The term 'active shooter' is retarded and needs to be retired. It doesn't mean what people think it means, and it's being used in weird circumstances that don't fit the description. An active shooter means someone who's actively shooting currently. It means an ongoing shooting spree. It doesn't mean someone who killed two people and then got arrested.
Let's make a new rule. In order to use the term active shooter, A) the person must not be dead or apprehended. B) the person must have shot more than 3 people. C) the person must still be shooting. If it doesn't meet this criteria, it's not an active shooter.
