Government policy on travelling from South Africa.
South African Passport holders do not need a visa to enter Ireland. They must be in possession of a valid full South African passport with at least six (6) months’ validity remaining on the passport from the date they intend to leave Ireland. Temporary passports or other types of travel documents are not acceptable. The passport must have at least 6 months validity remaining from the intended date of departure. They must also be able to satisfy the Immigration Officer at the port of entry that they have a valid reason for entering Ireland and they may be asked for documentation to support their case.
It is unlikely you will be detained but you may be asked questions like, how do you intend to stay, reason for travel, do you have a return ticket, have you sufficient funds, do you intend to work. You will deffinitely be searched for drugs as South Africa is a well known smuggling route to Ireland.

I think it should be fine, user, I have a case to make, whether it is accepted or not is up to them, hopefully the time buys me a shot to find a job, cancel the asylum process, and continue with a regular work visa.
