>Suguru: Don't need it! >Madarai: Eh?! I'm just saying, as a precaution...! >Suguru: So stubborn. Do I have to spell it out for you, old man? Text: I'll be stronger if I don't have that puppet binding!
Sorry, that's the old copypasta text I use. This is a live translation.
Levi Ortiz
Text: ...hmph. You certainly are temperamental... Susuzumi. Text: When he's in a groove, no-one in Tsuzura Temple can match him- Text: Except for me. sfx: *wham*
Adrian Hernandez
Text: He's coming right into sword range! sfx: *swing* sfx: *fwoosh*

Thanks for the dump OP. That being said, fuck this fucking tournament arc.

This. As good as the art is, the fights are getting repetitive, and just like any tournament arc predictable because you know it's all about the last match involving the MC.
Anthony Ward
Tournament arcs are never good ideas.
Thomas Torres
Text: More than before! So fierce! Text: I'm not getting the chance to cut the Steelstrings ahead of time. sfx: *pow*x5 Text: Concentrate on evasion!! >Saki: Whoaaa, amazing! >Saki: Sunao keeps dodging the Black Steelstrings as she retreats! >Saki: All while she deflects inkstring after inkstring! Text: Only retreating? That's boring.
Brayden Green
I like this tournament arc but maybe it feels slow because of the monthly release and there was a hiatus, the fights usually last for 1 or 2 chapters but with that being 2 months for each fight when the characters fighting just got introduced makes it hard for me to even care when i just want to see sunao and kazuya. At least we get some good lewds and weapons.
Elijah Edwards
It's hard to believe that old guy is competent at fighting. He's definitely gonna use some puppet bidding on the other hand.
Joseph Evans
>Saki: Such terrific movement! sfx: *bam*x5 Text: But... Text: However... Text: If this continues, in a few moves- sfx: *loom* Text: Checkmate!!
Sebastian Price
>bad guy has a cool and unique power >good guy fights with >muh lightning speed katana
I wish this trope died

They're "fuck, I don't really know how to continue the story, let's buy time" ideas.

Thanks OP.

Pretty funny to talk about originality when the guy litterally plagiarizes Kanaka's nigga form.

Agreed. Tournament arcs usually are decently enough paced if read back to back. It's just that release schedules and delays oftentimes skew our perception of the actual pacing. I'm glad that Sunao finally gets to have her spot in the sunlight, especially when most of the others don't seem to think much of her, based on her past conduct. And Kazuya finally getting to curbstomp the old goat is going to be oh so satisfying. Not to mention that we got tons of granny between the matches, which I loved.
>Saki: What a blow!!! Susuzumi's Black Steelstrings were split in two, along with the platform!! sfx: *cheer* sfx: *gasp*x2 >Saki: A fearsome hidden technique from Sunao!!! Text: Amazing... she must have condensed together dozens of Air Slashes!! Text: Sunao... in such a short time... you've already changed completely...! Text: You *saved up* for that while pretending to be on the ropes...
I think, chances are he'll use the crystal ball girl both as a hostage ("I'll let her burn out, I dare ya!") and as a fight enhancer to predict Kazuya's immediate moves or somesuch.
On that note, if she really gets destroyed during the match, then I'm pretty convinced that Kazuya will learn the ability to fix broken tsukumogami in some way, based on his amasogi creation power, incidentally paving the way for a return of Kiriha.
It's not really calling when the chapter has already been posted before, just not with the translation.
Jose Turner
Do you record his drawing streams too?
Mason Perry
He really likes doing this muscle enhancement like it is the OP-est technique.
Daniel Turner
If someone he knows gets destroyed during the match he is gonna beat the old man half to death. I'd love to see that.
Ethan Taylor
Text: Enforced Weave!! >Suguru: That battle where *the god was slain* was a good reference... >Suguru: See? sfx: *swing* sfx: *bam*x3
Lucas Taylor
Is this the first part of the fight?
Carter Campbell
Makes more sense than the chain enhancement
Christopher Phillips
He says literally in this chapter that he's stronger than Susuzumi I guess he being assistant head priest / head priest isn't just for show.
Austin Brown
>Sunao: Ugh! Text: My blade's path is being pulled off!! Text: Sunao has lost to Enforced Weave twice already... Text: And now?! sfx: *fwoosh*
Chase Watson
Oh so it's really Kanaka's technique. Call about a loser flag when you are facing Sunao who wanted to defeat her.
William Evans
Chain enhancement is armor more than strength-enhancing.

Josiah Peterson
sfx: *cheer* sfx: *bam*x6 >Saki: Whoaaaaa! >Kyouka: It's just string, why is it blocking a sword?! >Kazuya: No! Text: It's not blocking. Text: He's correctly reading the blade's path...
Jackson Wood
Should just spam mini getsuga tenshou.
William Wilson
Text: And parrying it! sfx: *clang* >Suguru: That's right. >Suguru: No matter how much I strengthen this tsukumogami, it's still a carpenter's tool. >Suguru: If a bladed tsukumogami hits it, I can't stop it being split in two. >Suguru: Therefore!
The way the panels slowly fade away makes my dick diamonds.
Jacob Jackson
sfx: *bam*x6 Text: Well done, Sunao! Every one of your swings has more than enough power to kill me ten times over!! Text: It's just like back then! Text: But- Text: You're a bit too direct. sfx: *pow*
>Sunao: Agh...!!! sfx: *crack*x3 >Saki: Now here's the real blow!!! In one shot, the substitute doll is on the verge of destruction!! sfx: *whoosh* sfx: *fwoosh*x2 >Saki: She has no choice but to gain some distance! Text: Without that instant reaction of jumping backwards it would've been over! sfx: *thud* Text: Not yet. Text: Not yet. Text: Not yet!!
Jayden Perry
I am enjoying this thread. The OP is a cool guy.

Muscle weave seems to make its users absolute madmen.
Text: Essentially- Text: When an owner loses control of their body to their tsukumogami Text: There is a phenomenon where their abilities are greatly increased and they go mad for battle.
