I'm going to kill a bunch of people because my definition of hero is different to yours

>I'm going to kill a bunch of people because my definition of hero is different to yours

Is this the most retarded character to date?

Who are you quoting?

Myself

>I'm going to kill a bunch of different heroes because definition of heroism is different from theirs
fixed that for you

Considering his ideals resonate with not only characters in universe but also readers I'd say he isn't.

>people
No they were full fledged heroes who were more than capable to defend themselves.

>I'm gonna kill a bunch of wage thieves because they aren't actually heroes.

Which, when you look at the setting, is actually a pretty valid complaint.

You're the retarded one. A hero's primary goal and ambition is to save people. If a "hero"s goal is to get a license just so they can use their quirk to suck cocks in the porn industry they're no better than shit.

So he's basically The Punisher.

You're a sociopath if you're defending Stain

Explain your reasoning user.

He clearly enjoys hurting/killing people and gives himself a justification to do it. This is why he attracts so many scumbags and criminals. They too love harming and hurting people. Now imagine making them feel like what they're doing is in fact good.

Also killing people just because they disagree with you is wrong

>people
Again

>loves harming and killing people
>spares iida at first and avoids killing deku
>even saves deku

wew lad, you're retarded

Stupid cunt didn't realise that in a world where everyone has super powers "heroes" are little more then a over-glorified special police force.

So basically, he killed a bunch of cops who risk their lifes every day to protect public order because they dared getting paid and maybe acted a bit haughty, calling themselfes "Heroes"

>It's okay to kill someone if he keeps a gun in his house

>>people
what is with this stupid distinction? heroes are people

Murdering them isn't really.
And ultimately he was attacking them based on his own presumptions since Iida's bro was actually a pretty nice guy who jst so happened

Don't be a cop (hero) if you don't want the responsibility.
Heroes are beings that have accepted the terms of the job, don't cry when you get fucked later on.

Yep. The reality is he's just a whiny childish retard, and other characters in the series thinking "oh no, maybe he's right" just means the fucking author is one too. Claiming you're in the right in attacking people because 'they call themselves hero's but are actually just in it for a paycheck' is to begin with retarded, but also is extra retarded since his actions prove he didn't even bother to check if that was the case, just applied it to every single hero knowing nothing about them, and attacked any he found.

Who has the better justification, Stain or Garou ?

>Yfw he attacked Iida's bro because he was hunting for information about his primary target.

Stain was fucking retarded.
Who cares if the "heroes" do it for a paycheck or to get famous? At the end of the day they are saving people anyway.
Maybe if we were shown that the heroes allow their greed to hinder their work Stain would have a point but that's not the case.

T.speedwatcher.

What? We are never shown a hero neglecting to save people because he is greedy, an attention whore or shit like that.
Even Endeavor (the biggest asshole to ever call himself a hero) can't be criticized for not saving someone or neglecting his duties because of his ego.

>attention whore
iirc Uwabami (Snake Hero) was shown, and she pretty much only took Kendou and Momo because they were cute and would look good on TV.

We do see attention whores the women heroes doing that photo shoot all fucking day.
I haven't seen one neglecting to do their job yet tough I'm sure if someone needed saving during the photo shoot one of the whores might go out and do something.

Stains just mad because there are too many heroes doing it as a 'job'. He's just another idiot villain. In a setting where half the worlds population has a quirk that could be used for combat there's really no alternative to hero agencies. I'm not even far enough into the series to make an opinion on international hero politics.

It would be nice if this series were more like the boys

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_(comics)

They give a good depiction of a society with bad heroes that are obsessed with image and their egos. It does get very edgy and grimdark at times and I get that this is a shounen series but I feel like Stain was introduced way too early.

Show some corrupt heroes or heroes abusing their privilege and then introduce Stain so that we actually feel conflicted.

Yeah during downtime. Not once shown to actually neglect hero work because of photo shoots or whatever.

And? My point is that at the end of the day even the attention whore heroes are willing to risk their lives to save people so Stain isn't complaining about heroes not doing heroic shit, he is whining about their motivations.
That's like saying that a firefighter who puts himself at risk every day saving people doesn't deserve praise because he is doing it for the attention, the fame, etc.

We haven't seen shit outside of Japan but the spin-off introduced Captain Celebrity, a Superman expy who is the #1 hero in USA. Also he is a fucking arrogant asshole.

>heroes save people
>but i'll kill them anyways because they are just saving people for money

seems pretty retarded desu

Consistent theme is that the "villains" are just people with quirks who have mental illnesses(Twice, Magne, Toga, etc) or who have quirks that are poorly suited for heroics. Like they established in the last illegals comic, heroes came into being without the government. The government only stepped in so that it could label some people as heroes and others as villains. Objectively, these categories don't exist in reality.

The society they live in is pretty sick to begin with. You can't use your quirk unless you have the governments approval and risk your life daily as a hired enforcer. It's almost like being banned from laughing unless you have a permit. Society isn't prepared to deal with people who have quirks so they've created these artificial categories and laws to hold people back from their full potential.

Deku is going to change the laws so that the hero system and rankings come to an end. I feel like One Punch man is going to a similar place.

Sense there were no organized villians of note and we saw like ten superheros beat up one rando asshole in the street...
AND with how much of an asshole endeaver is shown to be...
I'd say an antihero/antivillain who hates evil supers and even is shown to, through virtue of being scary and stabby as fuck, make the crime in any neighborhood he appears in drop like a stone is logical.
That and the bad ass loner who hates the supposedly(sense hori has in fact shown very little about it)corrupt establishment resonates with the audience.

You're right.
I think that a quirk society should allow people to use their power within reason.
Some kid who can blow up cars just by starring really hard should be made to train in the use of it and be forbidden from using it in an irresponsible way.
The hero license shouldn't be the only way to legally use their powers.

The entire licensing system could and should have been built up into something akin to a powerlevel or bounty kind of thing.

Dropped BnHA a couple of years ago after it pulled the "edgelords attack during a test" twice in a row and the main villain appeared and not much happened.

Has it gotten any interesting?

Shit doesn't save lives. Heroes do, no matter their motivations.

Garou didn't kill people because of his autism unlike Stain.

UNITED STATES OF SMASH
Go read the manga.

Why wasn't Stain shitting on All Might who is the personification of "i sold my hero status for $$$"? There is so many All Might merchandisce that he should be in the top 10 list of the richest people in japan. All Might children pajamas, All Might snacks, All Might soft drinks, All Might action figures, All Might posters, All Might towels and the list goes on.

Not really. I had the same issue that it was just repeating story points. The newer arc is even worse since it pulls Naruto-tier hamfisted flashbacks and the villain is totally uninteresting.

We had the best fight in the entire manga right after that.

Fuck off and stop making threads, Patreak.

Ok assholes here goes an example so that your little fucking brains understand.
>You are a very sexy and virgin girl about to die
>Two heros come to your rescue
>Would you rather be saved by Deku or Mineta?

See? Deku will save you because it is the right thing to do, Mineta will obviously touch your boobs and ass, hell maybe he will even stick some fingers in in the process.

Maybe you'll laugh, but I, as a girl, agree with Stain.

I would rather be saved period.
Also, we have never seen a hero in BnHA who abused his position to do something like that.

Why are you even replying to him?

>filename
Son of a whore user, l'm at the office.

>Heroes are beings that have accepted the terms of the job

What kind of fucking edgy 10 year old thought process is that. Heros are people who have chosen to help others in spite of that potential harm to themselves. That isn't a justification to kill them. You don't run over a crossing guard because welp they knew what could happen when they took the job. Actual autism.

They're not cops user. Cops work largely without recognition or individuality. Heroes are public figures, earning a fortune and gaining huge respect and love on an individual level. Many heroes would do what they do for the glory, not out of a duty to do what is right

>Show some corrupt heroes or heroes abusing their privilege and then introduce Stain so that we actually feel conflicted.
I guess Endeavor would be the best example, but he's a great hero despite being a terrible person, so really, Stain is completely full of shit and the only reason why people think he's better than any other villain is because he sells himself so well.

>tfw l'm getting my Pop Step commission this week.
Cant wait desu

Why was Midoriya scared of All Might's "killer look" and even remembered Stain during the exam fight against him?

Should the greatest hero who calls himself the Symbol of Peace really be able to replicate the murderous intent of some murderer?

That was the whole point of the test.

I don't really understand but if it's gonna be explained in the next episode then fine by me.

They've already explained it you double nigger.

it wasn't murderous intent

it was
>KONO PRESSURE...!?

Because All might is a ruthless killer, he just doesn't know it yet.

The whole point of the hero society is to identify the people that are the most dangerous to society and give them a job and purpose so they don't turn into genocidal maniacs. The "villains" in this series are all incompetent morons who were too stupid to pass hero school and so are barely a threat. The real threat is heroes that go rogue like Stain.

"It's charisma"

Literally the line they used. All Might and Stain both have it, and their beliefs make them larger than life. It wasn't so much the "killing" part of "killing intent", but rather more the "intent"

KONO PRESSURE should definitely be different than murderous intent and a hero like Midoriya should recognize that immediately

Midoriya hasn't even figured out he's better at kicks yet at that point

It's hard to tell if he's a slow learner or not. In the time of the series, he's probably a fast reader, but to the audience it feels like he figures things out at an average to slow rate.

which is why he's the fucking bad guy. no one argues that stain wasn't fucking crazy, but his critique of their society isn't invalid, just the way he went about telling his message. There are heroes who do what they do not to help others, but for fame, glory and wealth.

Someone who does heroic deeds just to be famous is not a true hero, for a hero would do those things regardless. And stain believed that treating those individuals, the 'fakes', with such reverence was wrong. This belief is not complete nonsense. No one would listen to him so he kept going further and further in order to get his message across, eventually settling on getting rid of all the fakes himself. He was insane and a fanatic, but not completely without logic.

Midoriya is a fucking loser and possibly the worst Jump protagonist right now.

>what is Gon
>what is Boruto

All Might was acting.
Heroes are half cop, half pro wrestler.
This was just All Might playing the heel, and he did a good enough job at it to seem like a real villain.

Neither of them are as pathetic as Izuku is.

You are goddamn right

It's okay to kill a cop because he wanted to be one

>Gon
>protagonist
His story is over. Kurapika is the protagonist now.

Of course I'm right, Izuku is a beta faggot that constantly dick rides Bakugou whenever he can.

no he didn't. He stopped wanting to be a hero when he realized that noone actually cared about doing good, but rather gaining wealth and fame.

Being a nice guy doesn't make you a hero. Ingenium wasn't suited to being a hero. He's a kind enough person from what we saw but he was only a hero because he comes from a long line of heroes and felt that he had to be, not because is a genuinely selfless person or cares about helping others.

If being a hero wasn't a well paid career path with a lot of fame and pride behind it, then Ingenium wouldn't have been a hero.

Not only that, but Captain Celebrity doesn't give a shit about collateral damage and just wants to be flashy and get attention. Which is why he's neck deep in scandal and legal troubles.

I'd honestly guess that, like most heroes, his name is tied to his quirk. He probably gains power based on how much attention he gets, which is why he's such a narcissistic twat. It'd be a good reason as to why AfO hasn't gone after his quirk and a good way for him to fall further from grace or whatever while hiding away in Japan.

A bit though I remember Tomura commenting on how stain's outings actually helped lower crime in the cities he was most active

I thought this guy would go full ZA WARUDO but instead he had some gay slow movements quirk. I'm disappointed.

Pretty much. If he also killed villains and changed his motive to just wanting to get rid of the cancer of society that he would be fine. Otherwise he is just a worse Zoom/Reverse Flash.

You're assuming he hasn't donated the rights for merch into the public domain.

>If he also killed villains and changed his motive to just wanting to get rid of the cancer of society that he would be fine
But he does. They explicitly state that the crime rate drops wherever he goes because of that.

Yeah, guy looks like he's pretty much fucking broke.
He's probably keeping UA and several orphanages around the country going with the sales of his merch alone.

>thinking someone would have a broken quirk to stop time

wew

Stop being so salty, Shigaraki

Garou is a real softie on the inside and can't actually bring himself to kill people.
Black Sperm was right, he couldn't give up his humanity.

You'd better post it when you do.

8/10 idealism
1/10 execution

>That time you "forgot" your underwear a whole month during winter?
>IT WAS ME, ALLMIGHT, I WAS THAT UNDERWEAR

Ah, Ennis, you've done it again.

hes a zealot
those are literally the broades highestemotional appeal there it

>Gon
Pitou's head won't be put back together, user

Please, there are always shitty axebait series running and they almost always have the shittiest protagonists

>"edgelords attack during a test
It wasn't a test you fucking dumbass they were at a summer training camp and they were after a student

He'd have a point if heroes commonly abused their privileges to rape and kill but the only one who's presumably done such is Endeavor

Well he still has more to come, we need to find out what happens when he hits with the Hour hand.

we already have somebody with atomic matter manipulation.
time stop isn't too far off on the broken scale especially if it only lasts for like a millesecond or something

>Who has the better justification, Stain or Garou ?
Definitely Garou.
No matter how much of a dick Endeavor is at times he's not a sociopath who can't even be assed to put in a little effort to save millions like Metal Knight or even as corrupt as Tatsumaki who literally only cares for her sister and Blast.

I dropped it at the school tournament shit, honestly felt cringy af and I couldn't handle it, but I guess it's just me getting old, if I was 15 I would love it, I bet, also allmight alone is better than the whole cast

Tournament arcs have been stale for years now. This one felt pretty low tier.

>also allmight alone is better than the whole cast
except Mirio.
but that's to be expectedsince Mirio is basically Almight but more ballsy.

>I dropped it at the school tournament shit,
How to tell your opinion is worthless
Thank fuck everyone disagrees with your dumbass

I am gonna drop this fucking show soon too. It started great, I loved the idea of Deku breaking his bones and shit. It made it heroic and different from most stuff I have seen.

But now he no longer breaks anything in his body, he is basically becomimg Naruto which just means this is shit. (I only watch the anime though, so Idk if he will break his fucking arm again)

It doesn't matter if their goals are wealth and fame when they are still SAVING AND HELPING PEOPLE. Especially since they still do so at risk to their own well being.
