Is reading/watching manga/anime comfy on tablet/ipad?

...

It is if you have something to hold it up for you when you are lying down on your back/side. Otherwise, your arms will get tired fast.

Let the tablet play some appropriate music as well for the best experience.

I see. Watching anime on my desk is so not-comfy

ipad/tablet/kindle/nexus/windows tab/e-reader/...etc?

kindle is best

Yep/Yop

but you cant google and watch porn

is ipad pro a waste just for reading manga?

No/Yes

An e-reader is the best choice for reading manga, but reading on a tablet is still pretty good. I don't know if you can tweak a tablet enough to watch anime in great quality though.
Kobo is better for reading manga.

Yes, but only if you have one with a 4:3 format
Reading on a 16:9 is absolutely SHITTT

Shit/Absolutely shit?
I need to know this t: OP

i take only the first answer

Maybe.

what?/You serious?

but if you use it also for watching anime?

You can only use it to read manga professionally.

>read manga professionally
that sounds like a neet excuse

Kindle paperwhite screen is like 20% smaller than standard manga page size, so good luck seeing anything on it.

Even if you get a proper sized e-ereader or tablet you'd want a stand to keep it at a comfortable position for it to be clearly better than reading on a desktop/laptop.

I don't read as much manga on it as I used to, but I watch anime on my tablet in bed almost every night. My case has a stand to prop it up with, so I don't have to hold it. You'll have to make sure it has a good processor if you want to watch 10-bit video though.

it is when im sitting in my recliner

Sorry for the generic question but I know nothing about tablets. What's the best budget tablet for just reading manga?

Surely an ipad mini would be a better choice? Like an ipad mini 2/3 from ebay.

The mini is incredibly portable, runs fast even with the latest ios and the perfect size for reading and manga.

If you're ever reading manga on a phone or tablet, I would highly recommend the app tachiyomi. That shit is so convenient

Convenient how?

How about Manga Storm?

Why not just get a different type of tablet then? Like legally? I use Manga Rock with no issues.

Using those shitty manga apps is the same thing as reading manga off of Mangafox. I use the app Perfect Viewer and download the files onto my tablet, making sure to get scans that aren't shit.

I've read dozens of volumes on an ipad mini 2, its perfectly fine but kind of slow for anything else.

Most apps have a batoto source so its no different than reading on web.

I can't really talk about convenience, but this is objectively the best streaming reader app.
>ad-free and RMS-friendly
>customizable: left-to-right/right-to-left reading
>can download chapters/single pages easily
>six online sources, supports Batoto login
>new chapter notifications, checks all sources simultanously
>fast, because of non-bloated code
you should just try it, you've got nothing to lose.

Its a shame none of these good open source readers are also on iOS, just for that I think people should consider an Android tablet for manga reading instead of an ipad.

>Like legally?
You need a license just like in most countries to read manga professionally.

In my country if somebody sees anime/manga on the screen of your pod/phone you will probably get beaten and laughed on even in any public space, so envy you so much.

Big brutal hairy man from Russia

Can you tell your friends to stop hacking our shit. I'm tired of hearing about it in the news everyday.

Some sort of a tablet is a must if your into comics in general.

Display is tiny and I can barely read, let alone appreciate detailed spreads on a paperwhite 3

Read in bed, in the comfort of your home

I don't like how that app reversed the page order.

t. guy who's read TLRD multiple times

I usually do that, but I don't mind those apps if the source is good and there aren't high quality scans out.

This seems like it'd be nice for reading on my phone at work since I don't usually keep manga on it.

I have a kobo aura, it's great for reading manga to the point I'm catching up to my backlog (though I keep adding series, so it would be more accurate to say my backlog isn't growing bigger). The screen is about the size of an actual manga page (19.5x13.8, most manga is either 18.2x12.8 or 21.0x14.8), you can read comfortably no matter if there's natural or artificial light, battery lasts a shitload and it recharges fast, it's pretty much all good. Only negative point is you need to install koreader on it to fully enjoy it.

>Applefag
What model is that? How much organs i have to sell to buy it? Can you read batoto scans? Can you watch anime at 1080p 10pi? Can i watch hentai too? Is it comfy to use it in the sofa? thanks

Is it hackable? Can people watch me while i am fapping? Is Apple safe? is there a model without the cam? is there any antivirus?

I have a kindle paperwhite, but I just use it for books. I should try reading some manga on it too.

Can you use emulators?
Can you play Steam Games with it. I heard the newest ipad is stronger then the MACPRO

I read manga on an e-reader the size of a kindle paperwhite before, the screen is a bit small but as long as you read manga with a simple artstyle or big panels you can read with no issue. In case you can't read a manga because it's too small this can usually be fixed by adjusting the content to width instead of height, though this is a bit annoying since this splits the page.

That's what you get for picking Apple.
