Watch Abenobashi

>watch Abenobashi
>it's genuinely funny, very pretty and full of slapstick jokes and unconventional direction
>look up who was in charge of it
>Imaishi, Sushio, Yoshinari bros

sasuga Trigger

Never heard of it, but that old man in a bikini on top of a killer whale put it on my to-watch list.

the hotdog scene alone just screams trigger

Arumi-chan was so sexy.

>it's genuinely funny, very pretty and full of slapstick jokes and unconventional direction

And soul crushing NTR

>the hotdog scene alone just screams trigger
It mostly screamed "fuck' for me

It has great porn.

>pick up Abenobashi
>first episode is genuinely subtle and heartwarming
>second episode is piss jokes

>there are people on this board who never heard of abenobashi
is this what old age feels like?

Abenobashi had a GAINAX END.

Next thing you know Sup Forums is going to "discover" Mahoromatic.

>mfw anno did the OP animation
>twf Saber = Mahoro
>wtf that ending

Hey there cowboy and cowgirl how the fuck are ya?

>first episode
feels like FLCL, did I just find a second FLCL?
>second ep and forward
trash. Too random, too plotless, too poor taste...

I don't think I have ever seen a show that got my hopes so high only to completely disappoint me in the end.

Why don't you have a seat over there?

Yoshinari has a brother?

Such big talent for a forgettable series

The Elvis looking fucker at the hotdog stand dropping the F bomb nearly every other word was pretty funny. They got Murika down to a T.

...

Don't mind if I do, Chris Handsome.

no. this is what it feels like to interact with a normie.

Too bad the ending kinda sucked.

"You need to learn to let go and accept what happens in life to become a better person"
"Lol no, here's magic asspull that makes everything alright".

Second half of that episode as a whole felt like a reference to TTGL. Even though it predates TTGL by several years

I can actually live with them not going for that generic as fuck message.

>no one mentioning Kenji Tsuruta in charge of character designs and the manga

i understand Trigger's the hot shit now but c'mon

needs more doujins

Really really liked the first episode, dropped after the second.

That manga didn't have any laughs or balls insane shit to break up the "Everything's fucked and it's time to grow up" melodrama.

I read the manga before watching the anime, it was a lot of fun but I don't remember Tsuruta's art I think I might have read a different version.

I watched it for Arumi.

>or the HOD way

Why was the 2000s secretly the underrated golden age of anime bros?
