Why did humanity not advance after the Soviet Union fell?

During the cold war, we as a species made incredbible advances in space flight and space exploration, underwater exploration, machining, literature, medicine, computing, nuclear energy etc.

Then the Soviet Union collapsed and with it humanity’s drive to better humanity. Now we just try to make the next app to promote our degeneracy like Candy Crush 13 or Shindlerblacked - Black transgender dating for old Jews.

Most of that progress was made by you Germans actually. German scientists and engineers produced super advanced technology compared to other nations. Think of the u-boat, the v2 rocket and jet engine or think about how a single german panzer tank could obliterate dozens of enemy tanks. This was, of course, high standard german-quality engineering combined with the miraculous system of national socialism witch saw german rise from the dirt. from the most poor and poverty stricken country in Western Europe at the time it became the most technologically advanced, most prosperous country perhaps in the world. All of this despite a world wide economic depression at the time.

In fact, after the war, soviets and Americans took handfuls of german scientists back with them, along with their technology and knowledge. The space race would not be possible without the help of the advanced german technology.

oh look, a wehraboo.
lmao those germies are so cool and smart, they invented everything, amirite? xD

It is a myth. Most post 1945 stuff was done by Americans and Russians.

>no hurdle, no leap

>Why did humanity not advance after the Soviet Union fell?
The cold war required both sides to be conservative. The soviets were conservative with culture and the Americans were conservative with their resources. On the flip side, the soviets sucked at being conservative with their resources and spent it on shitty space exploration projects. Americans on the other hand were shit at being conservative with culture.

It so happened that the Soviets crashed before the Americans because America pulled the greatest Houdini on the world - the petrodollar. Everyone thought the soviets lost without ever realizing the petrodollar was the true power of America - and not its economy.

Once America won, there was no longer a need for America to be conservative with its resources, and thus you see a western world that's neither conservative in culture, nor in resources.

Why's her face look stupid?

Good explanation. How do we ge everyone back on track? Mass brainwashing?

I think about this daily.

I don't like the soviets much (and recently started to dislike the present-day USA-stan also) but you can't argue against the observation that Cold War did drive a bunch of innovation -- from satellites to Internet to space to biotech.

>Because the biggest transfer in capital from East to West happened.
>Because Americans corporations surged and established dominance
>The EU swept East and took all countries into its tentacles
>China rose to fill the gap
>American pissed away 2 trillion on wars instead of infrastructure, science and a Mars mission
>Demographic regression in Europe.

True. But its also true that many german scientists fled to those countries after the war and continued their work there

>operation paperclip
>manhatten project
Yea they kind of did. Don't let that distract you from that victim-complex of yours stemming from insecurity though!

look at that fucking dress my goodness. WHORE

Nobody fled anywhere. They were offered jobs in America, Britain and the Soviet Union and ended up just being immigrants. They helped those superpowers just as Jew immigrants from the 1930s. At the end they still were just a minor part of the whole damn machine.

Look at the wiki for interplanetary space exploration, we have been very productive over the last couple of decades. Multiple rovers on mars, US built Saturn probe that dropped a European built probe onto the surface of titan, Juno probe of Jupiter, Pluto flyby, lots and lots of other stuff. Apart from a few Mars attempts the Russians did almost no exploration of the outer solar system. From the asteroid belt outward it's apple pie all the way.

I also forgot the Hubble, soon to be launched James Webb telescope. Look up the relevant wikis and follow links, the post soviet period has been very active for the west.

Who is this milk maiden

Probably worth mentioning that all of the "Americans" the German scientists worked with were all European immigrants themselves, some came over only a couple of generations before the 1945 group.

>fled
>offered jobs
most of them were actually deported as prisoners and had to work on these things

German was incredibly far ahead in a lot of areas. Companies couldn't even control their patents after the Allies took control. All US universities were a joke pre WW2. They had capital to overtake European dominance.
Germany has continually destroyed Europe. It is the harbinger of the 4 horsemen. A truly dangerous abortion of a country

>Nobody fled anywhere. They were offered jobs in America, Britain and the Soviet Union and ended up just being immigrants.
They were snatched up:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Paperclip

And don't act like post-war Germany wasn't a place to flee from. East Germany was a general loot/murder/rape spree, whereas West Germany was intentionally, maliciously starved, to the point of having occupying troops and their families destroy food rather than allow it to fall into German hands:

Missions are getting scarcer and scarcer and repeating themselves. We get the xth rover on Mars, but no humans has left Earth orbit since 1972. We still use 1950s rocket engines to got to space. We are even regressing from the Shuttle to small space capsules.

Because there's no real competition. Humans thrive when they're competing against one another. In other words, conflict (or war).

It was done by Jews. Germany had a massive export of brainpower because US Intel got the names of the scientists and brought them over here. Next thing you know, we split an atom or 3.

And where is Europe leading? We are more pathetic than the Americans. We spend next to nothing on the military yet cannot finance any substantial missions. Europe should be leading not always bitching. Maybe Germany can spend that 18 billion surplus ye stingy pricks

What fucking a fucking trash argument this is. "German Engineering" during the war was all over engineered bullshit. Every 7th Tiger tank coming off the "line" was significantly different from the 7 before. They were totally incapable of maintaining any sort of quality control or production quotas. The Tiger tank for example wasn't produced in an assembly line like American Sherman tanks. Each Tiger tank was assembled on the spot with scaffolding around it (pic related) this is wildly inefficient. Shermans were produced on an automotive assembly line and as it rolled past each station parts were added.
As for "technology" the Americans and English were keeping pace or out pacing the Germans. Americans went from a cold start in 1942 (assume that war production starts in 1942 as word spread and governmental agencies start gearing up) and were producing airplanes, aircraft carriers and tanks equal to the rest of the world by the end of the year. Britain also was flying Jet planes during the war along with the American Ryan FR Fireball which was being trialed during the later stages of the war.
The one and only place German excelled over any nation was in rocketry. But this is only because of their arms treaties in the Interwar period. American and British doctrine was based around the bomber which was reusable unlike a missile. Had American doctrine need of missiles it easily could have been built. The B-29 however was more capable of delivering more payload in a single run than any missile of the era. The V-1 and V-2 are meme tier shit.

>How do we ge everyone back on track? Mass brainwashing?
We can't. We have let civilization collapse. It is the fate of all advanced civilizations. Since a society advances on the backs of others, the members of the society are no different from the slaves they live off of. However, the human brain is not equipped to understand this by default. By default, Americans think they're prosperous because of their effort. The brain will continue to correlate America's economic prosperity to American effort, and not for one second will it try to understand the petrodollar.

As time goes on, there's a mismatch between effort and results and once America loses control of the petrodollar, our society will come crashing down.

The degeneracy is bound to exist since we no longer really work for our wealth. It's given to us since we control the oil trade.

The difference is that back then it was just about landing on the Moon to show it was possible.

Today it is all about scientific advancement.

The amount of missions within our solar system and the things learnt have been a giant leap.

The same regarding computation and communication

Lack of competition.

Europeans have been a broken people for mamy decades. I never said humanity was advanced by us.

Tiger isn't even that impressive. It's just a Panzer IV with a big gun. Shit tracks, no slopped armor, high silhouette, bad manufacturing etc.

Invented a lot more than your kind, Jarshiviquandefonda. Shame they're being replaced by you though.

Because the competition died and the winner became unmotivated.

CIA niggers

Well the earlier Panzer III and very early models of the Panzer IV were totally outclassed by the French tanks of the era. The S-35 and Char B1 were unbeatable in tank fights. No German tank could crack even the side or rear armor let alone the frontal plates. The tank had some good design things going for it armor wise and with it's 88mm cannon. However it was full of trash ideas, serving the tracks would entail yanking off the frontal wheel to get to the one behind. The power steering was a waste of time and added more complexity to a vehicle when the goal during the war should have been to REDUCE complexity. American doctrine was based around simple designs that were effective and could be easily manufactured in large quantity.

Because it was a load of made up bollocks.

Not picking a fight here but liquid propulsion has evolved quite a lot over time. The shuttle was a bad idea, it cost more per round than the Saturn V and delivered about a third of the weight to orbit. And a well designed capsule recovery is inherently safer than a shuttle.

If progress is slow it's because European, Russian, and US programs are always chronically underfunded.

It did. You're getting civilized by muslim sharia law.

If only they had invented peanut butter. That's what's really important!

Fuck off ape

The west used to compete against an honourable enemy and ideology. It was not race-based, many of ours were communists, many of theirs fled here to live as capitalists.

Now we compete against Chinks. Chinks are all race based. We can't quietly applaud and smile when the chinks do well, as they plot the destruction of our race.

>Not picking a fight here but liquid propulsion has evolved quite a lot over time

the isp went from 320 to 360 for kerolox and that is really the max you can squeeze out of it. Hydrogen has been pretty much abandoned as propulsion. And we don’t care abput anything else really that has beem proposed... we are regressing really fast.

There were dozens of nuclear powered missions in a single year back in the days, now we get 1 in 10 years...

This. And theres too many people living too comfortably now. As tech advances the bar for entry to beginners is raised as things get more complex and require more learning to not only replicate but continue advancing.

Copyright laws and other kike law manipulation.

>Shindlerblacked - Black transgender dating for old Jews

am i out of the loop? i need to get involved in this

Pretty pathetic at this rate you really star to question if we can get to mars by 2030.
At least Elon is making some progress

haha yes praise space jesus my fellow ribbitor!

I'm sorry you don't like the internet and home computing. I am sorry you don't like cheap electronics and a higher standard of living.
Maybe we can send some expensive rockets to giant barren rocks in space..
Would that make you feel better?

Who is this brunette goddess in OP?

How is 14 hours of constant internet usage helping humanity? How are we advancing when kids spend 3 hours a day masturbating to furry porn?

>pointing out Musk is doing good now makes me a redditor

just fucking end yourself mutt

Demi Rose. Start to know your sluts, bro.

I think healthy society needs two things
A common enemy
And a struggle for something greater then individual
If you look back on the past and on all great strides humanity has done it was aligned with these two rules

Probably because there was no need, and WAY less funding
It went from propaganda driven (and gvmt shekels), to mostly public (people buying the products) companies

because, germanfriend, the "cold war" was just an experiment to see which system would destroy cultures and degenerate their people faster. to the surprise of the globalists, hardline communism actually kept people more fit and less degenerate and therefore less willing to be emancipated from their cultural identity. the western model of decadence and excess on the other hand, people practically threw their cultures and identities under the bus to get a shot at.

russia and the usa were never enemies. they have always been controlled by their {{{masters}}}
it takes both an initial and an opposing force to reshape a ball of clay. you must control both sides to truly change the world.

Fucking muriturd standards have reached a new low.

Seriously?

Because the people who ran the USSR all moved to the West and are currently running it into the ground to fulfill their goals.

Because commies drive innovation.
