WHEN: march 24, 2018 WHO: you! send $1 or whatever you can afford WHY: fucking gunbanners are doing some giant coordinated leftist demonstration protest bullshit on that day. all the highschool 'activists' are coordinating a school walkout nationwide on march 24. when the headlines read the NRA was donated 10 million dollars in one day they will shit their pants. we can also hijack and piggyback off their own social media posts to get the word out.
wikipedia on NRA ILA: >Observers and lawmakers see the NRA as one of the top three most influential lobbying groups in Washington, D.C.[10][11] The NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) is its lobbying arm, which manages its political action committee, the Political Victory Fund (PVF). Over its history the organization has influenced legislation, participated in or initiated lawsuits, and endorsed or opposed various candidates.

I donate monthly to Amnesty and the Red Cross already. And I donate ad hoc to various causes that are important to at home and abroad. School shootings maybe the easiest social issue America ever had to solve. You can put a man on the moon but can't take guns from the hands of lunatic teens? Pathetic.

and I don't see one Armalite Rifle-15 in the whole pile

I'm sure there are other money hungry organizations out there but the NRA has to be one of the most active in soliciting donations.

what you idiot leftists dont realize is the NRA is people. im not getting paid to do this. im just a gun owner in a cuck state and dont want to see the rest of america fucked over. i posted other gun orgs for ppl to donate to. i just recommended the NRA first because they are the face of guns in america. they are the biggest and most powerful lobby group and legislative challenger for leftists. so naturally leftists demonize it the most

Good people can own a thousand firearms and never harm a soul. Bad people can kill a thousand with their hands alone. Firearms are neither difficult to acquire on the black market nor are they difficult to manufacture yourself. Gun laws are impossible to enforce and only empower those who would target the old, small, weak and infirm to deprive them of their rights.

exactly. why do leftists never discuss the real solution? criminal control. if you cant trust someone with a gun to the point where you will deny them a sale because of their criminal history, what in the fuck are they doing out in society mixed among the general public?
Parker Morales
ive been trying, i started it a couple days ago and tried to keep one going. i got the idea from a gun forum on the normienet. the idea is spreading on gun and hunting forums right now so i figured id bring it here

Joshua Kelly
exactly what are you gonna do un-invent the firearm
Ethan Wright
>good people will always drive well >bad people will wander into traffic and cause deaths >therefore you shouldn't bother with traffic laws That's how stupid you sound.
As for the rest of the arguments, they're equally stupid. You could justify the sales of landmines with that argument, and more persuasively, too. >hey you can make your own IED, so why wouldn't you allows the sale of mines and grenades? They're all the same.
As for buying guns on the black market, you need to have some connections and a lot of money. You can't buy an AR-15 in a country with gun control for $2000. It would cost you $20k. Good luck even finding someone who has them to sell, especially if you're a teen school shooter who's autistic as fuck. You'd be like kryptonite to any illegal arms dealer. Can't believe you're making arguments a silly as these.
Jeremiah Foster
The point with 3D printers is that they illustrate the futility of regulating inanimate objects, even when said objects can be used for sinister purposes.
Aaron Brown
That's not my argument, retard
Luis Nguyen
how much of those do you want to bet never got melted down?
Jaxson Foster
the rates of recidivism are high. if you commit a violent crime you are extremely likely to do it again. it boggles my mind how progressive judges and lawmakers make it possible for violent criminals to walk free after a few years on good behavior in prison. then try to take our guns when they shoot up an innocent store clerk some time later.
heres a thought experiment you can pose to leftists: should people who are banned from buying guns because of criminal records be allowed to use the internet?
Bentley Barnes
When you say "ban guns", the equivalent isn't "traffic laws", it's "banning cars". Accidental death and injury at shooting ranges is extremely uncommon.
Land mines, after being armed, detonate without interference from the owner of the land mine. A firearm that does the same is a mechanical failure and due to negligence, not intent.
There are plenty of cases here in Canada of some asshole doing a gang-related shooting in Toronto or Montreal, getting arrested, charged with unlicensed ownership of prohibited firearms, given a court-ordered firearm prohibition and then two years later they're out on the street and get arrested for shooting people with prohibited firearms that they are prohibited from owning. Do you know what the judge gives them? A *SECOND* firearms prohibition. Because the first one worked so well.
Jace Ross
>You can manufacture functional firearms with nothing but hand files and blocks of steel, if you want.
Yeah good luck doing a school shooting with one of those, idiot. Why not just legalize nukes? After all, one can already make homemade radioactive dirty bombs with no technical skill and the right materials. Let's have Pentagon designed tactical nukes for sale to the public. They're all the same anyway, right?
Not responding to you anymore. You're about the dumbest motherfucker on /pol A 14 year old could outdebate you.
Kayden Rivera
I have no intent to harm anyone. What firearms I own is completely irrelevant.
>Still conflating indiscriminate weapons like nukes with very discriminate weapons like firearms
Calling me a fool does not strengthen your argument.
Carson Cox
oh ok so those muslims in france with full auto AK 47s just made them appear out of thin air?
>As for the rest of the arguments, they're equally stupid. You could justify the sales of landmines with that argument, and more persuasively, too. >>hey you can make your own IED, so why wouldn't you allows the sale of mines and grenades? They're all the same. thats not the same at all. guns are so prolific and abundant currently that if you outlawed them overnight, there would be hundreds of millions and millions of them still out on the "black market". by contrast, land mines are exceedingly rare because they were never adopted or used by the general public as a means of protection.
secondly, thats the same stupid argument leftists always make. "DUR WELL EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE NUKES THEN LOL" well no, there is a huge difference between a gun and a landmine. guns are a practical means of self defense, obviously landmines are niche and nearly impossible to use legally in a self defense situation without huge liability or collateral damage. landmines and grenades would have value for the primary purpose of the 2nd amendment though, which is as a deterrent to tyrannical regime.
thirdly, explosive landmines and grenades are legal to purchase, sell, and own in america with the appropriate paperwork, because there are concerns with storage in proximity to inhabbited structures, accidental explosions and fires, etc so again, your point is retarded and invalid and shows you dont know anything about our countrys laws.
gun control really just comes down to control, and who has it. the people or the government. you believe you need other people to tell you how to live and who to rely on. you are incapable of self reliance. you espouse rhetoric on banning guns because of all the untrustworthy people, but out the other end of your mouth complain that we keep all the violent blacks locked up in jail unfairly and demand criminals be released. classic left

The Manchester Arena bombing was an Islamist terror attack in Manchester, United Kingdom. On 22 May 2017 a shrapnel-laden homemade bomb was detonated as people were leaving Manchester Arena following a concert by the American singer Ariana Grande. Twenty-three people were killed, including the attacker,
>shrapnel-laden homemade bomb
so just to be clear, you are equating a semi-automatic rifle with a nuclear bomb?
Eli Myers
>thirdly, explosive landmines and grenades are legal to purchase, sell, and own in america with the appropriate paperwork
Your country is truly beyond salvation. You convinced me.
Adam Reed
The bomb used at the Boston Marathon was a pressure cooker, fireworks and nails.

>3D printers >futility of regulating inanimate objects,
This point pops up a lot and I don't get it. 3D printers use shitty plastic and it's technically possible to make guns but they're shit. Worse than a pipe gun. And you still need ammunition for them.
But even worse than that -- and what slays this 3D printing guns bullshit completely -- is that we already have privately owned CNC machines. We have metal milling equipment in private hands. This is gunsmith level machines ready to be used. You can make a "real gun" in a metal capable CNC machine, not just some plastic piece of shit, and it's NOT REGULATED.
This hoopla about 3D printers from both government and citizens just boggles my mind, as if nobody realizes much "worse" shit has been available to consumers for decades.
Charles Gray
You can own or manufacture explosives here in Canada too, buddy. Have you considered that maybe whether something is legal or not doesn't correlate with it being misused by evil people?
Daniel White
3D printing with plastic is useful for certain internal parts (like ones that can make rifles fully automatic) or illegal stocks and grips. Not enough to build a serious weapon alone, like you said, but still enough to make something rather illegal.
Jaxson Morgan
It's just another option. It's more than adequate for a 10/22 receiver, for instance, but a guy on /k/ took it a step further, scaled it to account for shrinkage, and then investment cast it out of aluminum.
Alexander Jackson
Looks reliable
Zachary Jackson
do you believe information should be regulated? should the internet be censored? what do you not get? the point comes up and is often made mainly because of cost and democratization. CNC and milling equipment machines are exceedingly difficult to use (at least in the past, these days that is changing), and quite expensive. the 3D printer represents affordability and technology which is plug and play to the most basic, untrained user. they may use shitty plastic now but technology is always getting better. have you considered that metal milling equipment might one day be just as cheap, and have plug and play software which allows you to download blueprints from the internet and start cutting? information has become democratized with the advent of the internet. its only inevitable as time progresses that just about everything will be available at the touch of a button
Jayden White
Now that is an interesting take. I'd be a little worried about the durability of self-casted aluminium but it's still nice.
Logan Cook
Does fluting the slide actually do anything, or is it an excuse for the manufacturer to jack up the price another $1k?
Jackson Williams
now imagine educated, or even skilled 1st world nation citizens with access to decent machines could do. youtu.be/sDppu3Mcj6E
Charles Howard
The guys over at FOSSCAD also have been testing out using it as the basis for silicone molds that they then use to cast using resin, and that was pretty successful.
Strictly speaking, 3D printers are CNC machines. The prices for hobbyist routers and mills have been dropping steadily and the quality going up. It's a good time to be a hobbyist.
Lower slide weight (affects the recoil characteristics and how strong a load needs to be in order to cycle the firearm), better cooling, looks cool...
Sebastian Johnson
>so just to be clear, you are equating a semi-automatic rifle with a nuclear bomb?
It's the underlying principle that matters. Choosing a weapon as extreme as a nuclear weapon was an attempt to illustrate the principle, which seems to have eluded you. Choose a less destructive weapon but one that is still completely absurd for the public to have access too and you'll get my point. My fear with people like you is that there is no weapon that's too extreme. Apparently you can already own grenades and landmines... Why not go for an RPG? Or mortars? And from there other missile weapons, including motorized ones, like tanks? Where do you draw the line? I don't think you would. If laws permitted tank ownership, and a politician wanted to limit their sales, you'd probably protest loudly, saying not all tank owners are irresponsible, that tanks aren't as bad as nuclear weapons, that it's obviously protected by the 2nd amendment.
Your culture is broken, that much is clear. But hey, carry on.
Tyler Gonzalez
>one that is still completely absurd for the public to have access too You're not illustrating why a firearm is absurd for a private citizen to own, though. That's the problem. We shouldn't have to argue your point for you.
And tanks are legal both in Canada and the US.
Brandon Hall
>the 3D printer represents affordability and technology which is plug and play to the most basic, untrained user. they may use shitty plastic now but technology is always getting better
Like I said, you convinced me. Carry own making more guns. It's a good plan.
Ian Rivera
Those things look like safe queens to me
To each his own, but fluting the slide looks like a great way to introduce dirt into moving parts. Not to mention there’s lots of steel you can shave off on the slide to change the weight and balance. All those extra cuts seem like superfluous wastes of time to me, but then again I don’t make thousands of dollars off of custom 1911s
Dylan Nelson
Most skeletonized firearms like that are "race guns". You use them to shoot at paper or steel on a closed shooting circuit while on the clock.
Juan Hill
>CNC and milling equipment machines are exceedingly difficult to use
Manual milling requires skill but CNC isn't much more difficult than 3D printing, you just need to be more aware of your tools and the materials you are using to not burn or break something.
> technology which is plug and play to the most basic, untrained user
You need to know 70% of what's required to use a modern CNC to use a 3D printer.
> have you considered that metal milling equipment might one day be just as cheap, and have plug and play software which allows you to download blueprints from the internet and start cutting?
That's.. right now. Cost is higher, but not much higher. The upper bounds of CNC goes way up to professional quality that's extremely expensive, but the lower bounds are in range of the better 3D printers.
I mean technically you can buy most of the stuff from China and assemble your own CNC for even cheaper but it's all a sliding scale. I don't know if you're overestimating the cost and skill in CNC or underestimating the cost and skill in 3D printing. It doesn't really matter, the point remains the same. People have had the tech to make real guns privately for decades and I know there have been "private" gunsmithing going on continually as a hobby. I've bought parts from hobbyists myself.
We're not really on opposite sides here.
>The guys over at FOSSCAD also have been testing out using it as the basis for silicone molds that they then use to cast using resin, and that was pretty successful.
It's all very interesting but the only test would be long term use to know if it's really just a fancy zipgun or really EZ oven-gunsmithing.
Dominic Diaz
>And tanks are legal both in Canada and the US.
Yes, I have one in my driveway. It's lovely.
Elijah Gomez
>get mortars and land mines
You too could get mortars and land mines in your country if you had the proper clearance.
You’re not advocating for less guns in less hands necessarily. You’re advocating for the government to have more of a say in who gets what and when.
Never forget that men acting in the service of governments have killed more people than in any other capacity. State actors are the biggest mass murderers of all, and you would have them possess all the weapons exclusively. How smart are you?
Dylan Cook
I'm assuming you're talking about a truck or something. When you mount firearms to the back, it's called a "Technical", and those are so common in certain conflicts that the Chadian-Libyan conflict, for instance, was nicknamed "The Toyota War".
Levi Lewis
we can own tanks, RPGs, mortars, and artillery in america, with the exception of tanks, they have become extremely regulated since 1934 but are still legal to own. tanks are not regulated in america for ownership, but as any metal tracked vehicle there are usually state laws that prohibit their operation on public roads due to destructiveness of treads and lack of signal lights, mirrors, etc. the same is true for construction bulldozers
What about howitzers? Can I get one of those? Fighter jets? How about just a Huey with a side-mounted gatling gun?
Jason Perez
Howtizers are legal here. As are privately owned jets. As are helicopters. I don't know if any Canadians lawfully own a minigun, but it would just require having the right kind of license.
Luke Edwards
Yes to all the above
You can hunt wild pigs in Texas from a helicopter if you get permission from the landowner and inform the state.
And *gasp* no one has been blown up by a howitzer, shot from/by a helicopter, or killed by a fighter jet domestically in the history of the US... unless it was done by the government.
Ethan Harris
In the glorious Republic of Texas you can hunt hogs with machine guns from helicopters so eat a dick leaf
