I was able to get all the way back to Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius. I definitely had to flip around between going back through paternal and maternal lines, and then switching, to be able to even make it to the 18th century, and this continued for a time, until I made it to the Early Middle Ages, and eventually, the Ancient Era.
