So lads, the other day I got my new council tax bill for the year.
It’s going up by £3 a month roughly, which is a complete piss take if you ask me.
What I found truly shocking though, was towards the bottom there was a section breakin down how my council tax is being spent.
Almost three-fucking-quarters of my council tax for the year is going towards the ‘Suffolk County Council Non-Adult Social Care Charge’. £774.60 to be precise. This is bloody outrageous!
What the actual fuck does the ‘Non-Adult Social Care charge’ even pay for? Whatever it is, I personally am obviously seeing absolutely zero benefit from this, seeing as I receieve no benefits or gibs what so ever.
If you’re ‘Non-Adult’ and you need social care, then your parents can pay for the fucker. If they’re too poor or irresponsible to do so, then that ain’t my fucking problem m8.
Another thing, how is it at all fair that as the sole occupier of my property, I am only entitled to a 25% discount on my council tax bill, when a family of 4 in a property of the same band will only be expected to pay 25% more than I do? The poll tax system would have been much fairer than this bullshit setup we have today.
