Depends on what you are looking for! I might suggest something like One Punch Man to start, maybe Prison School for comedy. Nichijou also works well too.

This is probably bait, but unironically anime like Naruto is good for entering in. If you like it watch some shounens like Hajime no Ippo and HxH ( both no masterpieces, but are very enjoyable).
If you don't like it try something more stylized like Cowboy Bebop or Samurai Champloo.
