The story starts in a Medieval fantasy Land with 2 major warring nations. 2 close brothers are separated at a young age due to their village being destroyed, both think the other had died. Each brother follows an army in order to get stronger to avenge eachother's deaths. Both of them end up in differing sides of the conflict. Fast forward a few years, the two of them are now military commanders. The two of them meet on the battlefield one day and recognize each other. The series follows the two of them leading armies into battle against each other, gaining no ground in the process, as they both struggle with having to fight against their each other. Final episode is them finally squaring off in a sword fight to the death where they both strike each other down and die.
Series ends with the 2 of them sitting by a campfire together

>Bombastic elderly veteran truck driver who's been driving for 50 years. Takes the job not so much for the money but because he wants to leave trucking to the younger generation and go out with a bang. Worked alongside many of the trucking legends of his generation and always wanted to become one himself.
>Girl who's younger sister of MC. Shy and unsure of herself but the most technically proficient out of all the truckers. Takes the job not because of the money but because she wants to prove to her older brother that she's grown and is capable of looking after herself now
With the exception of the generic outlaws and monsters which roam the wastes there would be two primary antagonists for the antagonists to overcome:

>Suspended several times for incompetency these two bumbling detectives: one a short fiery policewoman and the other a lanky serene policeman track the antagonists in their squad bike after the antagonists unwittingly caused a huge pileup in their rush to leave the town where they all first received the job. The plucky policewoman desperately wishes to catch them if she wishes to be promoted while the cool as ice policeman simply goes along with his passionate partner. Despite their best efforts the duo always seem to just be behind the antagonists as they're frequently left to deal with the disasters they leave in their wake.
>Delivery Empire
>While the delivery trade was once a way for anyone to get rich independent truck drivers are now dying out as a large company has managed to monopolize most of the industry. The mysterious boss of this delivery empire is ruthless and if he cannot buy out the few remaining independent truckers he will get rid of them through less savory means. While on the road the antagonists are also pursued by company truckers who, while better equipped than many independent truckers, lack the skill and nerve that only one born to trucking can have
So the way I see the show it's basically a mix of action adventure combined with a bit of mecha stuff and slice of life too. The story will be largely episodic with some episodes focusing on individual characters and their backstories and others on the larger adventure. The number of protagonists per episode will vary as some of them are split off from the main group and forced to work with one or two other protagonists while others will involve the entire group. Others still will focus on a single character. Throughout the show the characters will all bond with one another through their shared hardships.

OK, so its an anime similar to Toy Story, but with your characters in an MMORPG, which has become a fairly trendy setting. Plot is, once you log off, your character doesn't disappear into the void, he gains his own conciousness and starts interacting either with other NPCs, players or awakened characters. It could be a deconstruction, like it shows how the characters don't know they're being controlled by some unseen gods, or they know it and feel all the damage and deaths.
Sounds redundant and stupid. Have it so they don't recognize each other until the very end, make it Shakespearey.
