The media are full of “evil” people who are racist whites with fanatical Christian beliefs and conservative/nationalistic ideals. The “good” people are the feminists, minorities and various progressives.
Also, the game has micro-transactions. As if we needed another reason to tell Ubisoft to fuck off. (Btw, the petition on change.org to change the game is a troll, obviously.)

It feels like those people are incapable of enjoying escapism without certain utopianism.
