Whenever people talk about the "best" artists in the industry people always mention Togashi or other manga greats. Why is Boichi not considered one of the best? His art is amazingly good and a perfect mix between serious and funny. Everybody dick rides all the other big manga artists but I never hear people on here talk about how good Boichi's artwork is? The art on Dr.Stone only gets better every week.
>Pic related Sun-ken Rock
Cooper Sanchez
Probably because he's attached to shitty stories like Sunken Rock. I've read Dr. stone and it's still not good.
Grayson King
Sun-Ken Rock is good. Dr.Stone is good. What are you on?
Zachary Garcia
I do hope Boichi gets more recognition
Colton Richardson
His art is good but Sun-ken Rock was immature bullshit with a his awful Gary stu MC.
Wish he would stuck with porn.
Kayden Lopez
>mangahere >niggastream Kill yourself.
Jose Gonzalez
I enjoy his art, though the female faces are sometimes fine and sometimes pull me out of what I'm reading. Sun Ken Rock would have been a great manga without the end he pulled out right of his ass.
Jason James
Listening to fans was a mistake. Always is, always will be His females can be very sameface-y. Heck they usually have the same curvy bodytype
Ryder Baker
Boichi can' draw anything except for muscular human bodies, and his brushwork is decent. But teh rest is awful. His faces are atrocious, his action lacks impact, and his panelling flows like vomit.
Ethan Richardson
>Sun Ken Rock >bad asspull ending
Fucking really? Why? I stopped reading mangos for a time and was gonna pick it back up... is it still worth it?
And why does it seem all the manga that I was following have had such shit endings while I was away? Why can't authors write proper fucking endings?
Noah Sanders
I guess you haven't read Dr.Stone where the faces are good, the action has impact and the paneling is good. Plus he draws muscle people good in Dr.Stone also.
Ian Diaz
Because you are newshit who seems to live under the rock until recently, there's a plenty of manga artists with more skills at drawing, Boichi is just one of them, and he's certainly not even that great to begin with. Besides, manga aren't about art.
James Anderson
You should read it until he defeats Yumin's father. Stop there. There's like 2, 3 more chapters, but they ruin the series. If you pretend it ends with him defeating the big bad, it's a good manga.
Jaxon Powell
>manga aren't about art
John Ramirez
>Manga aren't about art
If manga isn't about art then why aren't we just reading normal books?
Anthony Powell
>Whenever people talk about the "best" artists in the industry people always mention Togashi is this bait
>Why is Boichi not considered one of the best? Yeah it's definitely bait
Noah Wood
>t. only reads/watches things from the 80s
Gabriel Perez
>Besides, manga aren't about art.
Camden Hill
Because he's a gook
Zachary Sanchez
>Whenever people talk about the "best" artists in the industry people always mention Togashi Stopped reading.
Hudson Rivera
he can't create a decent story, that's why Dr. Stone is the only good manga in his career
Tyler Kelly
Personally,Origin is much better than Dr.stone.
Joseph Hernandez
...
Charles Hernandez
you're retarded
there's always people who post him in "best artist" threads
Josiah Wright
My nigga, feels like almost nobody is reading it though.
Jack Brooks
What makes Origin special or better than Dr.Stone? Is it worth it to pick it up now or should I wait until it finishes? The premise of Origin seemed incredibly basic to me. Why is it so good?
Hunter Murphy
And yet its the art that draws the readers in. If the goblin rape was done by a shit tier artist, Goblin slayer would remain unknown. The same thing with Onepunch man.
Brandon Brown
Boichi is good, there aren't much else to talk about. His spreads appear frequently in one page threads. I think you've just missed the times we acknowledge his art
Nathaniel Watson
he didn't even write dr. stone
Luis Harris
SKR's last 1/3rd was a massive pile of shit and the final 5 chapters flaming liquid diarrhea.
Joseph Wright
>The same thing with Onepunch man. OPM was pretty popular even before the Murata redraws
Mason Allen
how many combo can you get posting the same chapter on different websites piling the watermarks like this?
Connor Flores
same-face syndrome is why both Boichi and Oda are never brought up in best artist threads
they just can't draw women who look like humans
Cameron Murphy
Say that to Attack on Titan and it's shitty art
Dominic Cooper

Ryan Morris
Boichi-kino.
Nathan Ross
>Whenever people talk about the "best" artists in the industry people always mention Togashi What the fuck?
Aiden Perez
>Besides, manga aren't about art.
Justin Brooks
Fuck off.
Zachary Perry
Didn't finish SKR because reasons, but to find out it shits itself at the end is sad. Though it's not surprising. I was always hoping the manga would veer more into the political sphere with a good dose of fighting on the side, but the last quarter was anything but. Also lurk more, OP.
Christopher Young
Yeah Boichi can't write for shit (see: Wallman), I'm just glad he's only drawing for Dr. Stone.
David Bennett
Evidently. Thank god you don't need good writing for porn.
Joseph White
Boichi has an extreme case of same-face The only thing he's done that's markedly different from his usual style (because he made some marginally different faces) is Dr. Stone. Same-face is OK, but only if you have a lot of faces to work with.
Jaxson Cox
>Same-face is OK, but only if you have a lot of faces to work with. What. Sameface is when you don't have a lot of faces to work with.
Liam Thompson
FIrst of all, sameface and not everyone find giraffes arousing.
Also, for every good page he draws, he makes 10 pages with only chibi and lazy drawn characters, he should find a balance.
And on top of that, most of the manga he works on have a good 1st third, a mediocre middle, and a shit ending.
Michael Bennett
I kinda recognize this artstyle. Did he draw Hotel?
Tyler Sanders
He has done some great h-manga and his drawing is fucking great but man he really can't write for shit. He can make a good character but he can't develop them at all.
Carson Wood
>he makes 10 pages with only chibi and lazy drawn characters He usually does that for the comedy bits; which are quite prevalent depending on which phase his story his in. So I think it's fine.
At least he draw some delicious fucking thighs.
Charles Diaz
>Tae-soo what a wasted character
SKR easily could have gone into the political sphere. Been a long time since I last read SKR but I do recall hoping for intrigue like that. Even if it was just more gang on gang shit, at least something with more mind games. The whole "I can tank more hits than you" is really only good for the first few impactful moments.
Luis Moore
Because the only good thing he has ever made is a oneshot.
Grayson Cruz
>what a wasted character He really was.
Alexander Collins
>Oda
Nami looked semi human at the very start of the series but that quickly disappeared. Both her body and her face looked like exactly like Luffy's but with some boobs attached to the front of her. Now she's some over exaggerated tit monster just like all the other attractive women in the series. Like, okay, I get why One Piece is so popular and I do think that Oda excels at drawing action scenes so I'm not completely shitting on him here but goddamn man, if you can't stop copy pasting the same face on every character at least stop introducing so many of them. It would be far less offensive if the cast wasn't so big but geez.
Akamatsu is also pretty bad with the same face shit but I feel like he's gotten better since Negima first came out because he pretty much forced himself to learn how to differentiate 32 different girls from one another. I think Boichi is at least trying to draw different faces in Dr. Stone but Oda just doesn't give a shit how many times he reuses his 'attractive character' face.
