Ok, anime with decent tournament arcs allowed too.
Just post on my thread please.

This is kinda sad, you should have just made a medabots thread.

Haha user your thread sucks!

Tournament of Power

I know my thread is shit but there is no reason for you to make fun of it

just let it die

the joy of bullying...

Wtf happened

>There was a medabots sequel with cute girls and yuri undertones

Holy shit how did I miss this?

Did it really suck?

Why am I not aware of this?

When they lose, their clothes get ripped apart.

>3DS is region locked

The biggest crime. Fortunately Nintendo fixed that with Switch. Girl Mission 2 when

>Its a game

Damn my EOPness, sounds like it would be really fun though.

medabots spirit fucked up everything way before that came along.

For now. I wouldn't be surprised if someone capitalizes on this concept now that cute girls doing things is a popular genre. Studio KyoAni get on this shit.

To be fair it basically already got made two seasons ago.

>Medabots will never get animated again

...

sasuga

...

>they would make the bots in cg nowadays
>people wold defend it

Damn I don't remember this show being this well animated

i remembered it being well animated but not like THIS too.

i guess it's time to download it, dunno why i didn't before.

the GBA medabots game was fun too

I always felt that Medabots was by far the best of the many merchandise based battle shonen that came after Pokemon.

Why is it so dead nowadays compared to other stuff like Digimon, Beyblade and Yu-Gi-Oh!?

Kife Edge Death Match?

>Why is it so dead nowadays compared to other stuff like Digimon, Beyblade and Yu-Gi-Oh!?
guess how many of the games got localized

Lack of interest apparently, I blame the marketing for that, medabots just ended up being an underdog forever. The games with the girls used to sell enough to warrant a sequel in Japan until recently.

I loved the concept and execution of medabots, especially how it changed from the super detailed artstyle to Imaishi's flat fun drawings (also robot upskirts) shame it never caught on.

>Why is it so dead nowadays compared to other stuff like Digimon, Beyblade and Yu-Gi-Oh!?

because it had to compete with other mecha/robot themed games.

At least it outlived Robopon. But no way it was gonna beat the gundam games.

The episode in question

youtube.com/watch?v=0lmHcdyPobE

I oddly remember an episode where Ikki gets tricked into a bathhouse with some hot girls who end up being the guys from the evil team, such a fucking cockblock, I was so weirded out as a kid.

>medabots will never get a video upgrade like gundam G did.
this world is unfair.

>Say what?

>The part where they get confused who Rokusho is talking to

This anime was such a gold mine.

all I remember is how much I called JAX on the lion medabot thing

>trying to crush medabee's face
brutal. so does anyone have a link to download the medabot series?

>Be a professional story teller
>Reuses the age old trope of tournament arc

Subs or dubs?
Do they have different OSTs?

Never. Medabots officially died right after.

It's getting an anniversary collection so not completely dead.

I know it's just a collection of the old games but weren't the devs completely bankrupt?
I wish someone revived this series already.

Reporting in.

was this the beginning of monster girl fetish?

I wonder if it would get emulated.

Yes.

I always thought these designs were so sick as a kid.
Still pretty cool.

I remember the shitty Medabots sequel that had several major characters written out with no explanation.

what was that?

The series done by Production IG. They wrote out Koji, Karin and others.

We don't talk about

The worst part was Mr Referee was nowhere in that particular sequel.

Angelic Layer was a pretty good tourney show, full of good old CLAMP sexual tension and decent story telling. I like how the ending subverted the usual Tourney show structure too.

>tournament is finished in two episodes
