Why US really loss the Vietnam?

why US really loss the Vietnam?

Because it was a war that the us decided would be won by body count and not actual territory seized. So theyd spend a week taking some hill just to leave it later. And the viet cong fighting guerrilla style weren't getting demoralized they just wanted to inflict as many US casualties as possible and then the hippies were seeing how many Americans were dying and basically complained until the US withdrew.

Godammed hippies.

Guerilla warfare is a pain in the ass to deal with.
Americans also started to hate the war and protested against it.

It's on the other side of the fucking world

Also, Soviet Union was pretty powerful and almost on par with US at those times. They helped the Vietcong w/ KGB training and supplies

Cause it's a shitty country that can't even invade a bunch of dumb Asians the right way

THey decided they didn't want to win it anyway and pulled out.

The majority of the soldiers did not want to be there. The Vietnamese on the other hand were prepared to commit even the worst atrocities towards the American soldiers during the war (which in turn would make the fellow Americans go mental) as they were being invaded and in their minds it was a war for survival. Propaganda was at an all time high, but Americans would still get the news from back home somehow, so I'm sure that hearing how you're a monster 24/7 while you're stuck in some fucking rice field dodging bullets would take your will to fight too. Plus guerilla warfare is a bitch.

First of all, technically the us and North Vietnam signed an armistice in 1973 ending the war. The US withdrew most of it's forces as the armistice required. In short, the US fought the North Vietnamese to a draw similar to how the Korean War ended. The US did not lose the war.

After the US withdrew from the war, North Vietnam violated the armistice and invaded the south again. After 2 years of war the south surrendered.

Secondly, the US did not win the war because the war was largely unpopular from the outset, and only became more unpopular as time went on. The radical left vehemently opposed the war, and the US government was unwilling to wage total war against the north.

This happened for several reasons, but the major ones included not wanting to piss China off again and have them come to the aide of North Vietnam (even though China hated North Vietnam, the fear was that communist ideology would override racial hatred) and the US government wanting South Vietnam to take the initiative, which they were never really able to do.

Had the US wanted to win the war, it could have in very little time. But no politician wanted to justify huge casualties in a war few Americans wanted to fight in the first place to their constituents, so the war was fought half-assed.

It wasn't a US war to begin with.

Jewish sabotague.

Lost hard, also i hope you are enjoying the heroin we sent back with

>why US really loss the Vietnam?
Easy they were not on home turf. Like with the middle east. U.S are literal dip shits when it comes to war. They try to invade countries that they have not fully researched or done any recon on. So with Vietnam they ruined them with their under ground tunnel systems and they knew the land alot more with the U.S so it was a matter of time till the U.S would leave with a higher body count than they intended. Like again the middle east they fucking ruined the U.S and good for them.

The North was ready to fight to the last, no surrender, while the US didn't want a single one of it's sons to die in the name of halting communism.

The South was corrupted cesspool with a variety of beurcratic fucks making the whole situation worse like when the wife of one PM said that she would bring matches next time a Buddhist monk wants to set himself on fire.

China and the USSR fortified Hanoi impenetrable.

AK47>M16

The North had Vo Nguyen Giap. That's like fighting Rommel if Hitler gave him everything he needed without Patton.

No clear vision of what victory looked like.

Consequently lots of action but no achievement.

Should have marched on Hanoi. Never did. Commies simply rounded up a couple thousand new farming peasants and handed them a soviet rifle and equipment, whenever the previous thousand peasants died. If we'd went straight for their capital, blocked off retreat, and pushed in earnest into Cambodia, we'd of won.
But we were too afraid we'd make China cry, so we didn't. As result we killed a lot of peasants with a commie bayonet at their back, over and over and over.

Eventually a hill is taken, if the strategy of defenders of said hill never leave the hill, and those that do want to take it never stop wanting to take it. Be the defenders armed with space lasers and x-rays, and attackers with rocks, eventually the defenders lose even if it took centuries. History proves this. Attrition is not a viable strategy if one side limits it's aggression while the other does not.

I hate American exceptionalism memes so much. Kill yourself you fucking kike loving freak.

China was fighting a proxy war against us. We could have won if we went ballistic but obviously, that would have been really bad, because it would have spiraled into a third world war.

Also, we had no business there, it was a French mistake that we felt the need to fix.

Didn’t just exterminate every living thing.

We didn't glass their ass

The real question is, why did the jews send the peasant white military over there in the first place.

hahahahahahahaha

this guy knows what's up
it really were the same people in ww2, mcnamara and such

>why US really loss the Vietnam?
they waited for the enemy instead of going out to find it.

the "protection of south vietnam" was americans going jack shit when it came to attacking the enemy they used fire bases to protect towns and so forth but didn't do too many attacks discounting "linebacker" and "tent" offenvises

the ground war wasn't as sussessful as the air war.

USA used too many hit and run tactics while at first effective
they just built tuennels and ambush points and then became ineffective.

the lack of supplies dew to hippie BS
really didn't help and possiably killed more men then it saved.

how ever the medical area of the army was very effective dispite loss of supplies ever so often.

another reason they lost was the fact they where undermaned and didn't have all that many tanks

also they needed to be there longer and they needed more moeny to reserch how to take out sam sites effectively'
because thowing choppers at it and watching them all fail was a stupid idea

>Like again the middle east they fucking ruined the U.S and good for them.
How so?

LOL u mad?

A very simple yet good summary

Kremlin slide thread
Sage goes in all fields

They pulled out after BTFOing the commies while promising to support south vietnam with arms and whatnot. Then the exact second a dem got in office when tricky dick left they cut all support to the south so they could have more money for niggers.
