The police woman who arrested Heimbach, Rachael Rodriguez, wasn't sure whether he was white or Hispanic when she arrested him. She said "When you're not sure of the race, you don't list it when you make the arrest, and verify that information later. I felt he might be Hispanic with his black hair and facial features. Now I learn he is a big Nazi leader."
When the domestic violence and other charges were filed, the prosecutors listed Heimbach's race as white. But on the original police report, his race was listed "N/A" while his job was listed as "white nationals."
