Hard mode: make it not terrible

Hard mode: make it not terrible
Nightmare mode: make it good

A young aspiring mangaka who's never been in love strikes gold when he adapts his best friend's love story into a oneshot. He is given a chance at making a monthly series so he decides to turn it into a story about an everyman who is compelled by a cupid only he can see to assist in seeing to it that the seeds of love fruit in troubled budding couples.

He starts off decently enough at first but by the end of the first volume he is desperate for ideas to make solid love stories out of. In a twist of fate however, his editor is promoted to chief and has to pass off the guy to another editor. The editor in question happens to be a cute young rookie herself and they put her in charge of him with the new chief supervising for her probationary period.

This motivates him at first but friction soon forms between them when they discover the other is not as ideal as they were made out to be. They also learn of the vastly different ideas of love they have and staunchly defend against the other's arguments despite their mutual lack of experience with it.

With their careers on the line, they brilliantly decide one night while brainstorming ideas to try their hand at being cupids themselves when the editor's friend comes bawling to her about her recent break-up. It's a messy but quick endeavor and the author once again strikes inspiration gold solving their looming crisis when the reception for the newest chapter is nothing short of fantastic.

Seeing their success, the pair embrace their cupid side hustle to keep the idea train going and celebrate with a night of a drinking. They hop from one bar to the next all night expecting to find themselves at home in a painful stupor at their own homes in the morning but what greeted them instead was a slow, awkward realization - the bed they shared was not their own.

I call this one "Working On Love".

Fund it.

A BOY

Mine would be a complete, shameless ripoff of Cowboy Bebop and GiTS. The crew of a small pirate ship ends up involved by accident in a proxy war between two corporations. All crew members are trying to run away from something, whether it's love, debt, unreturned favors or scores to settle. As these things go, their pasts always catch up with them, and they end up dealing with their shit while they're not dodging conspiracies and bounty hunters. After the final reveal and zero-g battle, the surviving crew realize that none of them got what they thought the wanted through the experience, but each got what they really needed. Scores get settled, debts get repaid, and the lovers go back together. The last scene is all surviving characters, friend and foe, having one last drink together on a mining station, while the ship gets crushed by an ore reprocessor under their feet. Bang.

Imagine a time loop, except the entire world is aware that it's repeating the same day over and over.

And no one knows how to stop it

That was like yesterday dude. Everyone's already on today.

The world is fucked up by viruses in the form of monster ala digimon. One day, a hikikomori was shocked when he finds out his PC can talk to him and give him the abilities to transform into an action hero by using the power of GPU belt and CPU arc reactor. He goes his way to fight all of the viruses around the world. In the end it was revealed that he's just a schizophrenic.

Our MC is a girl who is interested in making friends in her new class. She is very energetic, careless and also flat-chested. As a result, she often ends up breaking people's cherished possessions.

She stores damaged objects all throughout her home. These pieces of damaged furniture and other items scare her, emitting a strange aura due to their damages. She can see this aura due to the teachings of of her grandparents. They taught her that each piece of furniture and houseware should be respected.
One day the spirits guide her to an old magazine that features her grandparenents repair shop, now she desires to repair these items to honor her grandparents.but she has no skills or tools.

then, she hears a loud hammering and the whirring of saws coming from her neighbor's backyard. When she goes to look, she sees her classmates cutting wood and building furniture. Inspired by their skills (and big boobs) she asks the other girls if they could give her guidance in the art of furniture repair.

Every day she learns the ins and outs of traditional woodworking and uses these skills to restore her possessions, healing the objects' auras, and as her skills grow so too does her chest

if everyone knows that everything is the same, wouldn't it be different because of how they interact with others about it?
the only problem would be the change from one season to another season and weather

ZIONIST

good. now just add extended love-making scenes and it's great.

A group of burger connoisseurs travel the world in search for the perfect burger. It's like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives mixed with Dagashi Kashi but for burgers.

Four schoolgirls are friends in a typical slice of life show, but the second half of each episode takes place ten years in the future when one of them is a depressed virgin, one of them is stuck as a housewife who never goes outside except to shop and attend social events with her husband, one is in a terribly boring office job, and one is a genderbent Lance Armstrong who wins bike races and is struggling to keep her doping scandal from going public. The OP is super upbeat and the ED is incredibly depressing.

I would watch this.

If the entire world is aware of it, wouldn't the only difference be that no one ever dies or gives birth, and the weather never changes?

nine schoolgirls struggle to become the best school idols in the history of ever, but then they die falling from the school roof while practicing and end up having a second opportunity in an alternate medieval fantasy dimension where they have to beat the demon master AND become the best medieval fantasy idols AND get the 7 griffin balls so they can make a wish and win at the street races they have every night because this world has cars too but only toyota sprinter truenos and also they have ecchi scenes like every 3 minutes

so yeah that's it, do not steal my 100% original idea

Monsters, demons, gods etc come from the world of ideas and try to conquer earth. Humans must use their brains and the available technology to kill the enemies. All the battles are strategic and not just simple power fantasy in fact it's the opposite. How do I defeat someone who has superpowers and can use magic

This

>How do I defeat someone who has superpowers and can use magic
You use the power of friendship like always.

MC gets truck'd and dies a virgin. Last thought lament his how he died alone. He realizes he found himself isekai'd to a fantasy world. Thing is he gotten reincarnated into two bodies. The body of a guy and the body of a girl. He learns that the girl has everything he ever wanted in a girl and since it is his body he can do what he wants with her. Problem is the guy and girl body are on opposite ends of the planet. Now he will go on adventure to unite the two bodies while trying to fend off the suitors (male suitors, the female ones are alright).

That sounds like a space pirate version of seventh samurai

fund it

I like the way you think, user.

eventually he will start fending off the female ones as well as his female body starts influencing him

Good now have it marketed towards Americans but have the Urobutcher write it and kill off all of the girls

HOT

Throughout history, various children around the globe are chosen by Guardian Angels, paranormal beings and monsters with a variety of shapes, sizes, temperaments and powers. Guardian Angels and their chosen children enter a symbiotic relationship where the Guardian Angel taps into the soul of their master to utilize their own powers. Their goals are mysterious and their endgames are unknown, but the children they choose are dragged into a seemingly endless conflict with a mysterious entity called Hades, which takes many and multiple forms but is one omnipresent being deadset on destroying humanity, the source of the Guardian Angels' powers. It attacks in waves.

Our main character's a cute girl, home-schooled alongside with her twin brother by her single father. Both of them are home-schooled due to having an illness that makes them incredibly weak and feeble. The closest things she has to actual friends is her next door neighbour, who pities her more than anything.
She notices that her brother's been acting strange and depressed for a week now, and one thing leads to another and she discovers her brother's been hiding a terrible secret, that he's been chosen by a Guardian Angel, and he's been sneaking out every night to combat Hades and in turn is responsible for the massive nightly wave of destruction in the nearby city trying to defend it, and that his cold, edgy Guardian Angel believes the end justifies the means, not caring how many people die in the wake of destruction as long as the majority of people are saved, and that now that she knows about this conflict, she and her father are now targets for Hades.
Her brother is pushed to the edges of despair, with the endless struggle wearing down his already weak body, with the countless of innocent lives lost, and with his family constantly in danger. He ultimately dies, and now our main character is forced to take up the reigns, where every fight ruins the lives of hundreds and peoples' hatred is directed at her.

[Arcana warriors]
Action/Comedy
After the disapearance of his grandfather, our MC have to travel to another world to rescue him and defeat the rest of the arcana warriors, people with superpowers based on the tarot cards, after a series of events he obtain the power of the fool that allow him to summon any object as long as he concentrate in every part and know the parts that form it, his party consist in:
The hierophant: a guy(maybe?) with psychic powers including telekinesis.
The magician: MC's imouto who was accidentally isekai'd when the goddess "the world" tried to retrieve "the fool" card, she obtains the power to cast magic.
The grandpa: he is the former "The fool" he was captured after he visited the other world to investigate the return of "The joker".
The devil: a mercenary with the power to use his shadow to attack.
The star: a former slave girl who obtained the power to generat electric energy from her body and combine it with her martial arts.
the objective is to defeat "The joker" and save the world.
it's a show focused on the exploration of the new world, the interactions of the characters and the battles against the many adversaries our main cast will have to fight.

Based on a dream I had yesterday. Very livid and VERY much like an anime in terms of looks, which impressed me.

The year is 3000-something. Humanity has long expanded into the vast reaches of space.

A new race of humans has arisen due to an oddity in one of the earlier out-of-system colonies: a harmless alien bacteria that entered the body somehow tampered with genetics and in a few centuries people with strangely-colored hair that lights up when they experience very strong basic emotions (happiness, sadness, anger, some others).
These people were defined as "Bacterial Humans" or bacterials for short (though some use the colloquialism "lampmen", which some of the affected party resent).
However, a harmful side-effect of the bacteria was discovered through research: bacterials are much more prone to emotional outbursts, and those outbursts have a chance of killing them if they aren't stopped. This is achieved through medication, or in the absence of it, clearly speaking one's mind about one of the things that is afflicting them generally seems to do the trick. To deal with this embarrassing and possibly life-threatening condition, bacterials began to develop quiet, polite and somewhat reclusive personalities, and it's generally accepted that it's a bad idea to prod a bacterial too much unless you're familiar.
(I know the science part is total bullshit, it's just lore for the MC)
(Cont)

Enter MC, a bacterial himself. MC an apprentice trader, traveling to the Jasper colony with his teacher to open a business. They hitch a ride on the Spectrum, a relatively small patrol cruiser of the Raider Corps, who, due to reduced raider activity, have taken to providing cheap transport services.

There, MC meets and falls in love with the ship's captain, a female officer only somewhat older than him. Proud of his ability to control his emotions, he nevertheless hits headfirst into the intense, unrelenting feelings he has for the captain, and during a particular outburst, to avoid confessing his feelings he instead blurts out his desire to join the Raider Corps, a childhood fancy of his.

To his teacher's chagrin, the captain happily enlists him in her ship and bunks him with a few other cadets, including a quiet bacterial girl and a friendly smuggler looking to disguise his operations with a military facade. Dealing with his love for the captain while keeping it a secret, getting roped into the smuggler's schemes, being set up with the other bacterial by the other cadets and hearing no end of it from his teacher who wants him to leave the corps, there will be no end of trials for him on the way to Jasper, especially when raider forces seem to be making a return under new, dangerous leadership.

Basically romantic space opera with glowing hair gags.

That is a seriously interesting premise, considering it's less than thirty words. It would be so cool to live there, but so frustrating at the same time. Everyone's immortal, no one would need food or money, you could do whatever you want with no consequences (aside from other people remembering you did it). But technology would never advance past the limits of what you could physically build in a day. You'll never finish that book you've been working on. And if you wake up sick that day, you're sick for the rest of your life.

It would be fascinating to read. I feel like someone must have already done it. I kinda want to ask /sffg/ about it.

MC's mom gets isekai'd in the game her son was playing, now he must aid his mom in-game using his avatar. She's overly dependent on him at the start, but as she demands him to take care of himself by going to school and shit she slowly gets the hang of the virtual world, despite the fact that she can't level up, gets zero stats and death is permanent for her.

Manyuu Hikenchou but with ass instead of tits

It's a SoL short anime about little girls in silly animal costumes acting like animals in a farm. It would be played kinda straight in the sense that the girls don't question why they eat off the ground or why there's no signs of human life in the farm, yet at the same time dumb shit happens, like the chicken loli having trouble getting the eggs out of her suit, the cow being too shy to take the top of her suit to milk herself in front of the other cows, and how everyone is tired of the overly reproductive bunnies overtaking the farm even though they're all female (and also all share the same design and seyuu)

A six part neo noir OVA series
A struggling young jazz musician comes into some money and decides to live his dream, owning his own jazz nightclub. Things go smoothly for a while until the local mafia wants a piece of the action. Soon enough, the mafia forces the musician to turn his club into a stripclub/brothel. To his dismay, the club is a huge success after the switch, whereas it was barely getting by. The series would focus on his eventual loss of faith in humanity, and his spiral into drugs, crime, and greed. I'm thinking the last arc would be him getting too carried away and killing a mafia guy, then trying to hide it or cover it up, and then ultimately meeting his end.

Hockey sports anime. That's what I need in my life. But if it needs some extra spice make it be about a group of delinquent girls forming a team and gooning it up.

Cool

An anime about cute lolis dabbing

MC is a guy with

autism.

They would be stuck on the same day, it would probably get tiring and drive them crazy, and you couldn't even kill yourself.

Space Dandy did an episode on this.

sounds interesting for a romantic plot

sounds kinda simple, I guess it could be good if the characters are good

Don't go the "it was all a dream" route, it just shits on an idea that's not brilliant but could be fun

pretty nice

you made me interested in the American Constitution, so good

One of the best myths to animate

Street races in a medieval world? At least be consistent.

Probably recruiting the good creatures of fiction, or doing like JoJo did

Band anime
Alt. rock/metal band, inspired by the likes of Quicksand, Dinosaur Jr., and other bands that fit into that nature, are high school musicians who accidentally wriggle their way into stardom.

Anime where you see a clip of Japan getting nuked for 7 seasons with each season made up of 12 episodes

Anime about a relatable socially awkward mc with no friends going through high school with linkin park and korn soundtracks playing throughout.

A super pacifist guy is isekai'd into a fantasy world where all the fantasy races are locked in constant war. He travels from land to land, befriending every species, learning about them and eventually getting them to sign for peace. However, he meets a girl of every species, which end up forming an harem. He's kinda bad at romance, but not totally oblivious, he quickly realizes that all his work towards peace could be undone by picking one girl avobe the others.

A fighting shonen about a half demon boy, who discovers his mother cheated on her husband with a demon lord. He now stands between the other half-demon children of his evil father, so he has to fight them to see who inherits their father's place in Hell's hierarchy. His little half-sister, meanwhile, who is fully human, was recruited by demon hunters due to her unnatural soul power (which she got from growing up close to demonic energy). Neither her nor her brother knows about the other being a half demon/demon slayer

Don't know about the boy's powerset, but the girl turns into a fanservicey. but not so much, nurse uniform and fights throwing syringes with different effects (sleeping, paralysis, just lethal). The syringes don't do damage by themselves, but can pierce through anything and inject whatever they carry. The effects are proportional to the objective's soul power. Also, demons are hunted because they eat souls to become more powerful and recharge power, MC sometimes falls prey to his hunger (also, since he fights other demons, he needs to eat) but tries to eat only assholes or other demons. Demon hunters use powers similar to demons, but instead of powering up by eating souls, they train the power of their own soul, and have other rituals and weapons which carry soul power from previous demon hunters to compensate for the fact that demons might have the power of thousands of souls.

Cute Girls Doing Home Repair Cutely.

5 highschool girls arrive at their boarding school. Due to overcrowding they are all put into the abandoned girls dorm building. It is in horrible shape and things are only getting worse. The school finally gets around to sending a repair man. He is quiet old. After getting his truck full of tools to the dorm. He promptly dies during a lunch time nap. The school forgets the girls' housing problem again.

So the girls decide to fix things up themselves. Using the oldman's truck of tools and the school library. They learn how to do the work and get busy with the repairs.

Every episode will teach factual information on carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. There will also be the standard boarding school filler material like onsen, beach, pool, exams, sports, etc.

I like this

>Some Girl gets raped by delinquents and her brother vows vengeance
>He dons a Kamen Rider-Esqe Sentai Mask and Slaughters the Hierarchy of the Gang
>His actions gain the attention of law enforcement who are determined to find out the masked killers identity
>The MC discovers that his Sisters rape was caused by an attempted kidnapping and that the yazuka were going to have her like many other girls become cargo in their human trafficking business and eventually makes the Yazuka his target as well
>Basically Goblin Slayer x Hotline Miami

An orc (female) get's isekai'd into the modern world and she opens a restaurant with her unique cooking style...

Anime similar to Kemono Friends or Kantai Collection but the waifus are based off of famous action stars like Bruce Lee, Hiroshi Fujioka and Sonny Chiba rather than animals or ships.

Thousands of years ago, an event in the center of the Earth nearly wiped out all of humanity. Whatever humans who weren't killed by the initial shockwave were separated into sects by major shifts in terrain, forming extreme plateaus and valleys. The radiation from the Earth's core has rapidly sped up the mutation process, and those former people in the extreme valleys have been most affected.

Enter our MC, the resident of an "island" in the sky. Due to being on one of the most elevated plateaus, his people are some of the most isolated and least mutated, however they do have lowered bone density and subtle wingsuit-like skin flaps. Because of their isolation, no one in the village ventures below except for the heralded expedition team that gathers food and supplies from a sub-plateau below, yet only a select few have ever even attempted to descend to the surface, of which none are known to have reached.

(1/2)

MC is your typical young adult with no idea what he wants to do; his parents have always pushed for him to join the expedition team as it is a great honor, but he is bored of this prospect. On a particularly dark night on which the island was strangely not engulfed in clouds, the MC is out for a pensive and brooding walk when he spot a strange light off in the horizon. He spends weeks obsessing over this light, checking for it every night and pestering his fellow villagers. They all say he was just seeing things, and "the surface is completely barren," "quit dreaming," etc.. Just before giving up on the light in the distance, he looks out once more and sees the light, now blinking, as if in distress. The next day -- he leaps off the side of the plateau. (Due to his mutations, terminal velocity is far from fatal).

This is a story of our MC exploring the unknown in a world with innumerable societal possibilities. In some cases he's simply a visitor and onlooker, some he plays an active role in some sort of strife, others he's a perceived invader and enemy. As the audience we will see how these societies have developed based on their 1) isolation, 2) mutations/elevation, 3) availability of resources.

A couple of examples of places MC could visit:
>A society that was unaffected by the electromagnetic blast, and retains technology from the modern era
>A society that has long since been wiped out due to lack of resources, but the MC follows their survival in the archives they left behind
>Two neighboring societies that have been at war for as long as either can remember
>A "society" in a chasm of bestial remnants of man

The Owner of a Lonely Heart:

Is it better to risk another broken heart or live your life with a lonely one?

[Enter MCs name here] certainly thinks the latter is more appealing by the time he enters High School due to some sour events in the past few years. As such he has adopted a certain persona to make sure that every step he takes keeps him on this path.

However things are far from smooth sailing as there are people determined to drive him of course.

Will [Enter MCs name] go back on his word and try love one more time or wall of anyone who gets close and stay true to being the owner of a lonely heart?

The story takes place in a fantasy world where magic and advance technology rule. The main characters are the main hero and his sidekick who is also his love interest, the main villain and his trusty minion who is also his love interest.

The thing is though, is that the main hero and main villain are awful at their things. The hero and sidekick's actions unintentionally always end up making the world an even worse place, while the main villain and minion's actions unintentionally always end up making the world a better place.

Has both serious and comical elements about the good guys end up making things worse and the bad guys always end up making things better.

>as her skills grow so too does her chest
AOTY

So would this be an episodic series featuring a different set of characters every episode? I'd like to see someone who knows someone they love is going to die later that day
>pros at a chess tournament who spend eternity 1-upping one another

>these girls never talk to each other at school so he's curious why they're all together now
>suddenly they start running and screaming and throwing their bodies around
>they're yelling out shit like "super love prism blast" and "combination heart friendship attack"
>boy is mortified to realize that they're all chuuni as fuck
>just as tries to leave and pretend he didn't see anything, he trips and makes a lot of noise
>popular girl rushes to him and pins him to the ground as if she's trying to shield him from something
>the next day popular girl confesses to the boy that she's a magical girl and that she's protecting the earth from an army of invisible demons that only her and the other magical girls can see
>she seems completely serious about all this. boy still pretty sure she's chuuni as fuck
>since he saw their battle, she begs him not to tell anyone about the whole magical girl thing
>boy keeps getting tangled up in the girl's weird chuuni fantasy. ends up befriending her and the four other girls
>he spends the series trying to trick them into admitting that they're just chuuni as fuck and that invisible demons are not real. but as the series goes on the boy starts doubting himself because he can't ever trip them up or catch them in a lie
>to make matters worse, he and the popular girl begin to fall for each other. but she always runs off at the worst possible times to fight invisible demons. boy fears that outright telling the girl he doesn't believe her and to stop her chuuni fantasy will result in the popular girl not wanting to hang out with him anymore
>will MC discover the truth about magical girls and invisible demons or will he spiral into madness and lose himself to this autistic chuuni fantasy?

MC is a female healer at a local temple. She takes pride on her helping others and doing the right thing.

One night a strange injured man is delivered for treatment, turns out to be a vampire, and attacks our MC. She passes out and wakes up 2 days later to find out she is constrained by her fellow healers and townspeople talking about how to deal with her. They decide to end her to stop the vampirism and our MC can only barely escape with her life.

Story would be about her inner conflictions of being a decent human being and having to kill and feed for her own survival as she descends into corruption.

I'd read it.

It's the first time I hear this

Why does this remind me of la pucelle?

I had a this dream the other night, and in the morning I realized it might be a good plot for an anime. As dreams are, there were plenty of inconsistencies that I haven't patched up.

MC-kun sits at home in front of the PC, playing games or browsing the net. Suddenly behind him opens a portal from where in a hurry wounded, fatigued figure emerges that drops on the ground breathing heavily. Right after her (you guessed right) from the portal arrows, axes and spears fly only to hit opposite wall. MC-kun hears sounds of an ongoing battle going on the other side of the portal which starts shrinking and finally disappears.

MC-kun finds qt waifu druid/shaman/wizard girl on the ground that it appears fled from the battle opening a portal, due to inexperience/hurry she landed in your world. She holds closely to her chest a pouch with unknown content, she is unconscious and feverish. MC-kun takes care of her.
MC-kun once she wakes up makes her bowl of eggs (I literally dreamed of making bowl of eggs). Her first thought is to look for a pouch. which she finds near her bed, she is visibly confused and scared but try to remain calm. Druid-chan tries to use magic, but she fails, it seems that she is either drained, or lost her magic, or this world isn't suitable for that. She tries to speak but MC can't understand (then I dreamed that I run her Voyager Golden Record with ancient languages to determine her origin, but that doesn't run well with anime so I guess she can somehow speaks MC-language).

Here dream ends, but I imagine the story then resolves around:
Druid-chan introduction to modern world
Druid-chan search of magic in this world, they do some rituals
MC-kun struggles to keep her 'under cover' in front of friends and family as 'foregin exchange student'
MC-kun search for the origin of Druid-chan (using modern info) and tries to help her
Fights or runs with other wizards or monsters that portaled to this world in search of pouch content etc.
Rom-com elements

What if the MC is a girl too and the tone is in the style of Nozaki-kun meets Sakura Trick? Also, the manga stays as a shonen romance with a male MC and cupid escapades feature both hetero and homo couples while the main characters vehemently try their best to suppress their attraction towards each other.

Magic exists but it is illegal (and largely obsolete).
A shadowy quasi-legal organization is permitted to use limited magic to enforce this law.
As the sole legal practitioners of magic 'the organization' has become corrupt and very powerful.

This leads to the development of anti-magic, a dangerous derivation of pure rational logic.
Only the most joyless and pedantic of creatures can use Anti-Mg techniques, naturally they are found on the internet.

Two people realized that no matter what, they always resurrect as their 15 year-old selves near where they die or got killed that time, after being involved in accidents that they thought to have finally claimed their miserable lives. But in reality, what happens is one of them resurrects when the other dies. Their "another life" last 35 years on average, hence the belief that their resurrection process takes roughly 35 years.

At first, the story revolves around them trying to find a way to end the "curse," but after getting over their depression at some point, transitions to them trying to find each other using hints they manage to gather while helping other people with their problems.
