>Have fate/zero on my backlog for years >Always get close to watching it but decide on something seasonal and forget about it for another year >Rewatch the Gil vs Shirou fight with a friend earlier today and decide to jump right in >15 minutes in and this fucking happens
What's the matter? She's only playing with worms. Also read the VN before watching Zero
Joseph Nguyen
>Also read the VN before watching Zero There's a thread up right now telling people exactly why not to do this.
Daniel Baker
as someone who watched fz and sn last week it seemed very weird that any of the matou shit happened at all with none of it being relevant in sn
Jack Jones
Technically Zero is in a slightly different universe or something
Levi Gonzalez
Read Heaven's Feel.
Aiden Harris
...
James James
>at all with none of it being relevant in sn Fucko, FSN is a story in three parts, each one just as important as the others.
Fate route is the introduction UBW is the shift HF is the climax
There's a reason all the Matou shit comes up so much in Zero, because its a huge focus in the final route of the game. People have waited ten years, but the final route is finally going to get animated this year. FSN isn't a single route, a single route does not tell the story. You can't experience FSN without all three. TM people can't stop adapting only the first route for some reason, but someone finally paid them off enough to get the others animated.
Benjamin Nelson
Fucking underplayed but amazing moment in HF. Shirou throughout the entire game had dreams about the fire, or kept seeing the fire CG in his mind whenever he's panicking. In HF something odd happens, the usual dream sequence keeps going further than he's used to, and he starts to remember a bit more about the fire.
Fire was at night he starts to wonder, why was the sun out?
Eli Morgan
His vision starts to twist, the normal CG we saw all that time starts to shift, and he starts to remember some shit he blocked out all that time.
Blake Fisher
>ctrl+f DUDE >0 of 0 Garbage Zero thread

ill never be autist enough to do vns
what episode does ubw fork at? the first 3 eps made me too unmotivated to continue after just watching sn
Benjamin Scott
Have you tried asking reddit? They might be more up your alley.
Dylan Nguyen
>DUDEposting when nobody is talking about Iskandar Why bother
Bentley Hill
dumb secondaries
Oliver Walker
You mean normalfags as well. At least they're sticky with this trash called Zero.
Jayden Brown
I'm totally okay with being a normalfag if it means not obsessing over thousands of hours of VNs, anime, and mobile games
Ryder Miller
>Yo what the fuck, this ISN'T cool
It'll get WAY more fucked up once you read Heaven's Feel.
It turn out those worms that raped her are literally her grandfather And sometime between Zero and F/SN her brother starts raping her too And thanks to the treatment she recieved she ends up loving the dick And then she becomes a host for all the evils in the world and turns into a rapist herself And the one that she rapes is her own biological sister
Juan Turner
That is exactly what it means.
It means you are a normal person with normal tastes who shouldn't bother with niche things like what would be discussed on the anime board of Sup Forums.
Isaac Scott
this is the average intelligence of zerofag secondaries everyone.
Lincoln Walker
i feel bad for how shitty your life must be lol
Brayden Torres
>And thanks to the treatment she recieved she ends up loving the dick Not really, she's only been steadfast about liking one guy all her life. When asked about sex she still says its mostly torture for her, and she doesn't really like it. Although people certainly meme and shitpost otherwise, but she's only ever cared about Shirou and everything else was just rape. >And then she becomes a host for all the evils in the world and turns into a rapist herself >And the one that she rapes is her own biological sister That was a bad end, everyone does fucked up shit in bad ends including Shirou. Saber once cut Shirou's head off, Shirou ends up killing all his friends and family, and Ilya kills everyone in various bad ends. Yet with your logic these all happened within the normal ending of the game. That's why they're bad ends. No she doesn't do that in any normal ending.
Entire point of bad end is "Shit gets fucked up"
Cameron Anderson
Best Girl Rin never kills Shirou in any bad ends, FYI
Luis Phillips
Autism: the post.
William Murphy
Even better, she gets decapitated by based Kuzuki
Ayden Watson
Sakura's body can't help but get aroused at the sight of cock, don't confuse her state of mind with the treatment given to her body.
Carter Davis
Then what are you doing on this board? If you're not dedicated to your hobby then you're just a poser.
Landon Baker
>Best Girl Rin never kills Shirou in any bad ends, FYI In a completely out of character and cuntish move she kills his defenseless ass during the school fight if he fucks up a certain choice.
Ayden Russell
At which point will the first movie stop? Saber's death or Shirou hugging Sakura in the rain?
Mason Rogers
Spoiler that shit, bitch. It's also inaccurate, Saber doesn't die at that point
Cooper Campbell
It's actually full of people telling you to read it.
Samuel White
I just don't find the series THAT engaging
Tyler Lewis
>fifteen years later >People still think Saber died in the Hassan fight
William Young
You know what I meant.
Jose Bell
When a character's personality and physique is changed so drastically, can you truly say it's the same character and not a new one? The Saber we know and love died in that scene. Saber Alter is basically a different servant.
Isaac Price
I feel bad for how low your IQ is
Benjamin Sanders
Can anybody tell me about sakura's endings? Is there any happy ending with her stayed with shirou and all?
Aiden Gomez
She mercy kills him in one ending.
Alexander Miller
>Normal End Shirou dies after destroying Angra Mainyu, Sakura spends the rest of her life waiting for him to return. He doesn't. >True End Shirou is stopped by Illya before he can sacrifice himself, Illya sacrifices herself instead and saves him. They put Shirou's soul into a new puppet body (his old body is now swords), he and Sakura (and Rider) live happily ever after.
Ayden Wilson
also for the record puppet body was made my a mage so good at what she does that she can make puppets of hersself completely indistinguishable from the real thing, to the point that when one of them dies the other one didn't even care if they were the puppet or the original. so shirou 2.0 still has a full set of bits
Jace Watson
Thank you.
Landon Bennett
Don't forget that she's a dirty red
Kayden Stewart
Get in the fucking box Cornelius.
Xavier Diaz
>what episode does ubw fork at?
Ep. 4
David Gutierrez
How does this compare with his other dreams about the fire?
Nathan Thomas
What, isnt Kuzuki a good guy who only kills servants instead of the student masters? Like reverse kiritsugu
Isaac Clark
he's literally a trained assassin from birth he doesn't care about killing people, or about anything else for that matter
Andrew Wood
She breaks his mind in HF by killing Sakura in front of him while he's immobilized if you make a contract with her.
Jayden Torres
She doesn't really. Girl wakes Shirou up all the time, and she wakes him up normally, she could ravish him and the boy would be a-ok with it. She cum rainbows thinking of Shirou, and as you see, 90% of the time is very controlled around him.
Remember, to Shirou, Sakura liking him was not in his thought process, call it density, but she acts sisterly around him, despite her senpai adoration. If she was so into dick, you'd have seen that in the other routes, or she would have gotten a rep around school, since she is known to be as attractive by Shirou's note as Rin is, with a banging body for a 1st year (remember, she is the youngest of the cast), and Ayako's younger brother Minori ends up thirsty as hell for her but her eyes are only for Shirou.
She likes sex with the guy she likes, that's about it. Sure, she gets horny when her magical energy is past a certain threshold, but people forget that like Rin, she has tons, or the worms would have consumed her ages ago. Shinji just rapes her as vengeance and she feels bad for the guy, it's not like it's actually helpful for her, that's a meme there, since her magical energy pool is so strong, Shinji would need to sacrifice his blood, flesh, and soul to even dent the amount of magical energy she'd need if she was near death. Like, he'd never be able to cum enough, even if he was ero-doujin tier. The entire school of normie boys banging her wouldn't be enough. Hell, Shirou barely makes the cut and he can at least fund an Excaliblast from his sword batter.
Lincoln Jenkins
Japs find this shit erotic for some reason >watched stay/night....none of it being relevant in sn Fate/Stay Night is split into 3 alternate timelines. The first is Fate, where Altria is the heroine and she fights gilgamesh to destroy the grail. The second is Unlimited Blade Works, where instead of wounding Archer at the beginning, Shirou has Altria withdraw - this has a butterfly effect where Shirou and Archer fight, and then Shirou fights gilgamesh. In UBW, Tohsaka Rin is the heroine and Shirou reaffirms his ideals. The third route is called Heaven's Feel. In this timeline, Sakura is the heroine. I can't really remember what happens in this one since I read it like 9 years ago, but it basically deals entirely with the Matou side of things and Kotomine as the final boss. Worms included.
I don't mind you being a filthy secondary but please don't pull shit out of your ass
Colton Smith
It's actually worse than that. But to he fair, it's a thing that Rin does, but it's not that she means to break him. She thinks that this is what's best, so she forgets things.
To put context on the Geas end, which is what the poster I quoted is talking about, Rin asks you a set of questions, and she doesn't tell Shirou unless he gets it right, but it's a test. It's one of Rin's bad flaws, to test people without telling them they are being tested, she does this again in HF. But anyway.
The important question is the last one, which is "will you give me total your obedience?". She wants him to answer "No" because she wants a partnership, for him to be her brakes because as I said, she fucks things up because she is always confident in her methods and doesn't second guess them and that causes her issues. Shirou answering yes, illicits her to be disappointed, but she is super vague about why. She makes a Geas with him, but doesn't tell him all the ramifications.
So cue the day Shirou confronts Rin about what to do about Sakura on day 9. Where Shirou would protest, fight with Rin, Sakura would run and he would hug her in the rain, is replaced with Rin activating the Geas and telling him that he can do nothing for Sakura and it breaks him. The worse thing is that she thinks this is right, but forces the two of them to swallow all that pain as Sakura has to end her life in absolute shit which could have been avoided. So it's shitty all around and Rin will only see that later as Kotomine edges himself for when he tells her the truth later on.
Pretty shitty, more than the Sakura haters let on.
Samuel Edwards
Not wrong, but not right either. The blackening is pretty much a curse akin to Tommy when he was first introduced as the Green Ranger(this is how it's described in the interviews when Nasu talks about it, where your allies are turned by the forces of darkness, it's made to hurt more because they are the real deal, but under a spell).
Sakura and Saber are basically Tommy under Rita's spell, they are, yet they aren't themselves.
Note how she speaks to Shirou when he tells her he has to save Sakura, and she tells him that Sakura will obtain the Holy Grail, even if the result is her death. People miss the subtlety of what goes on in the route. Alter IS Saber. Dark Sakura IS Sakura, yet at the same time, they aren't.
Cameron Myers
She takes a worm out of her pussy

See, this is why I can't take Sakura seriously as a character. Beauty and the Beast Corps had less ridiculously grimdark backstories.

Then read Realta Nua, where she's a virgin who drinks blood instead.

>Rin encourages Shirou to make Saber kill civilians for mana >Jumps at the opportunity to kill Sakura over the possibility that she'll do the same

yikes.. someone's attached to that online iq test they took when they were 12
im sure you are indeed Very Smart and not a gremlin that hasnt showered in a week :----)
Connor Ward
I always felt like the puppet thing is a deus ex machina
Justin James
She just hates Sakura
Ethan Morgan
It isn't, the entire route is all about the idea of soul transfer.
William Johnson
Truly a relatable character
Isaiah Long
How? We have a priest keeping zombie orphans alive just to have his servant drain their souls for energy in the Fate route. Said priest being this guy who is edgy because it makes him feel good, which tickles the blood of the trolls of the fanbase.
And Sakura's story shows how far magi are willing to go for their objectives, something we already knew.
People call her backstory too much when we have other stories about a guy adopting twin maids so he can have his family ravish them to calm their demon blood, or the myriad of bleak shit you get in Type-Moon anyway.
Sakura's backstory is fine when compared to that.
Jacob Miller
The whole route revolves around the Third Magic, it's not an asspull at all. Seeing it actually get used in the end is very climactic.
>people tell me to read the VN/watch UBW before watching Zero >don't >mfw the VN/UBW sucks ass so it's good I didn't spoil Zero for myself with it
Aaron Taylor
Nasu says it's okay to watch Zero before F/SN only the autists care about this.
Jayden Mitchell
>Spoiling Zero It doesn't works like that
Kevin Price
Did Nasu ever imagine something this fucked up when he first wrote HF? Or am I selectively forgetting something?
Oliver Russell
She doesn't. That's the only bad end where Shirou is explicitly confirmed to survive and is completely removed from the Grail War. She wiped his memory and took his Command Seals, the next day he met up with Issei, he no longer has memories of who Rin is, and his hand started hurting.
Elijah James
Nasu wrote Tsukihime and is good friend with Uro. You tell me.
Angel Perry
Until you tell her you're going to rat it to Shirou. Then she'll break your head.
Christian Brooks
>And thanks to the treatment she recieved she ends up loving the dick No ? Her abnormal arousal come from Zouken manipulating her body to make her fuck Shirou.
Dylan Thompson
Looking back, was the FSN [UBW] TV series that bad?
Ethan Cruz
Canon wife, she deserves it

『Kusarihime ~Euthanasia~』 is a visual novel released by Lair-soft in 2002. The game was praised for its unique settings and the story. Soon after its release, 『Kusarihime』's scenario writer Hoshizora Meteo (who later joined TYPE-MOON to work on 『Girls' Work』) gathered several people from around the industry, including scenario writers Nasu Kinoko, Tanaka Romeo, and Urobuchi Gen, to talk about the game, which later resulted in a 『Kusarihime』 fanbook.
Inspired by their discussion of 『Kusarihime』, Romeo went on to create 『CROSS†CHANNEL』, Urobuchi Gen made 『Saya no Uta』, and Nasu came up with Heaven's Feel route for 『Fate/stay night』. Not only is 『Kusarihime』 is considered a classic, but it is also considered a cradle of other classics. The dialog
Below is the legendary talk that appeared in the 『Kusarihime』 fanbook.
>It turn out those worms that raped her are literally her grandfather I thought only the one wrapped around her heart was literally her grandfather and the rest of them were merely demonic rape worms with an intrinsic knowledge of his magecraft carved into them.
Henry Gray
Every worm is a part of Zouken's body, he can move his soul among each of them.
Jaxson Evans
Yes, without any doubt. Once VNs leave their containment medium, it just becomes horribly clear how utterly stupid most of their plotlines are. It's because the plot has to be condensed for anime or other media and thus seems clearer, while VNs in-medium, try to obfuscate their shitty writing by compensating with pretty graphics, silly music and good voice acting as also, from time to time, with h-scenes.
Daniel Morris
Why did Kirei BTFO Sakura in the forest?
Caleb Martin
Their mistake was not readapting Fate first.
Landon Green
Director was an UBWfag who liked Illya.
Benjamin Sanders
Because she thought she had literally become the shadow and was someone completely different. Kotomine clarified the difference between the shadow and Dark Sakura to her, saying Dark Sakura is still herself deep on the inside.
Ethan Russell
