I've picked up VRAINS again with the original series being the only other one I've watched. I've been able to keep up till now but I'm at episode 12 where MC fights the Hanoi guy. Every turn both sides Special Summoning a bunch of low level fodder each having 2 - 3 different effects then using them to summon Link Monsters to summon more Links. I know that's how the IRL game has been since Synchros since I had been playing the game up to XYZs but I didn't expect the anime duels to cover that aspect so heavily as well, it's just no fun to watch especially with the lengthy explanations for each card.

If you're an American, I recommend just watching DM season 1 and that's it.

You're supposed to be focused on the boss monsters, not the low level fodder monsters that get summoned 3 times per turn just to be sacrificed.
