It's an isekai and they have a universal fetish for isekai.

What's there not to be fascinated about?

>prepubescent blonde girl with blue eyes
there you go

lolicons are like stand users

>Underage girl gets spirited away to a fantasy world.
>Japan.
Gee, I dunno, this sure is a conundrum for the ages.

Shadowverse is trash.

Alice is the most sexualized character in fiction.

Because it's weird, kind of funny, has animal mascots, and a whole lot of other things. It essentially has everything that is popular in Japan already. They don't even need to make characters female, bizarre, or cute because it's like that already. It's the epitome of everything quaint but off-color, which is apparently popular.

You HAVE read Alice in Wonderland, right user?

It helps that she was one of the first truly great lolis in animation.

Lewis Carroll was a lolicon.

Well written and interesting?

A boat beneath a sunny sky,
Lingering onward dreamily
In an evening of July—

Children three that nestle near,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Pleased a simple tale to hear—

Long has paled that sunny sky:
Echoes fade and memories die.
Autumn frosts have slain July.

Still she haunts me, phantomwise,
Alice moving under skies
Never seen by waking eyes.

Children yet, the tale to hear,
Eager eye and willing ear,
Lovingly shall nestle near.

In a Wonderland they lie,
Dreaming as the days go by,
Dreaming as the summers die:

Ever drifting down the stream—
Lingering in the golden gleam—
Life, what is it but a dream?

Then they are dumb as fuck. Alice was a brunette, not a blue-eye blonder.

This plus frilly dress.

I have 4 copies of the book from different publishers. It's truly a fascinating read.

This

Which one has the cutest illustrations?

>Caring about illustrations
>Not just imagining everything
>Not making your own

>shadowverse invented AAIW references in popular Japanese media

kys

I can only imagine darkness within this desolate mind of mine.

me gusta

You don't need 4 copies to imagine 4 different girls.

Penguin Classics edition carries the original text of Alice Adventures in Wonderland along with the original illustrations done by Lewis Carroll himself which are in my opinion the cutest version of the heroine.

I really dislike the Tenniel illustration being the "cannon" version which are in every version of the book, his drawing is fine for the background and for the animal-people, but he draws Alice in such a ugly way that the illustration doesn't match the real-life Alice the slightly.

They just really like Isekai user.

She hits all the right notes for most nips.

yet there's still no good anime adaption

This one. I remember waiting on Amazon for days because a flurry of Sup Forumsnons kept buying it out.

Her eyes are too small, and her nose and mouth are too big.
What a shitty manga.

Just get some shitty scans user desu

black haired alice is cute too

She's the inspiration for so many popular characters it doesn't really matter.

DAMN, I WANT TO FUCK ALICE

Alice is a little girl user. You know that, right?

Damn right I know that!

Blonde victorian lolita girl

...

Both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass are public domain, I just google the audiobooks and listen to them whilst at the gym.

I might be retarded because I can't find them.

Snow White was only 14 in her movie, you wouldn't wake her up with a kiss, user?

>"They're dumb as fuck for paying attention to literally the most popular adaptation of Alice in Wonderland of all time, which virtually every other Alice in Wonderland-based media pays homage to."

>DWARF'd
No

>loli
>well written story
>loli
>very imaginative world
>loli
>cleaver jokes
>loli
>Disney adaptation
>loli
>great design on that adaptation
>loli
>Victorian English little girl
>loli
>MC is a proudish girl that thinks she is the best yet gets everything horribly wrong
>loli
>author practically wrote it as a love letter to a little girl
>loli
>MC is a motherfucking blond loli
>loli
Those are more or less most of the reasons.

What do the Lewis Carroll illustrations look like?

She's not cute m8 Alice Liddel is fuckin' smokin'.

Because it's a famous piece of literature about a cute little girl.

SV Alice isn't even original. It's just a recycled RoB character, like 95% of the cards.

Its the original Isekai

I really liked these pseudo nip drawings. They were cute as fuck. Also there were some full color drawings at the start of the book which was nice

LANDS OF WONDER
LANDS OF MARVEL

Lewis Carroll seems like a bit of a creepshow.

I love that one. Poor Caroll, that sick bastard.

>seems

I liked the loony one.

Little girls

many normalfags ITT

If you wouldnt you are gay

>Alice: Madness Returns

I'll see you dudes in a little bit.

Carroll was totally fucked up, he was a stutterer, deaf from a ear and had clearly visible asymmetrical face and shoulders, that's why all his pictures are from a portrait point of view.

So you're saying that he was /our guy/?

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_Carroll#/media/File:Alice_Liddell_2.jpg

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_Carroll#/media/File:Lewis_Carroll_1863.jpg

I'll be honest, he looks like a pretty normal guy.

Totally. From wikipedia's page about Carroll

>Catherine Robson refers to Carroll as "the Victorian era's most famous (or infamous) girl lover"

The left side of his face looks like it droops, especially around his eye.

Anybody can look like that, if a modern-day equivalent of him walked past you on the street you wouldn't even notice.

He was successful in both academia and arts and very humorous about his physical flaws. Pic related, one of his self portraits.

I think Lewis Carroll was a pretty cool guy, he almost definitely was a lolicon (read: pedophile) but I don't think there's any evidence of him actually harming any kids. Are any of his academic essays available online or something, user?

True, and I have to admit, she's got more personality than most people expect from classic Disney princesses (especially in her interactions with Grumpy, animation's first tsundere).

A lot of his work (if not all of them) are public domain.

Thanks, user!

>openlibrary.org/authors/OL22098A/Lewis_Carroll
Wait is the book really that short?

Fushigi na Sekai.
Suteki na Sekai.

first case of isekai lolis

Carroll being a lolicon or not is still a unsolved mystery without any proof so sustain any side, but it's a fact from his drawing and photos he was fascinated about small female figures and had no interest in the "adult world".

More of a midget than loli

Yep, even the modern versions of AAIW based in the latest edition are about 100 pages long and it includes about 2 or 3 extra chapters not presents in the original first version.

>without any proof to sustain either side
How about the fact that he was obsessed with little girls, user? How about that? Don't mean you're necessarily a bad person, a pedophile who doesn't harm kids is just a weirdo pervert. He ain't a bad person, y'know? But he's a pedo all the same!

...

>that cheeky left nipple

>Alice is the most sexualized character in fiction.

Boy, it's been a while but I remember a lot of implied lewdness in Miyuki-chan in Wonderland.

The Alice that Lewis Carroll was 12. Note that this was over over 150 years ago so it was before all those gay frog hormones got into the fluoride.

Your level of mental gymnastics have far
outgrown the general human being means of perception.

that Lewis Carroll was obsessed with*

He collected cheese pizza. He created cheese pizza. Nothing vulgar as far as we know, but they were still nudes. He also tried to pull a Scaruffi with the historical Alice.

She was 13 when the book was first published.

Is trap Alice the pinnacle of human achievement? Too bad I can't post any since it's all NSFW.

Literally me but famous.

Are you an academic genius and skilled writer, user?

Not him but I am and also have a stutter and lived in Victoria for a few years.

In the movie she looked like any other cartoon women, just shorter

Then what are you wasting away here for, faggot?

>ruining loli with trapshit
The fuck outta here.

No she fucking... I have no idea what you're talking about. She looked like she was 11 or 12 in that movie.

I'm a girl lover

Why don't they like Wizard of Oz?

Not if you're rooting through here.

Alice Liddell was actually 7 when the first book was published.

Stop being a fag and post it.

Dorothy isn't a little girl.

Gay.

>Alice Liddell was actually 7 when the first book was published.
The publish date is 1865
Alice was born in 1852
