Favorite Miyazaki movie?

Favorite Miyazaki movie?

Porco.

That one is my 2nd favorite.

Porco overall, Mononoke in terms of story, and Spirited Away in terms of visuals.

Yu-Gi-Oh.

...

>Mononoke in terms of story
ugh

The one you watched first.

More like storytelling and setting. Honestly, Miyazaki's stories never really blew me away. I think he's one of the weaker ones at Ghibli in terms of actual story content.

the manga is way better

Good taste

the cat returns

Nausicca, in part because I still find it one of his most visually stunning works, and that's saying something. Although I will say I'm particularly fond of The Cat Returns, but that's just Ghibli, not Miyazaki.

His plots are simple but they're backed up by excellent cinematography & visuals. Part of what's come to make him so popular, I think.

Castle in the Sky.

Definitely not the best one but the whole terra incognita theme gives me a wanderlust boner.

because the manga is better, the movie can't be good?

Elder god tier comfy

you made this thread on Sup Forums yesterday you crossposting scum

>Part of what's come to make him so popular, I think
Yeah, stuff like Only Yesterday is pretty normal, despite being great, so normalfags don't notice it. It has to be over the top with demons and shit to get their attention.

The only non Miyazaki Ghibli the common person would recognize would be Grave of the Fireflies

attack on titan

Mononoke or Laputa.

It'd be The Wind Rises, but I feel like it ends too abruptly.

He killed millions

well fuck now I have to watch it

Totoro for the patrician answer
