Bure > Rumba > Beam

Shaft's Magnum Opus.

Beam>Rumba>Bure, not even baiting

Best shaft show tied with Hidamari, also pic related.

Isn't it the only good shaft anime?

Kaiki parts are great too.

I like this cute immigrant.

The show's overall presentation leans on text and the bantz are localized. Too much is lost on a random fucking yank like myself. I just charged in blind and watched about 8 episodes without knowing anything about the series, including the fact that it's haremshit. It would need to have some really outstanding qualities to offset that. The girls were gorgeous, but the show was episodic and there was no plot, just sensei chilling with his harem. Dropped.

It's a real hoot.

>Goku's OP3 flat out spoils the manga ending
It's subtle enough not to give it away.

...

S1 sent my sides to the orbit.
It went downhill fast from there.

Remember

I can't keep up with seasonal anime anymore.

...

I wish they would at least animate the ending.

I love it, both the manga and the anime.
The author's other works were just disappointing after SZS.

It is fun.
Fuuka is best girl.

Sorry. Kafuka.
Fuuka is worst P3 girl

I loved it but this thread has left me in despair

i only got 30% of the references and jokes but it was great.

...

...

It's one of the all time greats.

dropped after 3 episodes from s2 . i liked the concept and the characters but many of the joke were hard to understand or simply did not make any sense

>doesn't have two hours a day to enjoy himself
Why even live?

Do you even nipponjin?

It's a show I want to like but the jokes are shit.
I wish someone took the cute characters and made a good anime about them instead.

>many of the joke were hard to understand
lol, brainlet.

A good series with a top-tier husbando.

Yes, such as Kudo, sensei's only wife (male).

What is Kumeta doing now?

me too

>the jokes
It's social commentary, if anything. It's not set up > punch line, and it doesn't even rely excessively on that boke-tsukkomi relationship, like most other anime.
I found SZS was an anime I ended up liking more on rewatch, after I had more knowledge on the anime industry/along with just general knowledge of older anime.
An interesting insight, imo.

PPD is also great
