Whiy is staff morale low? Because we aren't getting paid enough and I have in the past worked 8 12 (usually 13) hour shifts in a row because there was no-one else who could cover my ward. I went to med school for 5 years and I'm earning £28,000/year. I barely have time to do anything but work. We're overworked and underpaid, and if it continues there will be walkouts on mass.

Hello.

How about in an ideal world?

DUP are retarded. The December agreement effectively means *at least* Northern Ireland is kept in full alignment with the Republic (ergo the EU). Then the part where the UK won't move out of alignment with NI effectively keeps the entire UK aligned to the rules of the EU, which won't wash. The concession on the UK remaining in alignment is a pretty basic lie, which won't be adhered to once the government can't be held hostage by the DUP any longer.

If anything, it's the DUP that are "thwarting Brexit", because Brexit inevitably means jettisoning Northern Ireland, and that writing is already on the wall - the legally binding protocol is binding NI to the EU, but not the whole UK. The choice between having checkpoints on the 400-something tiny crossings between NI and the Republic, or in the Irish sea, where you already need ID and customs style checks at 4 or 5 locations is obvious. Fantasy land stuff. The UK couldn't give two fucks about NI and the retards in the DUP.

do you want to buy northern ireland?

The Good Friday agreement only came into effect because the IRA couldn't take it any more. The exact same terms were offered to them a decade earlier and they turned them down. They didn't just get more reasonable in the space of that 10 years.

Send the SAS back and it's done.

Reminder that Deano has a better life than you.
>GGGGGOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL

At this rate? Well, I'm probably going to get out of the UK soon. My wife's American, and I'd be getting near 6-figures if I was practising in my position over there. I'm looking into sitting their physician's exam so I can go ahead and do that.

is this actually corbyn?

Think I might have an std after fucking 2 chav slags, will kms if its true

Why the fuck did I go on holiday
Fucking LARPing

Where've you been hiding you big tart?

What?

driving around liverpool isn't a holiday

Why not, we'll end up paying for it either way. 12BN per annum off your books, if anything you should be paying us to take it.
You're wrong but it doesn't really matter. What matters is if the Belfast Agreement is dissolved, it'll mean war again, and you'd be a special kind of fool if you think the remnants of the IRA don't have the weapons caches and operatives to do it. The reason they rejected the earlier deal is because they had no reason to believe the British could be held to their word. By the 90s, the Americans were involved as a neutral negotiator and underwriter of the deal. Remember, in the mid-late 1980s, British Intelligence were fully insided in the IRA and orchestrating the worst attacks against civilians in an effort to drum up support for a full ethnic cleansing of all Irish from NI. Under such conditions, they could hardly be trusted to stick to any kind of deal.

I would love to see the IRA try and stage a terror campaign in 2018, they would get absoulety cunted. Not to mention all of those le ebin dissident groups are all known to British authorities and Mr Xkeyscore.

I'm on a cottage holiday in Shropshire larping as a functional family. It went tits up as usual

>Britbongistan

> they would get absoulety cunted
Yeah, we sure showed them by caving to their demands, devolving political power and disbanding the Ulster Constabulary, then jut giving all of their insurgents amnesty for their crimes

cheeky

The thing is though, it really doesn't take much to carry out devastating terror attacks and instigate chaos. Even your own homegrown muslim dickheads with an IQ of 75 are able to do it, and whatever they know, they learned from the IRA guys who travelled to the middle east after 1998 to teach them. You can presume all you like that you can keep the IRA "under control" even though you never could before, but when they could come from anywhere, attack anywhere, and be anyone, there's not a whole lot you can do to stop them.

Please do not post this in outer/pol/. They're likely to believe it at face value, and come here to shit up the thread.

Lmao fuck off eddies little mouthpiece. Ulster is still British the IRA failed

We don't have kids thankfully.

thanks, thats made me feel better, she might be pregnant tho so Ill still have to kms

we could just kill all the irish and be done with it

Bloody hell mate. What happened?

And you'd still be cleaning his toilet

>Power shared between both sides
>All-island economy in tourism, agriculture, dairy
>NI can vote at any time to reunify
>Only reason it hasn't so far is the NHS, and the tories are working on dismantling it.

NI has about 15-20 years left, if even. If Brexit cuts it off from the Republic, it's doomed within 5 years. The inevitable trajectory of the region is to rejoin the rest of the island. The UK doesn't even care about NI. Any effort to drag NI further away from the republic would at this point trigger a vote for reunification. I even had a manager at one point, from a staunch loyalist family, but working in the republic. He said he'd vote to reunify if there were any risk of a border going back up, and so would many other unionists. Unionism was a pragmatic, logical ideology based on what best benefitted the statelet. If the UK makes it less advantageous to stay in, then even your protestant unionists will vote to leave.

>eddies little mouthpiece
I've literally never seen Eddie talk about the GFA
>the IRA failed
They've gained institutional power, gotten out of jail free, and gotten rid of the UK's Ulster enforcers, how is that a failure?

Have you seen '71? It's not a biased movie but you should watch it its very accurate, all these bombers, ring leaders and dissidents and the heavy majority of their members are known to Security Forces but they didn't want to cause shit by knocking them off.

I doubt it would be very hard especially in the technological age to mitigate the majority of Republican attacks considering they're organised groups and assaults unlike the shitskins we have here who have literally no links to ISIS or any chain of command aside from talking to them through an email in a small amount of cases since ISIS always claims responbility for literally every attack

>denial
We banned Ulstermen from being Ulstermen, we recognised terrorists as heads of state. You can bury your head if you want you stupid little faggot, it won't change reality.

I know it's hard for you racist brainlets to understand, but Cheddar Man was a West African negroid, and every single one of you is an African migrant too

It was a stalemate

>how is that a failure?

There is no single Irish state. There will be a unified Irish state in time, but only because we are running out of room on this island and will have to build an extension next door.

We could probably crowdfund the money and buy the Republic. There won't be an Irish people to think about in 50 years.

good content, i'd like to see more of these

ps: a little wordy

hey evidence-let
show me some proofs for your 'out of Africa' theory, it's almost as dumb as flat earth...
inb4..

UK intelligence had insided the IRA
The IRA had insided UK intelligence (through Gay bars and Gay members of Mi5 no less)

Fun times. As for '71, it's a fantastic film. I want to see Jack O'Connell in more stuff, he was bloody brilliant in that.

...

You're speaking to a bunch of larping mongs heavily invested in pink cartography paint.
But you make the good point about NI referendum. We ask NI if they want to be unify with the Republic, and if they chose wrong (no), we ask them again and again until they get it right and then stop asking.

Australia had a 1999 referendum on becoming a Republic. Just follow those terms.

Lads I am looking for a book which I am sure must exist on the topic of Human Rights in bongland before 1998. Does anyone know of such a book?

Please accept this nice drawing in gratitude.

And an official republic at that because both the UK and Australia are in practice.

>world's largest empire
>bunch of estate dwelling paddies
Who would win?

The British people will fail before the Irish do. Ireland is still 95% white, and non-EU immigration to Ireland dropped dramatically since the recession. Meanwhile, May seems to have implied they'll be seeking trade deals with Pakistan and India, and if they do, there'll undoubtedly be a migration clause in that too. You're already much further down this demographic path than we are, and that will seal it. Hell, British retirees are already moving en-masse to rural Ireland because it's closer to the culture they grew up with than what their hometowns are like now. Shit's gotten bleak.

How is that even slightly relevant?

I hope to Jesus it doesnt come to armed conflict again. It may be funny for all those outside of belfast to see fighting, but fucking hell it isnt good for me or others who live in Belfast.

I am under your bed, in your chimney, but most likely in the kitchen cupboard next to the cooking chocolate.
Hello! I hope you are well.

Because you're talking about holding a Referendum on becoming a Republic you fat, deserting alcoholic fuck.

>decisive british vicotry
>17 fucking hours leaching off the back of somebody elses arguments on constitutional law because you aren't half as smart as you think you are

>There is no single Irish state.
But there has been significant devolution of powers, and a conscious effort to remove Union symbols from NI politics.
They're playing the long game, you daftie.

It's Diane Abbott breaking them isn't it?

Pretty much. The UK needed NI when it was a centre of shipbuilding and linen manufacturing. Now it's nothing but a large, deep hole they have to keep throwing money into, and the DUP are upsetting the apple cart in Westminster. I doubt if it'll be tolerated for long. Let Britain be Britain, who gives a fuck about Loyalism.

Oh sorry I didn't realise you can't fucking read you stupid cunt.
I said joining THE Republic. As in the Republic of Ireland you retarded paki

That was already done, was it not?

>you retarded paki
Gnger ghost who could absolutely trump your 10 minutes on the Open University any day.

The concern was always about how Proddies/Loyalists in the North would be treated by a new system created through a militant campaign like the IRA's, with a wariness about leaving them 'to the wolves', but with the slow change that we're seeing these days there's almost certainly not going to be any reprisals against them. The North will join the South, and life will go on as always for them.

Ulstermen are more British than the British, and we've been taught to hate being British. We'll desert them in full soon enough.

If they attempt to put border controls between the Republic and NI, there will be war again, it's pretty much as simple as that. The checkpoints will be attacked, so the army will have to be posted, then the army will be attacked, Loyalists will get into the mix and then it's the 1970s all over again.

>deserting
You can't desert a state which never wanted your loyalty in the first place. The Irish as part of the UK weren't treated as real British citizens. If we were, we'd probably be a unified nation. Your attitude pretty much confirms it.
>Fuck you alcoholic paddy scum
>Why won't the Irish consent to being ruled by us?
In the almost 100 years since independence, Ireland has surpassed the UK in terms of GDP per capita, HDI, rates of education, FDI, while the small part of the island which remained in the UK has stagnated and degenerated from neglect and indifference. Why the hell would the Irish ever want to return to the UK?

Lel lad. Start coming to Brit/pol/ more. All of those were aimed at Eddie, not Ireland.

>STEPPING UP: Brexit Britain will be a world leader again – but only if we ramp up military spending, top Tory warns PM
thesun.co.uk/news/5676415/

>more military spending
To do what with the army, exactly?

Are you thick? Did you genuinely think I was suggesting NI was holding a vote to become a Republic as an individual state and your first response wasn't "that's reatrded" but to compare it to Australia?
As has already been discussed several times in this thread, NI will be continued to be asked that question until it stops saying no. You're just reinforcing the point that you're unable to read, at least in English you Abdul cunt

More or less, but I think people forget that until recently, the Protestants in the south were the largest minority, and always got to have their own schools, their own culture, their own churches, and never faced any discrimination. The closest thing was the burning of gentry estates in the 50s, which was more a class thing than an ethnic thing. In my hometown in the South, the orange order marched regularly into the 1980s, and the local protestants are still a respected, integrated part of the community. There's simply no basis for the idea that Prods would be discriminated in the republic, and a bit galling given the actual apartheid state operated in the North against Catholics.

>British retirees are already moving en-masse to rural Ireland

That is how you cease to exist.

>devolution of powers

We hand over money, the assembly doles it out.

>long game

There is no long game. The Republic of Ireland will be absorbed by its larger neighbour just like a corporate acquisition. If my county got itchy feet and moved to Ireland the country would cease to exist.

But the Republic has been free of the conflict to a large degree that the North has suffered. How could you possibly predict that Catholics in the North wouldn't find justification in their abuse of the Ulstermen?

er, retirees aren't part of a demographic destiny. They're old. They aren't having kids.

I assumed the implication was that by becoming a Republic they would re-unify with the Republic of Ireland.

The Australian Referendum on becoming a Republic was about independence from Britain too which was the relevant part. Again, I'm having to walk you through this because you can't get it through your thick brain.

>You're just reinforcing the point that you're unable to read, at least in English you Abdul cunt
Is this the same as the other day when you're going to twist my words on constitutional law from "WE DON'T HAVE A WRIDDEN CONSTITUTION" to "WE DON'T HAVE WRIDDEN FOCKIN CONSTITUTION" and then make me out to be dumb because I missed a single word ("A") whilst still BTFO'ing all of your arguments in the meantime.

>NI will be continued to be asked that question until it stops saying no
No, I very much doubt it because this isn't the EU passing EU law in France, it's a much more fragile situation where lives would potentially be at stake no matter the odds of it turning bad. The only way I see a renewal of the original is because of Brexit.

It's unlikely retirees will be having children, therefore the """"Irish"""" culture remains intact. I agree with you that the situation is actually heading for the reverse rather than NI joining with the Republic, however.

If ruled from Dublin it isn't the Catholics in the North who get to make the rules, it's the Dail in Dublin, and the DUP will very quickly find itself as one of the most powerful parties. The likes of Fine Gael and Fianna Fail would much sooner jump into bed with the DUP than with Sinn Fein. I mean, if Catholics in the North want retribution or revenge, they have as good an opportunity to do it now, as in a United Ireland. I just don't see it happening.

Invade france.

Never going to happen. The Irish would sooner go back to war than unify with the UK. As I said, the Republic has thrived independently and gone from one of Europe's poorest regions to one of it's wealthiest. The Irish themselves were treated worse than dogs in the UK. The only way it would happen is by force, and even then, there would be constant revolutions and revolts, as there were the last time.

Reminder that all n*rthern troglodytes need to be burned alive.

looks like those weird elf troll toy things with the hair yoo could comb

Are you the same retard who couldn't read the other week when I said the UK constitution contains codified constitution? Because I'm sensing a pattern here. Take special not of the word "the" you stupid paki cunt. It's important. You wouldn't have wasted your time yet again waffling about irrelevant nonsense in a desperate attempt to deflect the BTFO I have delt you once more.
Cunt

Ok paddy here's a deal
We will take in all of the protestants currently residing if you accept the deportation of all scousers to the new 32 county democratic socialist republic

Pretty sure they used n*rtherners as inspiration.
