Jesus I liked this episode a lot, got to watch it just now.
Really felt the depression and loneliness of Tsukumizu in the ep, all of the metaphysical contemplating about life after death and such and the crippling feeling of loneliness, I just want to hug her, and Be the Titus to her Yuri.
Also liked the Texhnolyze-ish vibes that it sent with the visuals, symbols and the themes.
All in all a good episode, kinda gave me even more hope for the series.

Last minute of 4th episode made me laugh out loud, the only other SoL that made me experience this was my favourite NNB. Defenitely a sign of an enjoyable anime to watch.

I really don't understand why people can't accept that anime can be art? In fact, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou (thank you OP for starting a thread without that horrendous dub title) is one of the very few recent anime/manga that can be considered as art. It gives you a glimpse of what happening inside of the author's mind and tackles very profound and intemporal themes without bias.
If you think Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou isn't deep, you are a crossboarder, a shitposter, or a brainlet. Or all three at the same time.

New Kino doesn't even compare to old Kino. Half of the new episodes have felt rushed and have been more of highlights reels with little actual exposition. Not to mention how they have to cram action into every episode now.
