When did libertarianism become so keked by statism?
>Libertarianism five years ago: "We need to create a society that respects individual liberty and rejects the notion of giving authority to the state beyond infastructure, taxation, and defense"
>Libertarianism now: "We need a king and to give him/the state the power to determine what is 'acceptable' behavior and remove by force anyone who does not act in an 'acceptable' manner"
These clowns masquerading as libertarians need to be exposed for the authoritarians they actually are.
>We need a king and to give him/the state the power to determine what is 'acceptable' behavior and remove by force anyone who does not act in an 'acceptable' manner
Cite one instance of a self-identified libertarian saying something of this nature.
I think you are confusing several different types of libertarians today. First, there are libertarians that advocate for a monarchy over a democracy (Hoppean idea) in that they believe a monarch could maintain a libertarian order far better than a democracy has been able to. Second, there's libertarians that advocate for private libertarian communes (Hoppean again) where only like-minded people (no democracy or communism) can live in peace. Third, there are libertarianish people today who want a Pinochet-type dictator to mass-murder communists and give us liberty by force.

austrian economics debunked (redpill overdose)
TRIGGER WARNING: FACTS AHEAD!!
tl;dr
>gold standard is unstable and not a viable currency, susceptible to fraud and dependent upon mining
>they are openly anti-scientific, rely on "praxeology", they are philosopher at best
>dumb ideology funded by koch brothers think tanks (CATO) to convince ignorant armchair economists
>every prediction they had is proven wrong
>they business cycle theory is wrong
>they don't use scientific method, no maths, no statistics, nothing, just speculation
>only used as political rhetoric by ron paul to rile up his gadsen-flag hillbilly voterbase
>all of peter schiff's predictions are wrong, he has been preaching doomsday for decades
>mainstream economics agrees with less than half of their policy
>literally no respects austrian economists today, abandoned as early as 1950's
>only good thing to come out of it was Hayek, who wasn't even Austrian since he rejects praxeology. He contributed to price theory, and added to the socialist calculation problem. Also his philosophy is superior and way more nuanced compared to mises/rothbard.
Where are all the libertarian girls in this world
top global econ journals, ZERO positive austrian results, all negative! outdated! wrong! pseudoscience!

take your retarded shill posts some where else. Your graph does not account for niggers.
Question: How would disputes and conflicts be settled in high population-density urban areas? In small communities I could definitely see a system like in ancient Ireland or Iceland, where the parties would choose a reputable judge to resolve their conflict, but in somewhere like New York City, people don't really know each other.

Can green-square liberals such as myself still be allies of the libertarians?
I support ending the Fed, gun rights, the right of private businesses to discriminate, non-interventionist foreign policy, and restricted immigration.
You could be an ally in some endeavors but I would say this general is not for you.
how did you end up there when you support all these things?
I align with Bernie Sanders when it comes to economic views. Any good red-pilling books/vids that espouse the benefits of free markets as opposed to socialism?
are there any good ancap groups that i could join
I'm pretty new to ancapistan
High-density populations require either
>Ethno-cultural homogeneity
or
>A centralized court system
The former would have a higher trust amongst citizens, so there's little inherent animosity and conflict-resolution can be decentralized to a certain extent. Hong Kong is a good example of this.
The latter would be a police state like Singapore, where there is a high degree of diversity, but the government, by necessity, is draconian on domestic policy. Tamils, chinks, malays, etc. have such wildly different cultural backgrounds that they require a neutral law to be enforced with an iron fist (if they're going to live together).
This is the list /lrg/ usually recommends.
One of the greatest books on the matter is A Theory of Socialism and Capitalism by Hans-Hermann Hoppe. Hoppe masterfully goes over the economic and ethical problems with socialism and then argues why capitalism is both economically and ethically superior.
For beginners I can recommend videos of Milton Friedman and Thomas Sowell on Youtube (or some of their book. They aren't fully ancap or anything but from the economic point they are spot on.
There are plenty of short simple videos that explain why regulations and welfare hurt the poor.
This channel has a lot of their interviews: youtube.com

am i too authoritarian for this general?
That test is awful and scores inaccurately. Most ancaps would score something similar to you on that test.
do you have a link for more accurate one?

These are both better tests that give more accurate results
Any other PA bros here getting cozy in this storm?
Where does Venezuela land in this scale
Thanks a bunch.
PA here, did you vote for Trump too? I went for Bernie in the primaries and Trump in the General.
I vote Trump for the primary and for the general. I will never forget when PA turned red
Yep, one of the greatest things I've ever seen.
PA here, this storm is the last straw. Moving back to AZ in 2 weeks.

I assume most of /lrg/ is both familiar with and fond of Jared Taylor?
I actually don't know much about him. He's that white nationalist fellow right?
Yeah, he's also pretty libertarian from what I've heard of him, talking about freedom of association and dissassociation.
Politiscales results are interesting, but I didn't like how some of the questions were formatted (grammatically incorrect, ambiguous, etc.).
So like a refined version of Cantwell?
Jared Taylor doesn't mind Jews while Cantwell definitely does, but aside from that I suppose they have similarities.
Taylor isnt very political. He doesn't advocate for any certain system (like monarchism or libertarianism). He is simply pro white

Why do you have Mises on that image? Mises was pro-open immigration. Rothbard was too before his cynical, insincere "paleo-libertarian" turnabout.
...
For a New Liberty is not Libertarian Right.
I posted this in the wrong thread, was meant for Sup Forums
What are you talking about? For a New Liberty is a top-tier Rothbard book
>a top-tier Rothbard book
In other words, it's not Libertarian Right.
Excuse me?
If Rothbard is not libertarian right, who is?
Define Libertarian Right.
>t. keynesian shill
Keep sucking that faggot cock, government shill.
He's probably generalizing Hans Herman Hoppe's acceptance of "physical removal" of corrupting individuals in a society, Hayek's thoughts that a period of authoritarian by a benevolent dictator might be necessary, and von Mises's congratulatory statements about the preservation of Western Civilization.
You seem to have a pretty strong idea of what it means already, why don't you share what it means to you, considering you're the one who's been insisting on what is and isn't Libertarian Right?
Block is the type of Jew to own a private gas chamber.

High-density urban areas will greatly reduce in both size and number, and over a long-enough period of time will be dismantled and reclaimed by more natural forms of human accomodation.

You are a fucking clown.
He's a good man with good opinions on things, and he presents himself well.
He's a bit too soft on the Jews, though.
Admitting the truth is not the same thing as being some kind of a statist.
Hoppe laid his arguments out perfectly, any misinterpretation of his position on monarchy is the fault of the reader (or non-reader, as is the case most of the time).
Not disagreeing, he just may have meant an autocrat instead of king, or he's just gotten around to reading Moldbug and thinking people are still NRx.
>when you literally score "ein reich, ein volk, ein führer" on your political analysis
almost same results, the 7% too
