will. probably better off not talking to them at all.
>is an industrial edgelord band >partakes in mainstream TV music competition among the normies underground genres thrive still, m8
btw, speaking of overground/mainstream music: You can trace how Britney Spears fights against her ((((Record Label))) with her unreleased songs [example: Original Doll album] feat. lyric that they did not approve of, between 2006-2009
stop assuming that celebrities are emotionless robots or that you are magically "enlightened" on popular culture. Hitchcock was good but not perfect in all of his films, and Sup Forumsacks are stiff as hell when only wanting to get stuck in an infinite loop of re-creating Baroque Music (which never happens btw, since baroque and opera is produced by MODERN orchestras etc, they inject their own interpretations*)
