Do you guys hoard anime too?

Not really.

Watching anime is not "hording", unless you're a streamfag.

Only if it's good and I'll watch it later down the line. I make about 15GB on BP alone each day. I certainly don't 'hoard' that hevc shit or tv-rips

I have a single 5TB drive that is chronically full. I constantly need to delete shit to download new stuff. To be fair, though, most of that is backlogged shit I might never watch.

rewatch it*

yes, almost at 1 TB of shows

3x3 threads should be exchanged for these kinds of threads.

Boy do I.
Ever since the megaupload purge in 2012 I have neurotically archived everything on the internet that might interest me at some point, preparing for the day we are finally and cataclismically cut off.
I even dl'd the entire wikipedia, All of it.
A ridiculous amount of anime awaits for the day CR rules all and nyaa is dead along with any hope for freedom and justice.

Yes, because with this you expose what a faggot you are much more than with a 3x3.

No just the porn, this is just doujins and h-mags

After losing my collection twice (anime, porn, games, movies) I just said fuck it and don't bother anymore. I wasn't watching most of the stuff I had anyways.

>less than 1 TB of doujins
Look at this casual

3x3 threads are stupid either way. A shitty pixelated image won't tell me what show it is half of the time. It's also too little to mean anything.

for what purpose
i instantly delete right after im done with it

>[CBM] Outlaw Star
>[Coalgirls] Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
>[OZC] Cowboy Bebop
>[a-S] anything
>[DeadFish] anything
Stop downloading shitty encodes.

>implying people care about that shit

As in archiving or having a rotting backlog?

nah, i deleted my collection and now i just stream

G: contains 100gb of vn/eroge.

The nyaafugees don't have much choice user. Speaking of which can someone seed Senyuu Season 2 720p already. Christ.

Anyone with an AB invite that is interested in trading for a Gazellegames invite?

The first three are perfectly fine unless you are a poorfag with no space.

no they shouldn't

i like believing people on Sup Forums have better taste than they actually do

No, CBM's encodes of Outlaw Star aren't very good.
Coalgirls didn't antialias FMA:B. AtsA is better for much, much, much less space.

I just keep a backlog in form of mangaupdates and anidb and vndb booksmarks and have AB/BBT accounts

Give me your mail and GGn profile link socan PM you

Post you're mal so I can net you an invite.

Very little, only 100GB worth of some favorites I want to keep, other than that I only "hoard" my backlog. I just don't have the storage to really hoard all the shows I watch nor do I think it's really worth the investment to buy it.

>CBM's encodes of Outlaw Star aren't very good

What's the best alternative then?

user you're being a bit paranoid by talking about cut off but I like that you downloaded Wikipedia one more person who's storing an encyclopedia

I only archive stuff I really really really like, and plan on rewatching.
Same with manga

Well I'm partial to mine (kuchikirukia), either the degrained or the full grain one only available on AB. deanzel and EG are also great.

So what do you have saved?
Which setup?

>no boku no pico
faggot

I'll give it a try, I didn't really see any problems with CBM when I compared it with some other releases but I don't really have any knowledge about encoding. it's just that when I see some torrent with way more downloads than any other on AB I usually think that's probably the best release.

>names don't line up with drive letters

>it's a rukia recommends 'her' own encodes again episode

i have somewhere around 9tb right now.

I only hoard high quality releases of good shows. Thanks AB.

>$ du -hs Videos/Anime/
>5.1T Videos/Anime/
Just a little.

I hoard manga and art books.

>tfw 1.40 TB
Already helped when I had no internet for a month.

Forgot the pic.

EG is the best encoder there is. If there is an EG release you have to get it.

>kimagure orange road
>good shows
Pick one.

>vlc

That's smaller than my airing seasonal folder. Come back when you have a NAS server with 10+tb of anime.

>saves horriblesubs rips
You...

There's not 10tb worth and even then that's not that impressive. I have about 2tb but I had to make room for movies and music.

I delete them when there's a better version available.

You're right. I use it to read NA DVDs but MPV can do this as well. Maybe, I'll do that later.

>create something to your own specs
>like it because it's to your own specs
Amazing how that works.

>I delete them when there's a better version available.
So that picture is outdated then I assume.

Yeah I love aspect raidou a lot too

I tried, ripped my own BD's, added subs, or used built in if they were acceptable. Gave up after awhile, too much work, too many shows.

>torrenting
>streaming

Imagine being a poorfag that can't afford the BD's or even the old DVD's
Download is a waste of time and space
Streaming is if you want to be blind

I've got this plus something like 300gb or so still sitting in my download folder. I'm actually surprised there's not more, I need to clean out some of the stuff that I'll probably never watch again.

>living in the passed

Physical media is dead, get over it.

So do you guys use some kind of system like a specific folder naming scheme, individual custom icons, automated backup strategy or are you just dumping the files straight out of the download folder onto an external HDD?

They never leave my torrent client

>local storage

Look mom I posted it again

>There's not that much anime worth watching anyways
You can leave now.

>anime's titles as icons

One of my HDDs

Liked. i droped my back up HD whit almost 2teras of bd... i dont want to start again.

Only a bit

Also, does h-manga count?

Why?

>names don't match the drive letters
>two of them start with the same letter

Because you're a stupid casual.

There's not 10TB worth of anime. it's that simple. I'd say you're the casual.

>There's not 10TB worth of anime

You need to leave.

Stick to the original context yes.

Only the good ones

>877 MB free

Post what's inside, pussy. I have 700 shows and almost everything is BD and only managed to reach 7TB. Excluding ones with 100+ episodes(e.g the big three ,conan and gintama)

yes
Watching School Rumble at the moment, what next bois?

ok

upload torrents of some of those shows and seed them

I included 1.63TB of stuff I couldn't fit on there at the bottom too by the way. Probably have another TB or so here and there.

I already did a while back.

Is 2TB worth of anime considered much by today's standards? I wouldn't call that hoarding.

Upgrade your NAS already, Jesus Christ!

What should I watch next?

you people are retarded, just delete them as soon as you're finished

Considering I never rewatch most of it and I've completely forgotten I even had some of the anime that I've downloaded, I'd say I'm hoarding. OP definitely isn't though.

>tfw no My Balls adaptation by Xebec

>raws
that's cheating

You call that hoarding?
That's nowhere near hoarding levels. More like a messy download folder without much stuff in it. Come back when you have to dedicate entire drives to anime (or other type of media)

>no highschool of the dead season 2

>Animated Soviet Propoganda
What?

Beautiful

...

Hard to horde anime when u have 800kbs aus internet, kinda been bored and havent bothered recently. pic is from unsorted folder fair amount more in it

Deleted 1TB of anime just yesterday, it wasn't even backlog just a ton of shows I already watched

>had to delete 50GB flac bd of Shinsekai Yori that took me 2 weeks to dl
Felt pretty bad afterwards.

Is that puny list supposed to be a "hoard"?

How does downloading waste more time then buying DVD's and waiting for them to ship? You literally just click a link and space shouldn't an issue unless you're a poorfag.

If any hoardfags want to upgrade your copy of Index, this was released a couple weeks ago and it beats out everybody else:
nyaa.si/view/955904

>that
>hoarding
Come the fuck on, user. Do you really call what looks like ~150-200 GBs of anime "hoarding"?
I am forced to delete almost every anime on my HDD after I'm done with it, so I don't really have the right to point that out, but still; that's not hoarding.

>he doesn't use covers
Literally how can you watch anime knowing that your library's unappealing to the eyes?

you are past the hoarding stage, right into mental illness
