They are both shit

They're both great

Whichever one bacons the midnight narwhal, corade! LOL

Saitama, he has a lot more comedy potential.

All Might is best grill

It's always a treat to have Saitama in the story. Not so much with All Might.

/thread

Saitama is almost nonexistent in for the majority of OPM's biggest plot point.
Really makes you think

The stronger one.

I just realised that All Might is the hero Saitama most wants to be like.
>Loved and appreciated
>Powerful but can still be challenged
>Feels emotional connections with what's going on around him
>Has hair

Saitama.

All Might can be hurt as proven by One for All.

All Might by a significant margin but I have also not read the manga yet.

All Might. He is more of a character and less of a punchline.
Saitama is pretty one note. Although its not a fair comparison

Saitama bro, of course

They're good for different reasons, caped baldy is funnier, for example, while all might is better at delivering inspiring moments.

>Inspiring moment
>Post a fight that was practically written by the editors rather than the author

Lol

Saitama, even tho he doesn't seem to give a fuck but he give a lot of top tier speachs, specially at the end of garou arc

What?

While Saitama isn't much of a teacher, he's unexpectedly brutal, clever and entertaining.
Then again, I don't know much about All Might aside from things I've seen on youtube and on here, he seems fun.

>He think All Might survived because the author wanted to and not because they wanted to sell

Welcome to your first shonen.

Saitama was pretty inspiring, or despair inducing, during Garou's fight.

>people unironically think a one dimensional joke character is a good character
The absolute state of Sup Forums

confirmed for speedreader

>y-you just d-didn't read into it e-enough!
>m-my parody character is a-actually really c-complex!
Loving every laugh.

Pic unrelated?

>>people unironically think a one dimensional joke character is a good character

They're radically opposite characters.
Saitama is there to make heroic figures look more human, All Might is the radical opposite.

nice bait
thanks for taking mine

>Nigga didn't read past the anime

Saitama is the better character. He actually pulls the invincible superhero gimmick pretty well unlike shitters that hurts the story more than help with their presence

Saitama

I prefer Saitama, but like both overall. All Might is a declining hero of justice looking for someone to inherit the throne, and the moment when he fought Nomu to keep that image up just a little longer was great. Best guy in his series imo. Saitama is a simple gag character, but that doesn't mean there isn't pathos to his construction. Challenge excites him, but drove him to reaching the pinnacle of ability. The source of his apathy is easy enough to understand, and yet there's not much he can do about it. That kind of internal struggle appeals to me as it reflects reality. Our struggles usually break down to dealing with the fact that there are things we are helpless to do anything about.

>s-saitama is a deep character!
>h-he's not a parody
>read the manga!
I remember when people that read OPM knew it was making fun of shounen manga that take themselves to seriously.
Now OPMfags take their parody too seriously.
Really makes me think.

>Nigga still talking even tho he didn't read the manga

I read it. Please tell me where he stops being a punchline.
>"I think I'm too strong"
Great character, bud.

The point of all might is that he's the hero everyone wants to be. That's why he's the symbol of peace

>I remember when people that read OPM knew it was making fun of shounen manga that take themselves to seriously.
Not so much the taken seriously part but in general that is still true.

>he can't read between the lines
>calls other brainlets
pottery.

Oh I dunno, I get that everyone wants to be number 1, but wanting to be the symbol of peace seems fairly rare.
Bakugo wants to be number 1 but fucking hates being nice to people.
Todoroki wants to surpass his dad.
Ochaku wants to become a good hero to pull her family into financial solvency.

Deku and Mirio are committed to the symbol of peace gig but a mantle that big isn't for everybody.

They all want to be their interpretation of all might.
You are right in that Mirio and Deku are probably closer to what the real All Might is but that doesn't mean Baku or Todoroki weren't inspired by all might.

I see power level threads everyday started by OPMfags and their rabid defense force

>keeps shitposting
>doesn't actually give a good reason why he's a good character
>he's good because he killed his enemies with WAN PAWNCH!
OPMfags really are a cancer on this board.

Dude lol who gives a fuck, either way he might as well be dead now that he's jus a scrawny fuck

Inspired by sure, but being inspired by someone doesn't mean you completely identify with their ideals or even understand what they are.

Bakugo literally sees All Might as the guy who will always come out on top no matter what and want's to be that. He has no interest in making people feel comfortable or looked after.

Fucking Grape boy just wants to get laid but All Might inspired him.

I just think being the Symbol of Peace is just more of a specific aspiration that hasn't been attributed to many characters yet.

>I read it
You need to confirm this first, what happened when saitama went to hospital?

The point is All Might wants to be the inspiration for all of them.

>I see power level threads everyday started by OPMfags
We had like 4 threads this month?
And when we discuss power level in OPM thread we don't even mention saitama

>>doesn't actually give a good reason why he's a good character
What makes Saitama interesting/good as a character is his good nature. He basically has gotten 0 recognition and is downright mocked by people who do not understand his true value. They see the ranking and label him as garbage before they see anything behind that number. He maintains his cool and does nothing to obtain more for himself and that is most likely impossible in the real world. Somebody with unlimited power living such a meager existence should be rare if not impossible. Most heroes get the Fame and money, Saitama gets shit on except by his peers that understand the truth.
He's also cunning even tho he looks stupid but he just doesn't give a fuck most of the time.
And he's funny

All Might by a long shot.

Saitama by a long shot

ONE > Hori > Murata

Fact.

>Hori
If only he killed Almight

The one who tells OP to go fuck himself

Unironeclly that would be saitama

>He thinks the editor wrote a trope breaking moment that everyone more or less expected to be the death of all might

Saitama solves all of the story's problems immediately, you can't have him around if expect to have tension or conflict

Exactly. Saitama's scenes are mostly slice of life ones or world building ones, where we get to see how he interacts with the colorful cast of characters, the world, and their shenanigans. For actual, serious fighting scenes, the members of the hero assiciation are the ones doing the fighting until Saitama appears to deal with the big bad.

In certain way, he's not too different from Goku or superman, who due being overpowered, usually were omitted from several incidents until they escalated to the point only an invincible superhero could change the outcome of the battle.

Why does OPMhaters think that every fan of OPM thinks Saitama and/or whole manga is DEEP like their mother's anuses?

Murata doesn't write, retard and it's better artist than Hori.
1st year of school is too early.

That's pretty much how people react to characters they don't like or that are compared to characters they do like. They always pull the "HURR, that character isn't DEEP like the rabid fanboys says", and that's despite nobody ever said anything about him being deep or anything. In fact, odds are that they didn't even read the wecomic/manga or at least watched the anime and are simply being contrarians for the sake of being contrarian, or else their argument would be more in-depth instead of simply be "HURR, one punch is his entire character"

>almost nonexistent

He was the highlight of the arc and was present in the most important parts. The build up to the fight with Garou was pretty hype and blew away everyone's expectations.

>1st year of school is too early.
What's wrong with wanting Almight dead?

>Saitama solves all of the story's problems immediately
But he can't solve his own problems

COMPLEX GOOD
SIMPLE BAD

>solves all of the story's problems
>dragged the fight with Garou out because he didn't wanna kill and wanted to fuck around
>fucked the hero association in the ass with negative PR after he let Garou go
Saitama can't solve all the problems, he creates lots too

He dealt a blow to Garou that no punch could ever match.

Saitama solved the bigger problem of having Garou be a constant threat to heroes by effectively neutralizing him.

because OPM writing is shit.
Saitama is literally a God an can teleport anywhere to solve all the monster problems but he doesn't do it because of the shitty writing.

Hero academia is literally the most generic manga in existence.

>What makes Saitama interesting/good as a character is his good nature
He's not good natured he's just an oblivious retard with incredibly poor luck.
He can't make life better for himself because the universe does everything in its power to keep him from finding happiness and he's just too dumb to look for it the right way.

In contrast Mob is actually a good natured individual.
Saitama just goes around doing whatever because he feels like it with no regard for others as displayed by the whole meteor thing.

Show me one instance of Saitama teleporting long distances.
Oh wait you can't because you didn't actually read the story.

All might can't even bulk up anymore, he's like a pornstar who can't Get hard,

Nigga, he can run at lightspeed if he wants to.

Teleportation =/= Lightspeed.

/thread

>no regard for others as displayed by the whole meteor thing

As opposed to letting the meteor wipe out the city?

I'm curious as to what other options you think he had in the few seconds left before the meteor hit.

hit harder to disintegrate it.

Not him or any other naysayers, but it's clear Saitama is AT LEAST a planet buster given the Serious Punch feat.
That meteor was the size of half a dozen to a dozen at most city blocks. Which in scale is massively different.
He could have in theory punched with the same force as with Boros' laser and completely destroyed the meteor.

>Trope breaking
Fucking bnhatard, breaking a trope just means you're using another.

>He's not good natured
>What's mumen rider accident
>What's the meteor accident

Yes, hit it harder and cause a bigger detonation than a meteor strike.

>Saitama solves all of the story's problems
He fucked up a lot of times

>but he doesn't do it because of the shitty writing.
He lack motivation, they made that clear from ep 1

Exactly, he should have killed him instead of this, that would have been much more impactful

>thread is mostly about Saitama
>hardly anyone wants to discuss All Might

I guess that settles that.

>thread full of delusional OPMfags.

Boku no Hero fans are intelligent unlike you guys and didn't get baited

They always show some pretentious overthinkers from yt as example of fanbase

Black clover exist

Issou

Mostly haters and shitposters
It's full of OPMhaters

Shows that Saitama grabs attention. All Might is just bland.

Of course saitama is better than that marvel heroes rip-off

Don't be mad just because saitama is better

>Boku no Hero fans are intelligent
Bait

>I'm curious as to what other options you think he had in the few seconds left before the meteor hit
atomize it

>Boku no Hero fans are intelligent

not him but don't take the bait so easily ya'll. it's so obvious

Yeah, we're not the ones getting baited by the OP.
Really activates the brain almonds huh?

death is bad because the person that died can't do what they want to do and can't connect to the living. Losing One for all made it so he can't inspire others to go beyond as a symbol of peace and Villians now have nothing to fear. All might as a hero Died Yagi is just barely alive.
