I think people confuse things. Snk's art it's not good because the author doesn't understand drawing 100% like most mangakas but he has a really good style which makes titans look even more fucked up which also helps convey terror in the story.
I'm sad he apologized for not being able to draw, I mean he doesn't need it. He gets the feelings across which is the most important part
