>Judo Nun
mhm

Noice.

English continues to be really good.

Guys, I have a question about last episode.
If MC is called Sword because he uses a sword, what is vaGina's weapon?

Sword's actually a jerk to Sophie. It's pretty funny.

VAGINA

>armour up
>single slash
>armour down
What is this, fucking YamiTera?

It's just they way it's supposed to normally be for Makai Knights. The armor is the finisher.

Why so dead?

Gina, Sophie are in next week's preview.

No sign of Luke.

Sword must have a hard time buying a dress shirt.

...

>No sign of Luke.
Probably hidden somewhere.

10 bucks that pic related is going to beat up Sword when they first meet

I really like this new Garo.
Sophie a cute and next week will be great too

I can't wait to see more of Gina's ass.

Poor abusive brother

Sophie is going to become a Makai priestess, isn't she?

Would be pretty cool.

Probably.
I really hope the nun beats up Luke or Sword though. Hopefully Sword

On another note very good horror design this week

Why is there only 1 episode per week?
Also will it be 25 or 12 episodes?

>Sophie's brother is voiced by Paku Romi
>Paku Romi's character is called Queen

Confirmed for trans?

This show is by far the most underrated this season, how are so few people watching this?

I just realized that they probably don't have horror-detector bells or whatnot in this Garou.
Otherwise things would be much simpler, right?

We have two already. Another one?

drag

They probably have high techs version or something?

In most GARO series, the supplementary detector device is a lighter. Anyway, the main detector device are the Madou Tools like Zaruba himself.

Let's be honest, that's because it's Garo and there were two previous shows with the last being garbage
Didn't Luke have a detector for horrors?
Just keeping her around without training seems way worse. And she can't become a knight

I just can't wait to see this show's secondary knight and hope he's as cool as Alfonso was.

it's confirmed for two cours already

That's nice. 12 episode Garo would just be wrong

>Just keeping her around without training seems way worse.
I think she's just fine as an "outsider" pov character.

Kaoru never got training either and she did fine.

>Didn't Luke have a detector for horrors?
You're right. I guess it's just odd that every time so far they only take fully confront the horror after it had transformed.

It sounded like Sword knew that the sister was a horror this episode

He did. Which is why I was confused why didn't they just reveal it through their HorrorTinder app.
I suppose the only reason would be because they were in broad daylight, which is understandable.

It's like Garo HnK, that is, the best anime of the season that nobody is watching.

He probably just didn't want Sophie to get hurt in the crossfire. He tried to get her to bugger off and then came by again in the night, after all.

The most probable flow was like this: Sword receives order regarding Father Ripley's case. After some investigation, he narrowed down Mary as the most likely suspect. He went to pay a visit to confirm his guess. Maybe, if Sophie wasn't there he could have dealt with the Horror right there, but instead he had to come up with an advice that would hopefully lead Sophie to leave the house before night (he had to try). Makai Knights should try to avoid the presence of normal humans during their jobs as much as they can.

...

A lot of people simply can't into serious-looking action shows which don't clearly state their main plot since the get-go. This drives them to look for something that they're not getting anytime soon, so they don't pay attention to the other nice things about the shows and end up dropping them. Basically, they expect these shows to follow some fixed template regarding the story progression, which heavily limits their capacity to appreciate a show that doesn't follow it.

Less people, less shitposting.

A 20 dollar smoothie? What the fuck?

Can't wait for Sword to stick his frie inside her special place

There's probably a few reasons for that:
a) the high prices are meant to dissuade normies from eating there
b) it's probably got some magical juju in there
c) the recession really hit Russel City hard
d) Watchdogs pay Knights in solid gold bars, and that shit doesn't grow on trees

Japan could also just not understand American food pricing.

>A lot of people simply can't into serious-looking action shows
Vanishing Line's first episode is a lot but not serious looking.
It's the same level of seriousness as fucking DOOM 2016 and it's amazing

Couldn't help but think of Angelo from 91 Days when they showed his face

>It's the same level of seriousness as fucking DOOM 2016 and it's amazing
This, or Devil May Cry. But with bonus cute from Sophie

why isn't Paku Romi the main girl

Sword is such an asshole, I love him

T H I C C

I mean from a setting standpoint. It's clearly not a comedy-driven gag-show.

So is there any chance that her brother isn't a bad guy at this point?

I mean, it's either that or being dead/eaten. The horrors have simple wants

Well if there was going to be a drag queen horror, it was going to be in not-New York

It'd be pretty funny if it turned out her brother became the Horror from last episode.

Garo with bad animation and without MONACA soundtrack. Dead on arrival.

>Bad animation
Are you serious?

>bad animation
The shaky cam abuse in episode 1 is not bad animation, it's a bad post production choice. It also went away after the first episode.
>without MONACA
Except the soundtrack is done by monaca and it's one of the best things about the show, you grotesque mong

>A lot of people simply can't into serious-looking action shows
Except that I've seen plenty on Sup Forums who don't shut the fuck up about wanting more serious looking anime.
The real reasons are
>Garo is still relatively obscure to anime viewers
>little to no marketing push
>competing in a season with a fuckload of shows and popular sequel seasons (Shokugeki, Kekkai Sensen)
>not tied to a well manga or work (Inuyashiki, Mahoutsukai, Kino)
It's a tiny fish in this season's pond

>>A lot of people simply can't into serious-looking action shows
>Except that I've seen plenty on Sup Forums who don't shut the fuck up about wanting more serious looking anime.

The sentence you cut was meant as a whole unit. People sees the self-contained stories in GARO as "filler" in a series that, by their perception of serious action shows, should focus in a main plot.

These Threads are pretty empty for the second best Anime airing right now

People aren't inherently opposed to episodic stuff as much as you think when Kekkai Sensen's first season was like that until the final 3 episodes or something. Same goes for past somewhat popular shows like Space Dandy

Why does Romi Park voice a boy this time?

Sophie is so fucking stubborn.

Why not?

She voices boys all the time.

So Ripley was an abusive siscon who kept torturing Mary?

Did Gina showed up this episode?

no, next episode
yes

>He's so stupidly large that the tux doesn't fit.
I love it.

He's the Big McLargeHuge meme made flesh, isn't he? Can't say I mind though, he's great.

I didn't think I'd like Garo in New York as much as I do. Yet, here I am.

>pic
cute butt

That wasn't all that scary to me but I had some eerie vibes during that whole scene from the torture tools to the horror transformation.

>things you love
>it's onii chan milk

I was hopping his brother would be the other Makai knight, but that killed that hope

This is the episode where the shipping starts wew

Well it's a Garo show

Doubtful since he's a big guy

It's going to be a pure brother sister relationship you degenerate

>milk
I prefer use dick cheese

And sword is bascially buff nero

>Nero reincarnates as big buff mcswole who gets the girls
>Angelo reincarnates as some puny orphan twerp
Sweet justice

I wish I had the OST already.

Don't die yet, haven't seen the ep.

>Next episode's title is "Ring"
Will they find Jiruba?

Judo nun is amazing

He's amazing

>Still no episode with Sophie eating a giant burger

They really need to step up the American setting. I'd also like more fat people wandering the streets everyone is too skinny to be americlaps.

My point is that hey give it a pass if the show is more comedic in nature/execution.

This is the healthier fantasy America where the percentage of overweight adults isn't ~70%

It would be pretty weird seeing an edgy Sword

Probably just foreshadowing a dark knight
How long until we get a 2nd knight I wonder
