>Ancap logic

I've only been to Toys R Us maybe four times in the last eight years for last minute Christmas shopping for my niece. My local one was like a third world hellhole with nothing but 56%ers and niggers letting their children run around doing whatever they wanted, and all the clerks were Muslims except for this one white trash looking chick I saw last year who looked absolutely miserable. I remember it being a much happier and friendlier environment when I was a kid. Most of the customers weren't even speaking English.

When you can get whatever you want ordered to your doorstep for cheaper than what it would cost you if you went down to your local toy store, then it's no surprise that places like this are going out of business. It's not like this is some kind of spontaneous event, either. Toys "R" Us and places like it have been on death row for years.

it an hard knock life for Toys R us

Bye, Geoffrey.

Goodbye Geoffery...you made the 80's a magical time, before the darkness fell...

Fuckin (((Bezos)))

Not shocked. Much like shopping malls, TRU's middle-class customer base has moved on to Amazon and the like, while the discount option meant competing with Wal-Mart and Target and such.

Like FAO Schwarz (which ironically, they bought out and sold stuff under the name), they're now a relic of a time when Americans actually had to go into a shop to get goods.

They wouldn't be going out of business if they did.

The internet is certainly more convenient but I'm vaguely sad I'll never be able to take my kids on a surprise trip to the toy store like my folks did

I got my first computer from Toys r Us around 30 years ago when I was 4 years old. Pic related

RIP

I think this is happening to most retail, at least the 'big box' stores. Whites basically use online shopping now

about time, who needs toys in a world of virtual gaming. Get Steam, Battle.net for Kids

no one wants to be autistic anymore on old shit, when you can be autistic on a tablet. and it's safer.

this except the 90's for me

RIP Stephen Hawing

Mitt Romney literally killed Toys R Us (and KB Toys)

You do realize that Varg's disliking of capitalism is from a national socialist view point and not a communist view point right? Both ideologies denounce capitalism. Varg is in no way a supporter of any form of Marxism

Thank Amazon anons.

And keep ordering from them, I'm sure once they've destroyed all their competition, they will keep prices low for you.

No chance of horrendous monopoly at all...
They aren't connected to the CIA and Deep state at all.
They don't get the Post Office to subsidise them either.

Checked and keked.

anyone buying old toys is a retard, every € an $ should be put into the digital age -> tablet games. Supporting old industry toys is for retards.

the more buttons your toy has to more retarded you are, all you need a flat smooth touch screen.

youtube.com/watch?v=xZ_aY9U9o9w

90's kids will remember this

Develops the same skillsets too.

Not like video game addicts are functional retards.

The biggest brick-and-mortar toy retailer is Wal-Mart

so much winning, economy booming, the best

I don't think I have ever gotten a toy there
Parants got them all from Kmart witch ironicly doing just as shitty and my home town one just closed

God, can't wait to see them go the way of the dodo everywhere, ever since their anti-union bullshit here in the mid 90s I've been boycotting them and encouraging others to do the same.

>They don't get the Post Office to subsidise them either.

No, no they don't you retarded tinfoil occupy nigger

Amazon takes a massive fucking loss on shipping. Anyone who works in an industry in which Amazon competes knows this, Just like anyone who knows shit about computers knows that cloud services and data warehousing is where Amazon makes its money

But that's cool. Muh ebil corporations, right?

It was inevitable
Everyone can say trump this and trump that, but reality is that Amazon simply has replaced the old way of shopping. It’s impersonal, efficient and capitalism at its finest. I’ll miss toys r us, but no more than KayBee toy store and Child’s World.

That being said, I wonder how cheap their items will be. I’m sure every soyim has their eyes locked at all the Star Wars LEGO sets.

FPBP.

I was walking around town a couple of weeks ago and actually saw a brick and mortar amazon book store in the process of opening. They're basically rubbing it in now.

Toys R Us is well overpriced even compared to other stores let alone online shopping.
Stop charging what you think people will pay and charge what it is worth.

too be fair, it also has to do with companies like disney offloading a lot of shit nobody wants to buy that sits around for years, like star wars

Toy stores are a relic of a bygone era, sadly. Kids today just want to play shitty apps and watch porn on their iZombies.

load of bs. toys r us is full of huwytes because only wypipo can afford to pay $30 for some legos

you're lucky if you can find a $30 Lego set, let alone at Toys R Us. Lego has become retardedly expensive

>be lazy boomer parent
>teach your children that things = happiness
>the fondest memories your children have aren't the experience you shared together, but spending money in a soulless shopping mall
Wow, what a loss.

>but reality is that Amazon simply has replaced the old way of shopping
And the big box retailers replaced all of the smaller independently owned businesses that used to be all over America. When they finally figure out how to upload our brains into the cloud online retailers will complain when our disembodied consciousness only buys virtual goods.

toys r fucking stupid. Yeah i was brought up on ho ho ho ( which is 6 6 6 because 6 letters between h and o)..

I believed in a white cracker who was so jolly. I believed a fucking reindeer was on my roof...

the list goes on.

Knowing what i know now, i think parents are fucking baked buying kids dumb plastic bull shit.

Want to use your imagination? fucking invent something. Stop teaching your kids to play.

Strangely, K-mart is doing slightly better than Toys R Us.
They've closed most of their stores over the past few years, but haven't yet been forced to close the entire chain.

>Be user sitting on a Malaysian parliament forum
>Don't know anything about business
>Assume a company goes bankrupt because of online shopping and apps
>Don't even bother taking the time to learn that they tripled their fucking debt with a leveraged buyout three years before an economic crash

got a link sempai?

I think it's funny that people are getting upset about a CHAIN dying to another chain, when they both put local mom and pops out of business

damn..

Speaking of chains, Walmart and Target probably had more to do with Toy R Us going under than amazon, although they certainly didn't help.

"Whatever is it I think I see; becomes a Toys-R'- Us to me."

Wal-Marts days are numbered too.

Noooo. When I was 4 (in 1989), I didn't want to turn 5 because I didn't want to get older because I was a "Toys R US Kid". :(

Attached: 1454623932013.jpg (500x493, 63K)

Good riddance. Toys Я Us is one of many US companies that forced its IT and accounting employees to train their H-1B replacements. Karma's a bitch.

thats fucked were they all from india?

Why did this thread make me smile? Is it cause we're fast on our way to a dystopian future where every form of entertainment is on a screen?

Attached: 1479497274262.jpg (462x500, 46K)

Yes.

Attached: take this.jpg (1280x720, 142K)

I knew this was coming. A few years ago my favorite childhood toy store also went out of business. Toys r Us was an inevitability.

I can't even bring myself to visit my local Toys R Us one last time. I want to remember it how my 8 year old mind remembers it.

i havent looked up the status of elsagate in months. did any MSM ever pick it up?

I'm guessing D.C. area?

It was depressing enough going into my old store a few years ago to find they no longer had the massive K'nex display anymore.

I thought they went out if business years ago.

Future for children everywhere gets bleaker every day and I'm worried they might think of us as second boomers for not stopping it.

ITSA ME MARIO
THANK YOU FOR PLAYING ME NINTENDO 64
GOOD DAY

maybe in your 56% white country but in canada when i was working at toys r us the vast majority of customers were still white. I mean we did have a few asians, niggers and arabs but they were like 1/3 of our customers combined

We were referred to as "Echo Boomers" before "Millennials" caught on. I'm afraid we're already the even worse sequel.

Department stores
grocery stores
book stores
toy stores
hardware stores
sporting goods stores
art supply stores

all things I did with one or both of my parents as a kid. Sure, a lot of times it was boring and at the time, I would have said I hated it, but still, I feel bad for kids who won't get to have any of that.

niggers multiculturalism.
