It's fucking terrible, makes a worse watch than Super rof overall. Fuck Jiren barely hving lines and standing around refusing to fight while literal fodders keep up hogging screen time with uninteresting powers and battles.
By comparison, yes, the recruitment episodes were better than the current ones on average. They by themselves were weaker in turn than the exhibithion matches that happened just before, making the arc overall be nothing but a downhill ride.
