Why is sex such a rarity in anime?

...

because it's for children

Because nips don't like explicit sex in their media

99% of the time it doesnt add anything to the stort

why ?

Shamfur dispray.

>because it's for children
pfff

Only women want to see it and 99% of them in Japan prefer yaoi

>because it's for manchildren
ftfy

Different culture. The lack of sex in anime is actually a good thing in my opinion because I'm tired of western media shoving sex into everything.

which spice and wolf episode is this

Shit bait

S2, ep 9

kek

Kuzu no Honkai ep.4

Why did every girl in that show cried while having sex? Even the supposed slut, why would a slut cry like some extra virginal girl when she knows the ins and outs of love making. She shouldn't be scared anymore.

so I can self insert

>telling lies on the internet
For what reason?

The mangaka has no idea how people have sex

Something about their sad and/or sinister feelings overshadowing the joy or whatever. It's retarded

Because stupid nips want anime girls to stay virgin

Not for the slut. Sex was supposed to make those feelings go away for a moment. That was the entire point of her slutiness

Because it's hard for the fanbase to relate to

Personally i think Parasyte handled sex really really well. The relationship between the two characters wasn't the main focus of the show but it was always there.

Them eventually hooking up did feel 'spur of the moment' but also natural and realistic too, especially with what they were going through.

Because sex in anime/mangas only exist for show "whoa, she ´s slut" or hilarious situations impossible in real life

Modern anime is aimed to otakus and they're terrified of sex

This.
It's just odd to see some shit like GoT get praised as a "groundbreaking, mature masterpiece", when I'm only seeing lazy, immature slog.

The USA is at a very strange place culturally. The extremely sexually reserved protestant culture is still lingering, yet our jewish-corporate media depicts pornographic and fetishized sex on mainstream outlets incessantly, and then porn consumption is at epidemic levels

Oh my god yea. GoT is just so fucking trashy. It's gore and porn for no other reason than to have gore and porn

GoT is the definition of wasted potential. It had the chance to be something truly great but it just decided to focus on pointless shock value.

It's not just the USA. It's the same with European countries.

Different culture

because once it happens the female is used goods, and nobody wants used goods

The idea of the erotic has never been able to take root. The pornographic came too fast and too quick,

Because it would drive purityfags to suicide. They really should kill themselves.

Sex breaks the 2D.

Because purityfags won't spend money of their waifu isn't a virgin

>It had the chance to be something truly great
Where? The story is not great. It started falling apart after Season 1 and just became a meaningless procession of varying events and characters punctuated by attempts at shock value

I'm kinda glad, I'd rather not have typical anime "senpai senpai sex daisuki!" writing.
I suppose I could read shoujo, but if I wanted rape and NTR I'd rather just go straight to hentai.

If purityfags are such an issue why do so many VNs have sex in them?

Because the player is their selfinsert, idiot.

Japan is a nation of cucks who can't get laid

Trashy slut detected. Sup Forums is for pure little girls only.

Same with plenty of anime though.

Because MCs are always beta faggots

Even kissing is rare for couples.

The waifus
>Sansa: Ojou Kuudere **
>Arya: Sukebon Tsundere (also a reverse trap)
>Cersei x Jamie: Greatest love story ever told

**best girl

It is haram

It's for the thinking adult, not the stagnated teen western demographic.

Because anime's main demographic are manchildren who have little to no experience with women and have developed a loathing for the opposite sex stemming from social isolation. Unless anime depicts their female """ characters""" as one dimensional caricatures of pure maidens they are often not received well by today's otaku community.

But you aren't actively picking which girl to sex up in anime.

...

Actual sex is more for the thinking man than recycled misunderstood panty shots

8/10. Made me smile.

Exactly. Japan's fetish for virginity is so deeply ingrained into their minds that even a woman having sex in a pure and loving relationship is considered "tainted." It reminds me of those virginal otaku who got upset about that girl from Kannagi being in a relationship with another guy, even though she was a several hundred year old spirit/goddess thing.

I don't know, anime doesn't have a lot of explicit sex (because you risk becoming porn), but its rather over the top in terms of being perverted. Even compared to western media. Light novels also seem to have plenty of sex these days generally spesking

>put peen in hole
>4deep6me

ITT: losers who think Japan is sex-free and some holy ground when people have sex as much as in any other country, its just a touchy subject in media due to the government trying to keep an outward appearance to other countries.

>Because anime's main demographic are manchildren who have little to no experience with women.

Does this really make sense? Given how much fanservice there is and doujins of everything. And in general people who don't any in real life want it at least in fiction.

People just can't be assed to deal with TV censorship standards in nipland and whatever inane reason they could think of.

Every other form of nip media that isn't anime has a lot of sex.

Main audience can't relate.

>Every other form of nip media that isn't anime has a lot of sex
This.

>Watched too much hentai and forgot that sex hardly ever exist in anime.

It's pathetic that humans reproducing is for some reason a taboo topic

I guess you can't use sex as a behavioral incentive if it's normal and present in art

A lot of people want used good, unfortunately. If they didn't women wouldn't be so keen to fuck around.

>keep an outward appearance to other countries.
No.

Even kisses are rare and is usually used as a seal of a relationship for a pair of characters. Sex happens rarely so when it does happen we can finally go "yes they finally fucked" and close the story for the couple from our end too

this
Japan if anything is more perverted than most countries because they try to actively promote sex in other forms to stop their dwindling population from going anywhere

>anime is just so much better
GoT Season's 1 - 4 were pretty well done
and everything has to have some degree of shock value otherwise we wouldn't watch it

...

>People just can't be assed to deal with TV censorship standards in nipland
Sounds stupid but I can see it.

Go home Sup Forums, you're drunk.

>I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about.

This always actively infuriates me. I'm not a fan of America's oversexed culture, with unbridled hedonism being the name of the game. Sex should be respected as a sacred act with actual fucking consequences for engaging in it.

That said, Japan's (specifically otaku) purity obsession goes straight into possessive and virginal madness. Sex is an integral part of any romantic relationship. But the Jap otakus abhor even basic physical intimacy, let alone sex which stunts the development of actual, healthy relationships. The outrage over Kannagi, over idols and VAs who must remain """pure""", and anything else that offends their delicate sensibilities is absolutely ridiculous.

And when you consider all the fanservice, the panty shots, the lewd misunderstandings, and all the ecchi and hentai out there, it becomes especially egregious. Sex and love as a concept has degenerated as much as it has in the US, with the difference being it's socially autistic shut ins who influence how the culture around it goes.

Just read the books.

He's not wrong - porn, birth control, and the internet have changed the relationship landscape and our ideas of sex *immensely*. We are still in the throws of this social revolution and only now seeing the full effects of it being born out.

>everything has to have some degree of shock value
what the fuck are you talking about

For a country with so many nukiges, porn mags, literotica, and an h-doujin scene big enough to eclipse the sun it sure is pretty weird how little sex in anime they have shown on the tv.

Though then again we did literally just get those shorts that are pretty much hentai.

The Nips should be commended for at least trying to hold some concept of aesthetic or sensual beauty over that of the outright pornographic.

Because you can't show something the vast majority of you audience has no frame of reference for.

yeah, it irks me that the majority of animes handle

sex = rape story

basically

Anime does this weird thing where people get into sexual situations accidentally or when one person is practically molesting the other. But rarely does it happen straight up consensually.

It shows you have no idea how TV is in Japan and all asian countries. Regular TV is full of sex - they even have actual TV shows where they have sex as contests.

This is exactly what is happening here with animu.

Fucking femanons advocating sluts in anime, please leave

>different culture
Which culture allows explicit sex on prime time TV?

Where are disney sex animated scenes?

the panty shots and so on are an example of their weird doublethink. the characters themselves can't be sexual, but they can be sexualized, so long as they don't have any agency in it. fucking creepy.

you haven't actually seen anime fanservice, have you? it's not sensual, it's gross. vacuum-sealed underwear and improbably-large and elastic tits.

>time to roll out my favorite reply image

Go complain to someone who cares.

>Where are disney sex animated scenes?
Disney at least has a kiss and a start of a relationship at the end. Anime seems terrified of it even with all the bouncing boobs and pantyshots.

Go back to where you came from.

We need more shows like Kuzu no Honkai.

What's with all these low test herbivores?

Then why are you here, fag?

They don't want to deal with censorship and plenty of guys are fine with the tease.
Also sex scenes are rarely necessary in the majority of anime. I have trouble thinking of places where they would add anything in my more liked series. Outside of romances, which from my experience do include implied sex unless it's about high schoolers, though it only sometimes deserves a spot.

But if that the case why so many VN have sex in them ?

japanese are even more twisted than burgerstan.

Burgers pioneered the massive porno industry and produced the most disgusting fetishes on massive scales.
But on the other hand, it is impossible to even show your breasts in normal television or post 100% harmless pictures of naked toddlers playing in a garden. Nudity is automatically stigmatised as something harmful.
These massive differences lead to a really unhealthy body relationship and sexual development.

Nips are similiar. there are massive barriers for a sexual development of kids and young adults. Blocking them to get into a healthy relationship with themselves and they enviroment. And a few years down the line, a massive cash-grab industry is waiting with oversexualised media, from pedophilia to tentacle rape.

This thread cares. The differing portrayals of sex in different medias, and the reasons behind it, are relevant to the thread that you entered. The only person you're fooling here is yourself.

...

This. It was the best romance in years.

>The Nips should be commended for at least trying to hold some concept of aesthetic or sensual beauty over that of the outright pornographic.

What are you talking about? Most anime fanservice looks something like this.

I've been very annoyed at the lack of (implied) sex and relationship progression in general.

It's very rare for relationships to ever go anywhere in anime, no matter if the characters are high school kids or adults. You have characters spending months and months of in-series time without even asking someone out, much less getting a kiss or having sex. In contrast, in real life things tend to move very quick if there is chemistry and especially if it is not "my first middle school bf/gf" situation.

My conclusion is that
is right - the core audience has no to very little experience of relationships and thus the representation in animation needs to be of this near impossible task with progression of tiny almost non-existing increments, when in practice it's often just 2-3 meetings worth of development and having the balls to make your intent clear. This leads to further drift with more "adjusted" viewers - they cannot relate to the shows and are turned off by the spineless characters making 0 progress, further feeding into the spiral of only manchilds watching anime. This also probably contributes to high amount of people "graduating" from anime after they become better adjusted to real life. This was at least the case for me - I went from kissless virgin manchild watching shows with strong romance elements to just watching anime for eyecandy and powerlevels since the romance is so unrealistic.

>Burgers
Dear friend it's like you haven't approached the Jewish question yet.
