I shit you not, my school is going to expel anyone who goes outside, they have teachers in front of every door, and everyone who was going to walkout is forced into the gym..... I’m not a lefty but this is funny as hell

Good. You are literally children and your stupid symbolic walkout means nothing to the adult world

nice digits
you are right, it's an indoctrination camp:
6 Functions of public schooling from the Inglis Lecture
1. Adjusted function - Schools are to establish fixed habits of reactions to authority
2. Integrating/Conformity function - Make children as alike as possible, gifted and stupid kids are grouped together
3. Directive function - School is to diagnose your proper social role, log the evidence so that people can restrict your growth in the future
4. Differentiating function - Layers do not intermingle, teach only the requirement of that layer and restrict the flow of information
5. Selective function - Assessing the breeding quality of the student to prevent the poor from breeding, promote shallow thinking and consciously change the breeding stock using humiliation, lower grades, and remedial education
6. Propedeutic function - A Roman function that assigns a leadership role to a small select group of students like the honor roll

Sounds alright to me. I'm all for political expression, but at some point you have to set boundaries for children.

When one of those kids is hit by a car, is the school at fault?

>tfw when u blue you're self

my former school is being cucks about it leting the kids walk with no punishment, let me know if you guys want the livestream link

You have to be 18 to post here

are lectures in americans unis mandatory?

all my lectures had voluntary attendence

this

I live in Oregon and my 12 year old daughter is being forced to walk out. Her teachers said that it's mandatory. What a fucking world.

Step 1: Go outside.
Step 2: Get expelled.
Step 3: Create outrage at school.
Step 4: ???
Step 5: Profit.

>there aren't 19-year-old nazis in high school

Walked out of school 4 years ago.

>Forces into the gym

Get BIGGG 4 SCOOOPS

Context?

>PAPA SMURF IS A COMMUNIST!
Smurf society has no currency.
Each Smurf fills a role in society.
As per that scheme, there is only ONE WOMAN SMURF.
Gargamel is the capitalist who wants to turn the smurfs, the laborers, into LITERAL GOLD.
papa smurf has only one role: to be Stalin of the society.
HE WEARS A RED HAT. THE SMURFS ARE FUCKING COMMIES. WAKE UP Sup Forums

I wouldn’t be surprised if their actually is a school shooting today

>school

If a teacher dares lay a hand on you, grab the hand and shove it down your pants. They know how much trouble they will get in, they know children's lied can get them murdered. Whisper to them sweetly, "you are a rapist now".

Don't play by their own rules or you'll get nowhere.

"The nationwide protest is both a memorial and protest action. Students and teachers across the United States will walk out of their schools and universities to honor the lives of the 17 people killed at Stoneman Douglas and press lawmakers to pass stricter gun control laws, according to EMPOWER, the group organizing the action".

Pparticipants want Congress to:
>Ban assault weapons
>Require universal background checks before gun sales
>Pass a gun violence restraining order law that would allow courts to disarm people who display warning signs of violent behavior

Gargamel is the jew. I'm not shitting you. Look at the name of his cat and his crooked nose.

And he created smurfette using potions and magic as a way to subvert the all-bro smurf society.

Wait, and the university professors are against this protest? That doesn't sound like them?

Aaahhahahhaha

Wow it's as if school is a place of learning and walking out removes the ability for the school to do its one fucking job and teach its students.

Can I have a bit of context here?

>get interned 6 hours later and put on mind numbing meds until you hit 18, then release to public
shrinks are getting EXTREMELY EFFICIENT at debunking little shitheads scheming because little retards think they can play a system that's currently being played by bigger players than they are

>muh political expression
Please. Protesting accomplishes literally nothing. Standing there with stupid signs chanting the same thing over and over again? That's what losers do. Surely you agree.

It's true! I remember watching that episode and being confused that it wasn't jamming women's rights and equality in my face.

>Multi-dimensional shit post.
Schools don't assign leadership to honor roll students. Schools, teachers, etc. assign insults to nerds.

schools lose gibs everytime a student is absent

and they lose major gibs when a certain % of the student body is not present regularly

they used to have truant patrols at my school, literally dudes in vans rounding up all the ditchers and dragging them back into school

Losers of this sort, yes. This is obviously communist agitation and not a legitimate protest.

And now the police are here because a bunch of people ran outside

>tfw was in high school until I was 20
>tfw dropped out months before graduation

is this related to how obeying planned disobedience isn't actually disobedience?

I’m hearing in some schools that the walkout is mandatory.

Seriously though I was in highschool when columbine happened this is all cockshit. Why not bullshit? Because bulls actually shit.
The response back then was just to make humor illegal and also make illegal to be a man and come to school with a backpack or a coat. That was pretty fucked, this is way more fucked.
OP so long as you can still laugh at tragedy you're ok in my book. The minute they take that away from you you're fucked.

I think these are teenagers.

>tfw was in high school when the Iraq war started
>tfw we did a walkout to protest it
>15 years later and trillions of dollars down the drain nothing has changed

Do your family own a bump stock?
Fucking head on it like a zit

Good. I am glad your school is handling this correctly. Now put down your phone and pay attention to the teacher.

>forced into gym
>beta virgin with FULL SEMI-AUTOMATIC AR-15 COMES IN
>starts shooting at over a hundred kids tightly packed into a gym
>teachers get sent to jail for life for being accomplices in a mass murder

Nobody needs a fully semi-automatic military rifle.

Anecdotally, they don't seem to be living up to these standards very well.

This is high schoolers. University students are adults and can do whatever they want.

Your school is based as fuck. I wish I went to that school. Be proud to be a part of that shit.

Lul looks like murica is evn worse than we imagined

Yeah, I'm a senior and my high school in Alabama has like 20 Jewish kids... guess who forced the conservative administration to let them do this...
We don't have to go, and I'm not going
The jews are behind it all

Oh damn Heaven's Gate. I remember that.
The 90's were a decade long rollercoaster.

You can show up to a lecture any time, all lectures can be attended to for free.

Will you get any course materials or participate in labs, or receive assignments? No. You can learn anything you want for free, but you won't get the piece of paper unless you pay tuition and all that good business.

>Inglis Lecture
read you stupid nigger
bomb/terrorist/fire drills for the first
elimination of gifted programs for the second
permanent record for the third
restricting the flow of information between grades for the fourth
detention/suspension for the fifth
last is self explanatory

And also suffer the consequences of your actions. You are required to attend classes. The University should not be making exceptions in order to promote a political agenda. Anyone who walks out of a University class should receive the appropriate punishment according to school policy and the class syllabus.

I hope so, these little pretentious fags deserve it

>You are required to attend classes.
lmao

Not in the first world, where university is still for adults.

In high school yes, but for university it depends on the professor. Some don't care, but others will automatically fail you if you miss a certain percentage of classes.

"I'm transgender" and if they touch me with any anti-psychs they go to fucking prison.

>t. Capitalist Swine Snork

youtube.com/watch?v=IYjjWPvL9j0
CNN agrees with you.

What are you talking about? You have to be a paying student to attend and registered to the class. Nothing is free.

The best part is when he's like
>I'm going to fire about five rounts fully semi-automatic
>I probably won't even hit the target

I couldn't have scripted a more nonsensical segment if you paid me.

I hope it's done with an 18th century black powder cannon with grape shot.

"The second amendment only applies to guns that existed... ... ... Well I guess it's okay then"

Lol

Not to attend.

And your still a virgin.

very funny. but your lucky, i would find a way to sneak on home should people go outside

You misunderstand, manchild. As an adult you voluntarily enter into an agreement by enrolling in the class. You arw free to come and go as you please. You are aldo free to suffer the consequences of your actiins. I realize that cause and effect is a dangerous concept not comoatible with indoctrination in your socialist dystopia. I cant imagine what possible value your university degree would have in a system run like a daycare for irresponsible adults.

You realize Uni is voluntary, right?

bullshit, there have been some examples of them working.
like during the chichano movement

Thats exactly what I said. Reread my comment.

thank you, I am tired of being the only one to point out that at no point in human existence has a protest solved dick. Violent riots? That is another subject entirely, but a bunch of blacks walking around for civil rights didn't accomplish shit. A bunch of folks walking around protesting with "pussy hats" didn't amount to dick. Why waste the time, life is short and actions speak loudly.

>americans love the 2nd amendment cause they hate the british and want to revolt against an established power
>americans hate kids protesting with their 1st amendment rights against an established power

Really makes you think

You're not required to attend class in any university I've ever been to or heard of.

American universities must be run like a fucking kindergarten. I'm imagining tenured professors taking fucking roll call and it's retarded enough that I fucking believe it probably happens in yankland.

No wonder every American I meet on Sup Forums is fucking braindead.

The only consequence should be that you miss out on the lecture that you paid to go to.

American freedom = freedom for me, tyranny for thee.

don't feel bad protests have never accomplished anything, walking outs like this annoy the schools that rely on attendance for cash, but other than that these kids are harming themselves by not learning.

Don't encourage these stupid faggots. They just want to be off for the day. No one cares.

Attached: b97.jpg (1594x1600, 171K)

Children do not have full rights.

I'm calling bullshit unless you provide some evidence.

I don't think I've ever been subjected to roll call, but it's not unheard of to have an attendence policy. I think it's more of an excuse for failing out an obvious problem case. Closest thing to enforcement I've ever experienced was a weekly quiz or something that you'd have to show up for if you wanted your final grade to not get kicked in the balls.

>protests have never accomplished anything
>what is boston tea party
>what is french revolution
>what is union strikes

Children are fully protected under the first amendment.

Luckily I have a wife, but stuck working at walmart for the rest of my life.

Half of schools are sponsoring the walkout. It's just faux rebellion if the school or city endorses it. It's not even a statement, it's a pep rally for easily manipulated teenagers to feel important.
At least the schools that ban it are making it at least a little meaningful.

To be honest, it's pretty fucking gay. A lot of these kids are just using this as an excuse not to be in class, no one really wants to be there. They would rather be doing something else.

If any of those fucks genuinely agree with this gun control mantra that this 'protest' is slinging then I hope they get supreme gentlemen'd. If people were kinder to each other, and treated each other better then there wouldn't be school shootings. If post modernism wasn't injected into our society in such huge doses and in such obvious ways, abject nihilism wouldn't grip students. There wouldn't be people utterly disgusted with their existence, that they want to do one final protest. They probably walk out of their school and bully the quiet kid in the same breath on the same day.

Shitty humanities courses generally have some participation component (either attendance in tutorials or a weekly quiz done online) here, but real degrees just let you fail out if you fuck it up. There's never participation components in lectures though, just tutorials.

Degrees with a practical component usually have that assessed over the length of the degree in workshops, as I understand it. I've not done one of those, though.

what are you even talking about? changes come from the top down, not from peaceful grassroots movements. Those gatherings have yet to make a single dent in the universe because most of these moments are categorized by an outsized contingent of lazy ner-do-wells. El movimiento didn't do jack shit. prove me wrong, you cant. People working hard to improve their lives and community? YUP that changes things. Screaming in the street holding a sign? NEVER solved one fucking thing on this awful planet. Change your flag you dont deserve to call yourself a pirate somali scum.

It's not a count day, so it doesn't really matter.

Sadly yes. I actually flunked a class in college. German. The prof required you to attend all classes since "constant immersion is necessary to learn" and she flunked me after I missed two classes, despite the fact I was making an A.

Attached: 1463701031300.jpg (544x425, 91K)

I left school when I was 15 and never looked back. American schools are indoctrination camps for the feeble minded.

>violent uprisings
peaceful protests. peaceful protests have NEVER moved the needle in society. Violence? Yeah that always works, funny huh.

You didn't reply cause you know you're wrong mate ;) get an education

That's similar to my experience. A lot of the real degree classes you could skip the lectures and do alright as long as you knew you weren't missing out on any important announcements or material you didn't know.

A lot of them had recitations on non-lecture days where it would be harder to skip out because even though it was just some grad student TA, it often involved some amount of in-class work that would count toward the grade. Or at least you'd basically get to work through whatever would be on an exam ahead of time so you didn't have to improvise when it counted.

>moving the goalposts
You said protests :)

I would not consider the boston tea party a protest. maybe we should agree on the definition. Is violence involved? not a protest. French revolution was a protest? You said it yourself, it was a revolution and a deliciously bloody one at that. you aren't even trying with your semantic loop de loops yet you say I'm pushing goalposts? try again son

Schools are indoctrination camps and the way some of you are acting is proof

>doesn't really matter
ah the mantra of middle america

How is the boston tea party not a protest? They were protesting against the british forcing the colonists to only buy east indian company tea. You're moving goalposts so argue where you first placed them first mate :)

Read: Because when we redpill the normies they will want to rope the cultural marxists as much as we do.

If a recitation is like a tutorial (seems to be from quick Googling) it's the same here, except only shitty universities and first year courses give you free marks for in-class work.
