Despite the overall generic premise and plotline, the characters can carry Yuuki Yuuna. One problem with Akame (amongst many) was shit characters all got the spotlight. Moralfaggot and the Louise clone were a mistake--Wave and Imouto were, like, just superior versions of those two but forced into the role of secondary characters. And the titular character was barely even IN Akame ga Kill, what the fuck. At least Yuuki Yuuna IS THE HEROINE (ignoring how these first episodes in this second season are prequel featuring Sonico and younger Wasshi being a best.)
