>Hate
Funny way to spell adored

to be fair his VA is insanely bad and the anime's pacing has been poor

I don't think anyone really hates it. The VA screaming brought a lot of hate but that was just hivemind at work.

I hate it

I dropped this piece of dogshit after the first episode. Literally worse than SAO.

Hivemind

Same here.
>Literally worse than SAO.
Dumb comparison though. To me it looked like an experiment on how to remake Naruto, except worse.

Only Boku no picofags hate it

>He can stomach the screaming, the snail’s pace, and the 51 episodes of guaranteed quality
I’m impressed

To be fair it doesn't feel right to put the blame on his VA when this is exactly how the character is portrayed in the manga

manga is not so bad, I've heard.

BC is the new FT, except even less watched/read so far.
A series has to at least be widely watched to be truly widely hated, and BC is already known to be bad enough that most people have just steered clear and have no reason to personally dislike it.

dropped after ep1, so i don't care enough to hate

Underaged faggot.

Take away VA of Asta and double the pacing.

Guarantee godamntee the show would be a recieved magnitudes better. The annoying voice acting is literally the catalyst for shitposting and harsh critique. You think absolute crap like Fairy Tail would be destroyed this badly.

I pity the vocal cords of his voice actor.

Nah, the delivery is horrible as well.

I am not. We all have to suffer so it is only fair he will get throat cancer and die.

Do the nips hate it too?

I heard the manga is selling well, don't know about the anime tho

I don't.
Hopefully he gets sacked and never gets a job in the business again.

Its outselling Hero Academia which I thought was doing well.

>Take away VA of Asta and double the pacing.
I'm tired of retard protagonists with demons powering them.
Make Asta smart enough to not get into magic battles when he knows he has no magic whatsoever.
Make his character at least somewhat reflective of the exceptional nature of his magiclessness. He can still be an optimistic go-getter, but not just a generic "guts and yelling will solve everything" retard.
Drop the retarded symbolism of the 4/5 leaf clover. The fuck is that?

Before these problems aren't fixed, I don't care what you change.

FT and BC are around the same level of badness, but FT's first episode wasn't nearly as atrocious as BC's first episode

I hated it before the anime aired.
Everything that happens in the manga either comes down to
A. Everyone sucking Asta's dick for "useless" while the pointless side characters stand and watch him
or
B. Everyone sucking Yuno's dick for being over powered while the even more pointless side characters stand and watch

You're life has to be some otherworldly kind of sad if you are able to get your escapism off to this series.

Why would you blatantly lie on the internet when anyone can just look it up in less than 5 seconds and know you're full of shit?

In the manga the character was midly annoying, the anime is phisically painful to watch.

Also, its so fucking slow. I mean, I know battle anime of long running series are slow by nature but this goes beyond that. This is One Piece anime levels of slow which would be understandable if it was already at episode 100 or 200, but not, is not even 6 episodes and barely made intro chapter 3 of the manga or something like that.

This is literally the most generic battle shonen ever created

Proof?

FT had the advantage of tits and a very vanilla fantasy setting.
BC is just weird.

>The annoying voice acting is literally the catalyst for shitposting and harsh critique.
People hated the fuck out of this series before it got an anime, if the voice wasn't annoying they'd just complain about something else

Asta’s voice isn’t as annoying in the manga

Midorya crying is almost annoying as Asta yelling tho

Not sure, I haven't even given enough of a shit to watch it

Its the modern Naruto
>annoying protagonist with no powers who later turns out to be better than everyone
>edgy overpowered friend/rival with a tough emotionless exterior but with a heart of gold
>setting that is supposed to be pre-modern yet somehow has modern amenities
>selling extremely well, will likely influence the anime taste of the latest generation of underage faggots
and in 20 years, some other generic shounen series will come along, and the cycle will repeat eternal.

Hiro Mashima could be the god of porn if he wanted

FT at least was full on fantasy from the start
While Naruto had magic-ninja-military super secret villages
BC is simply a shoddy mix and match between both
It even has two Kings

I just wanted a shonen series where a underdog MC doesn't gain some kind of special snowflake power and learn to deal with his handicappedness to win his fights

why do people still make anime like this?

arent people sick and tired of the generic art style and loud, childish mc's by now?

There's nothing out there that fits the description as far as I know.
It's kind of antithetical to the shonen forumla.

New children are born every day you retard

Just go with All Rounder Meguru or something.

Is it the VA's fault, the sound director or the source material that Asta can't stop yelling?

Yes

Kenichi?

Japan's birth rate is low as heck tho

Should polygamy be legalized to encourage breeding?

I don't think it has anything to do with the formula.
For all its faults Naruto did have something that grabbed the attention at the start.
BC is just plain awful, on top of being uninspired.

Not in japan

Japan ain't importing kebabs

One of the few shows I dropped at episode 1

Make it first 10 minutes

But so many LNs have harem ends.

Probably
It's better dubbed

Didn't Naruto a least do strategy well?

Hero Academia > black clover

It did all the way up to the Chuunin exams and then it went down hill

Negima > Both

I think the comparison between BNHA and BC is strange.
Both copy a massive amount of shonen tropes, but BNHA changes them around just enough so that it's still interesting to watch them play out.
I don't want to take the piss out of BC because it feels like beating a mentally challenged horse.

It's basically Stockholm syndrome. People hate it yet love it. Beside, it's only 6 episodes compared to seasons after seasons of SAO.

I prefer his voice in the manga.

It has been top 4 in the TOC for the past 2 months. Nips dont really have the hate boner for it.

No, dragon ball super and boruto are. All the ingredients to be successful mainstream shit with nothing of any redeeming quality or substance

>Take away VA of Asta and double the pacing.
It's basically the manga. The pacing in the manga is super sonic fast. Asta's VA is just really bad because Magna's screaming wasnt that awful to me.

>You're life has to be some otherworldly kind of sad if you are able to get your escapism off to this series.

Are you that Batman user in the MHA threads again?

Fuck all the haters, I just want my usual shounen shit with action, friendship, effort, victory, the good guys win and everyone is happy, you just don't understand you fucking haters.

You're misinterpreting a stat that says the average of a few weeks when BNHA's author took a week off. BNHA kills it in volume sells

You mean this?

I'd dig that, but BC feels so damn lazy it's like watching a bad Naruto fanfic animated.

As someone who read Toriko I feel like I should start reading this series just to show solidarity with another series that's probably going to get fucked over by SJ pushing it too hard and too early.

You've heard wrong.

Black Clover is just your generic shounen, nothing more, nothing less. Pierrot ruins the pacing with weird padding though.
Still if you look at it as a childrens manga aimed at an even younger audience than its competition, it's not that bad. Anyone who read or watched a handful of shounen knows what's gonna happen next, but at least the characters are great. Specifically Yami and his interactions.

Nice one.

The manga is fun. However, I feel people should read it the latest chapter to form their own opinion.

i don't think people hate it, it just that i don't know how some one can like it
i just don't give a shite about trashy anime, whatched 2 eps and droped, anything beyond that is shitposting

it survived based on WSJ readers liking it - what's funny of course is thinking back the mangaka can't have been that confident in it because there's a specific point where it starts rushing an ending to the series (as in they introduce essentially what is set up as a "final boss") only for I don't know what, an editor maybe, to interject and tell him to cool his heels, and the next chapter asta fucking one hits him like a chump, the "final boss" is retconned as unimportant and the entire series suddenly jumps in quality as the black bulls are introduced, we meet the wizard king etc...

it's not "slow", this is just the bit of the series where nothing happens.

To properly make Black Clover good you'd need to start sometime around the Licht fight but nothing would make sense if you did that because Asta's gained two anti-magic swords and a demon mode by that point in the story. It'd be like starting Naruto during the chasing of Sasuke right before the time skip "what's wrong with his eye? What's a rasengan? Where's that black stuff on his body coming from? Why has he got a fox in his soul? Why are they fighting? why is he running? Why's this guy got a pot of sand on his back? Why's she got a bad haircut?"

With all due respect, you are wrong.

This show is torturous. I am going to try it again when it is dubbed, but I doubt it'll be any better considering the plot is as retarded as Asta's voice.

People like it after episode 4. Speaking from a manga reader.

The dub is surprisingly good. Funimation has 4 episodes i believe.

myanimelist.net/news/52966237
>*8. *,274,338 Boku no Hero Academia Vol.16
>12. *,194,163 Black Clover Vol.13
>80K gap

It's selling better but I wouldn't say it's killing it.

Vol 13 was sold around the time the anime began compared to Hero who has had the anime boost for almost a year. I don't think its a fair comparison between these two series, especially when BC has a very slow start. People are only walming up to BC for at best two weeks.

Comparatively BNHA sold more when the first anime came out.
But that doesn't mean much when it comes to staying power.
More successful manga have been dropped because of disinterest.

World Trigger

I watched the first episode of this and the animation was worse than DBS at it's lowest point, it was basically a slideshow

The digital sales which make up 50%+ aren't included so we don't how big BC's boost is.
Even one piece lost over a million in physical sales.

BNHA has a pretty decent anime made by Bones, which spoke of the manga boost.

Only autistic imbeciles think this way. You need help.

Did you even read my post.
>Comparatively BNHA sold more when the first anime came out.
There.
Twice should do it.

It's not mainstream to hate shit

Done manga in about 2 days, its kinda fine. But, the thing is - complete lack of stakes, you know? Yadda yadda, whatever goes on everyone is fine and no one in any actual danger

...

The dislike is not new.

SAO had a solid first episode that made people believe that it could actually have any quality, just because of that I think SAO deserves more hate

It's pretty fucking bad.

Dropped the manga after the first chapter. Black Clover is the gay test tube baby of Naruto and Fairy Tail.

Noelle is the only reason to not drop this.

>thinking people unironically hate Black clover

Looking forward to see what the Royal guard does this week and an entire episode of Noelle- should be rad all around.

I think of Black Clover as a shounen protagonist from the slums, everyone hates it, and he got accepted in the worst anime squad "Studio Clown (Pierrot)".
Boku no Hero Academia is a royal, everyone loves it, got accepted in the best anime squad "Studio Bones"
