Quick story: >MH17 - Boeing shot down over Ukraine in 2014 >In late 2014, a witness from Ukrainian air base from Dnepropetrovsk fled to Russia and said that on the day of the crash he saw Su-25 (don't remember the count) taking off with air-to-air missiles, returning to base without them, and the pilot(s) distraught talking among themselves that the plant was at the place, at the wrong time >Pilot's name was Voloshin >Ukraine denied Ukrainian aviation was used that day, as well as Voloshin >Witness passed lie detector test, but his identify was not unknown due to fear for his life and probably relatives' in Ukraine >In mid-2015, before 1 year anniversary of MH17 crash, Russia published his passport and revealed his identity (Agapov) >In 2016, in BBC doc., Voloshin was shown there and I think he yet again denied everything >Fast forward now, Voloshin got suicided I think to the chest with an unmarked gun (they say he was still alive when medics got to him)
While it's probably unlikely a normal Su-25 is capable of causing that damage to the cockpit, there is another one: Su-25KM Scorpion modified by Israel in Georgia (where Su-25 were produced) and it is probably compatible with Israeli Python 5 missile.
We all know that the intended target was Putin's plane an Israel was behind it.
Robert Jones
that the plane was at the wrong place, at the wrong time*
Levi Barnes
No, they knew well Putin wouldn't fly over Ukraine. Those pilot(s) on the other hand were probably misled.
They needed this provocation in order to form a consensus in EU regarding severe sanctions on Russian banks (imposed 10 days after the crash).
Aiden Brooks
Nope. Putin's plane and MH17 were on very close flight paths and Putin switched the transponder number or some shit with MH17. The Jews thought they were targetting Putin's plane but since that shit was spoofed they actually shot down the wrong plane.
Bentley Torres
is this the new JIDF strategy? Use Russian VPNs to blame Putin for shit Israel did? You people are degenerate.
Why would Ukraine use a ground attack aircraft to shoot down a plane? They must have more capable fighters. Even a refurbished Mig-21 is a more capable aircraft.
Gavin Sanchez
This The SAM explaination blaming the Russians hinged on the equipment being Russian in origin. Not that it was Russian military operated hardware. That it was made in Russia. Like every piece of equipment the Ukrainian forces use. Was such shitty "damning evidence".
Brandon Thomas
If he was American I would suspect murder, but given that he’s Ukrainian, he might actually have a conscience and suicide out of guilt is possible

Ukraine has 3 brigades of Mig-29. One brigade of heavy Su-27 and one separate squadron of Su-27. Yeah, using Su-25 is beyond retarded. A Su-27 with R-27ET missile could shoot boeing down from 50 miles
Chase Martin
It's simple math. You need a missile potent enough to destroy a large Boeing. Ideally, you want the missile capable of targeting cockpit. And even more ideally, you want its warhead to have shrapnel similar to that of Buk warhead. And of course, you want the plane to crash in rebel territory, not in Russia
I think none of the Soviet-made air-to-air missiles aim at the cockpit. Pilots would even be able to transmit some data or fly further.
William Richardson
The only "Soviet" plane theoretically compatible with foreign-made air-to-air missile like Python 5 is Su-25 Scorpion (modified by Israel in Georgia, where Su-25 were made).
Liam Bailey
There are only like 5 Su-25KM ever made and all of them are currently in Georgia, with half being broken down because our air force doesnt have money to maintain them and we stopped cooperation with Israel after 2008 war. Also we never had Python missiles, only R-73. As for Ukrainian AF, they dont have anything like Su-25KM and will never have. Now fuck off.
Ethan Reyes
>Ukrainian >die young
I don’t see the conspiracy here, Ivan.

OP is a Russian paid troll judging by his posts and level of being informed (not)

Soros, Nuland, Clinton. No fucking way it was shot down by anyone other than Ukraine.
Joshua Bell
You really sure it wasn't just some over zealous Ukrops with these?
Sad but true brat. I'm thinking this >Ages pass >No-one even cares anymore except him, other "Muh Russia" shit going on >Feels futile, yet he wants to make a mends >No options left really, blows his brains out Poor cunt.
He was forced out of air force (299th tactical aviation brigade) and worked in civil airport. Probably got depressed because of being bullied. His whole family was at home when he ahot himself

By the way, there is damage to the cockpit, the missile detonated near the cockpit. Both Russia and the west agree on this. I mean it is clear that a warhead detonated close to it. None of the the Soviet air-to-air missiles do this. And I don't think Soviet missiles even have the same type of shrapnel (small cubes), they can't explain that type of damage. That is why no other unmoded Soviet plane other than Su-25KM would do the trick.
I don't care how many you personally think Georgia made, had or has of them. We are talking about a provocation supported by the west, not only Ukraine. Money and logistics is not an issue. The fact is, Israel and Georgia are technically part of the west from geopolitical point of view.
>Also we never had Python missiles There was a parade in Georgia showing off Python missiles (in Spyder systems) or something. How about you fuck off with your ignorance?
Spyder has modified missiles with additional start booster for being used as land to air missile you fucking Russian troll idiot. Just fuck off already. Judging by your logic NASAMS is same as AA aim-120.
Your whoke (((theory))) ia retarded and your mother is a whore, +15 shekels

Wow the Putin shills are out in force. Its funny how people keep disappearing in a way convenient to the Kremlin. No, its a complete ((coincidence)). Keep shilling vodkaniggers, I'm sure you will convince the peasants.
Isaiah Long
The cockpit showed signs of 20mm chain gun straifs. Witnesses saw an SU25 straif it. All info on ceiling ability was changed online for the su25. witnesses said the bodies were half rotten and must have been from MH370.
Julian Young
>he killed himself because russia bullied him!
imagine being gullible enough to believe this, he shot down the airliner in his SU-25 and finally the guilt got to him. If you're a patriotic airforce pilot you don't fucking kill yourself because a foreign government is making shit up about you.

Oh, "we have Python missiles with boosters, but definitely not Python missiles for our Israeli-modified planes" >georgian intellectuals And just how daft can one has to be not to realize that it doesn't fucking matter whether Georgia had the missiles or not? They are made in Israel. Israel can give them to any ally. What matter is whether Su-25KM is compatible with the said Israeli missiles. Logic suggests it is.
This guy "disappearing" is exactly the opposite of convenient to the Kremlin. West says Buk shot down MH17. While the witness who served in Ukrainian air base who fled to Russia shortly after MH17 pointed at this pilot 3 years ago and said he saw the planes come back without air-to-air missiles.
This pilot might have known what exactly happened to MH17, the truth would have been uncomfortable for the west, and now he is dead.
Juan Thompson
Wasn't it shot down by SAMs?
Gavin Perry
Please write suicide note, or you will die with torture and also family comrade

That's according to the western legend that was voiced practically before the plane even stopped burning and which was "confirmed" by the Dutch Safety Board (Netherlands isn't exactly neutral).
Russia's Investigative Committee (?) voiced a priority version in mid 2015: foreign made air-to-air missile.
The maker of the Buk (Almaz-Antey) said that "if it was Buk, then it could have been only launched from such territory and the missile had to be of such type". I think this is Russia's way of not trying to push the rat (west) into a corner and leave it a safe exit (just like in Syria with Obama's red line and Syria getting rid of its chemical weapons instead of Lybia or Iraqi-style regime change). In other words, "we know that it was a provocation with an air-to-air missile by you, the west, but we can close ours eyes on this, as long as we both blame Ukraine for the disaster."
Gabriel Fisher
I meant to say: as long as we blame Ukrainian army and Ukrainian Buk for the disaster*
Because to the west, Buk is important, as US, the Dutch, etc., are already deep in the "it was Buk" bullshit.
Russia basically tells them that it will close its eyes on the true missile used as long as Ukraine will be blamed.
