There's a company called VACO. They hire muslims from Turkey, Syria etc to work REMOTELY for Youtube, Facebook, etc and tell them to ban any speech they feel is offensive. Problem is, 1st amendment laws don't apply to Vaco since the employees are remote. This is a HUGE problem for free speech advocates in the US.

I’m more on the side of saying that Facebook, Twitter, and the like are large enough that they should be thought of as public space. Having as much social interaction as we do on platforms that can be controlled on the whims of CEOs and business interests isn’t much different than government control of ideas, and I would argue it’s worse because the government is at least elected.
They have transcended beyond a business-customer relationship and have become the largest meeting space in history, and as such they should be free and open just like a public square.

In many countries basic infrastructure like water supply, electricity, phone, social services are controlled by government to prevent them abusing customers. And current censorship on social media is abuse of users who dont comply to SJW policies.
I think there should be some international code or certificate of conduct that platforms that want to provide open discussion should respect. In a way that some independent organization would oversee moderation.
