I think it's mostly because women view and solve problems through emotions, which proves disastrous in the long-run. There's a reason why women are pictured as soft while men are seen as strong.
Just look at every single destructive policy passed. Abortion, open borders, equality, these were movements led by women.

I have a source for a different but similar claim.
"The Manipulated Man"
The author says that girls by the age of 5 realize that they can get a man to do anything for them they want, so that means they don't feel the need to learn as much. Followed up with the claim that by age 12 all girls have decided that they will get a man to take care of them for the rest of their life, and thus don't need to learn anything need to survive, just stuff for fun.
Admittedly the book was written in the 70s but it information still hold up pretty well.
