>Welsh-Norman What in God's name is that? The Normans left very little genetic impact on the British Isles. Much like the Romans and Romano-British, 1 in a 1000 doesn't make much different. And certainly, Wales was not the hotbed of where Normans did occupy. France was warmer, they viewed England as lesser peoples.

How does wales accomplish it's nationalist ambitions of becoming independent? Is plaid cymru the party to do it?
Oliver Carter
We don't. Anyone claiming to advocate an independent Wales is a Marxist stooge, hell-bent on fracturing the Kingdom and dividing us up for Islamic-globalist domination.
The only true claim for an independent Wales would be in a scenario where the hordes of "English" Muslims finally overthrow their local and regional authorities, forcing us into Welsh Independence.
Welsh independence isn't in the interest of the average Welsh citizen, at least not right now. Most have a strong sense of nationalism but I couldn't see them rallying for an independent country. Maybe if Scotland succeed, but we'll have to see.
do the students avoid the shithole that is Swansea city centre? Is the student nightlife decent there? Wind street is an absolute disaster of a night out, fake tanned blokes in child size white t shirts checking their biceps when they dance is what you get in wind street.
Thomas Smith
Most students live on the bay or down the mumbles - which couldn't be comfier. It's pretty tragic on wind street but could if you have a lot of built up steam
Would Gruffydd ap Llywelyn be considered a Brian BorĂº like figure in Wales? I was reading the wiki of the King of Wales and yous seemed much like Ireland, while disunited politically you were united culturally.
