Is Toradora still the greatest love story ever told?

Is Toradora still the greatest love story ever told?

Love isn't a story you tell, it's a way of life.

No, Oreimo is.

Yes.

True

Like Berserk's eclipse arc, I have to respect it because it somehow still makes me mad.

I'm the greatest love story ever told

no, that's Tamako love story

I thought this too until I watched Rose of Versailles.

couldnt get past episode 5 or something, too much autismo, how could you do it Sup Forums? was it because you were so young? would you watch it again?

It's not hard to keep its place as the best love story when romance is the weakest genre of anime.

yes

good taste

>tripfag having shit taste
Well I'll be.

user, I was in the same boat as you, I was seriously considering dropping it after 5 episodes because the MCs were super annoying

I literally just finished this an hour ago and I'm glad I didn't, and I'll just say it gets massively better from there. The first 5 episodes are the pleb filter

Came here just to post this.

No, it's incredibly lackluster.

>too much autismo
What an idiotic complaint.

No

Sorry, Toradora lost it's crown.

Me on the right.

...

yes

tsurezure children and tsuki ga kirei are both airing right now and have better love. last season had something as well I forget, toradora only had romance for maybe 1/5th of the series or less, it was more of a drama

>Tsuki ga Kirei
That was last season.

>tsuki ga kirei
I was wondering how I missed this show then I remembered Spring was for the most part utter shit and I dropped all shows. Is it actually better than Toradora?

I haven't seen this or Clannad, which will make me cry more?

Clannad for sure because of Maeda always trys to add some sad element to all his stories. Clannad is when he was still in his prime though so its a good one. If youre not a total newfag and want tears then watch Kanon 2006.

and if youre a real user you should just read the VNs

Kare Kano, WA2 and Tsuki ga Kirei are all better series.

>Is it actually better than Toradora?
Unironically yes.

It's just one of the earliest well-know romance anime but in the end it's just another rom-com tsundere cliche series. Not bad, but also not good.

Yes, it is. Maybe i think that because toradora was my first rom-com, but whatever, it's a great love story

Shit anime.

Taiga a shit.
Ami a best.

>greatest
yeah, she abused him constantly, should have went for the blue haired girl.

Ami should have won, anime should have ended where Taiga was put in her place, as should all violent tsunderes.

It is still definitely one of the most satisfying romances, precisely because it managed to have the right amount of lightheartedness and over-the-top instances while leading up to dramatic moments which actually had a feeling of catharsis. There are few series as simultaneously comfy and emboldening as motherfucking Toradora.

>not liking violent tsunderes
Get a load of this low T beta

Nah it ended on a pretty flat note and I think they should have done more with the characters actually being in a relationship

But serious talk when taiga goes crazy on prez that is the TIGHTEST shit in any romance i've ever fucking seen

You might be the cuck, considering you like women that don't know how to act around men. Kurisu is and will always be the best tsundere.

>not wanting to tame the shrew

Yes, many have come close, but none fills me with more joy than this did.

Orihime X Ulquiorra

depends: is his mom still the best girl?

can you speak english please

I have a question, why is is so fucking re-watchable?

I could easily watch this 3 times a year, and to an extant do as I watch it double during Christmas time, I start my personal re-watch Black Friday AND watch it with Sup Forums at midnight in december.

Its one of those series you go back to just watch one scene, then you're like, I wanna see this scene again too, then another, and another, then whatever episode the scene you just watched was one, you end up watching from that episode to the end.

Same goes for the manga Karin for me and Koharu no hibi, both of which I re-read every year.

I'm about to rewatch it for my 2nd time this year, I have no idea why as well but I know what you feel

Toradora is the Goodfellas of anime, if it one, you're gonna sit down and watch it.

Toradora is an embarrassment.

...

>Is Votoms still the greatest love story ever told

Yes

Why settle for less when I can get an already tamed girl who is loyal and sweet? Kirino and Taiga a shit.

can anyone explain to me what is the appeal of toradora? I honestly don't know if "the greatest love story ever told" is sarcastic or not. I don't think it's bad or anything, but it was never memorable to me no matter how many times I rewatch it. I dont hate romance or anything, in fact I enjoy karekano, honey &clover, kimi no todoke and versailles.

Taiga a love.
Taiga a life.

Tsunderefags with shit taste trying way too hard to pretend that their badly written harems where horrid abrasive people are handed an undeserved victory over and over out of nothing but tradition are actually popular, as you can see by how Toradora and Oreimo are the series they constantly spam. Literally nothing else to it.

>amifags are still this mad that best girl won

Tsuki ga kirei exists now
So no

I'm literally no character in toradora is likeable. the initial attraction between Taiga glasses whatshisname is also painful. I think my frustration in its basic form is that it plays like a stereotypical tsundere romance. mind you it's not about aging, I watched it first in 2009.
