take a long break away from the internet, and 4chinz specifically. delete or stop using any social media. stop browsing celeb news or current event news. get as much sunlight as you can, depends where you live. get at least 20 mins of exercise per day. it's not hard. stop eating sugar, wheat, dairy, and eat more meat, more fats, more veg and fruits. if you're slav or russian or have med blood like me, drink at least 1 glass of wine, or 1 vodka shot per day. this will help reduce tension and improve bloodflow.

I think my general problem is that I'm still not happy despite being social, having a GF, a job and so forth. I think it might have something to do with me not working out, perhaps, or just not getting enough sleep. Does anyone have any tips for a 193cm and 85kg user to get some gains and to sleep well?

Heavy cardio. Exercise and get your heart rate up to 180-190 for at least 20 minutes. Depression is often caused by a lot of cortisol which is a stress fight or flight hormone. Doing heavy cardio will release this and make you feel better

I don't like the world around me. My country is slowly descending into a left-leaning liberal state where social media attention rotten the political and philosophical core of the nation. I feel as if my life has been a lie until my mid 20´s. My parents taught me that altruism and socialism were the highest goods, but I see now that people are different and that you'll have to fight to get your share. I think my depression is existential and the result of several years of coercion into an ideology to which I no longer subscribe.

Cycling, because it's more fun than running. And less impact for joints, more healthy. And you can make as cardio intensive as you want.

Like others have said, you should stop fapping, going to the internet and start scheduling your day.

Wheb you get up, take a oen and a paper and write what do you want to do in the day.

And when you have time, make a list for wjat do you want to accomplish this year, month, week (all of them) and try to be as specific and as realistic as possible.
Do you want to get laid, start working out, develop your conversational skills and go out more.
Do you want to enjoy life and have nothing that gets in the way, save somw money and go backpacking through your country, or your commonwealth (in Europe you can backpack and sleep in young hostels so you can meet interesting people and enjoy).


Man life is very beautiful, even if for you now it seems dark, it will get better if you are willing to put the effort to do it.
Hope you get better and start enjoying what life has to offer.

And a last advice would be to check with your doctor before enganging in all of this.

I'm Scandinavian, Norwegian to be specific. We are doing exceptionally well compared to a vast majority of nations, but my primary concern regards how a select few mold public perception within the mainstream social media platforms, such as our government-owned paper/radio/tv-stations. I die in my dreams ~100 times a year. Sometimes it's an accident, oftentimes I'm killed, sometimes quick, sometimes brutal, sometimes self inflicted and other times by somebody I love. Would be willing to bet my actual death will involve immolation. Really, it's a personification of hell.

Big 3 weight lifts - Bench Press, Barbell Squat, Deadlift. Then elliptical machine on high level for 30 min. Little impact on knees, ankles. Also swimming laps.

Sounds like you’re depressed because you’re not living to your potential. Doesn’t seem like you have many lifestyle issues. Maybe you could work out more, but I doubt that alone is what has you depressed enough to be posting about it here. Maybe become active in groups that would help your country move in the direction you would like to see it go. Find something that gives you inspiration to fight for what you want.

I mean I have a "project" currently, learning a language (idk if that counts); it does help to be a tiny bit more motivated overall

I've been thinking about trying that since I spend most of my day indoors. What would be a reccomended amount to do? I know that their otc, but I used to take zinc supplements, and then found out that at the amount I was taking them at it could lead to neurological issues because of a copper imbalance or something if done over a long period of time.
