The thing about Hawking is that unless you study theoretical physics, there is no real reason why you should be impressed or even care about him. If you don't study theoretical physics I doubt you understand what his contribution even is. Reddit cunts like to look him up on Wikipedia and name drop Hawking Radiation, but none of them know what it even is.
Hawking is known for one thing and one thing only, for being a cripple. Hundreds of scientists have died in the past few years who have not only done great things, but done things that people can understand.
