Actual CG typewriter

>actual CG typewriter

Bleh. This isn't at all like in the PV. Why did you guys hype this shit? Do they want to be like SHAFT?

>Why did you guys hype this shit
because kyoani

>CGI hands
They fucking betrayed us

>tfw just found out that the show was made with Netflix's money, not completely out of their pocket

Their own IP and they can't even put their own money to the table so they sell out. How low have they fall?

at least it's shaded correctly

The hands are hand-drawn.

Will this take the spot of Hyouka as the anime who has the most "style-over-substance"?

That was bake

Style is substance, dumbass.

>he thinks it's bad when anime studios get financial help

Why exactly do you not want big budget shows?

>Style is substance, dumbass.

Which universe are we in?

>I have absolutely no idea how the anime industry works
sasuga shitposter

Fuck off spic

>2017
>still being a CGI contrarian

>A Kyoani show is shit

It looks bad, man. It just does. Not always. It can be hidden well. But often it's not hidden well, and it looks like crap. It's overused.

CGI isn't anime. If Japanese studios want to become Pixar, they should all just abandon animation and go and do that. But stop trying to make CGI look like anime. It does't look good, it doesn't work.

It only looks bad if you're intentionally looking for CG to criticize or if you're a newfag and don't remember what actual bad CG looked like.

>Ultimatebetamax, Kvin along with the sakuga cartel have been praising this shit non-stop
>New PV comes out and has underwhelming animation
>CGI everywhere
>They damage control making posts about how that's totally not how Violet looks and that Kyoani just blindly chose random shots from the finished episodes that happen to be the most average looking scenes, to make the PV

So much for sakuga of 2018

Nobody cares, keep it on twitter.

>nobody cares
>yet user replies, showing that he indeed cares

What did you mean by this?

>sakugafags

>CGI isn't anime.
Get over it, CGI is here to stay, and as technology improves, it will be more and more common than drawn frames. The good thing is that it will also look less jarring too.

CGI is animation, which is anime. "Anime" isn't a style.

Technology is already improved, and the CGI still looks like trash

Kyoanifags are delusional, why even bother?

> they can't even put their own money to the table
Anime studios never do anime using only their own money. They use their money mostly only if they want to exceed budget and do something cool.
