Isn't UI Goku basically Mystic Goku who unlocked his own hidden power? Guess that's why Gohan can even become more powerful than he is right now. Because it wasnt and it was never described to be incompatible with SSJ. It was a power boost that couldve been stacked with a lot of things but Goku never bothered to utilize it nir even handwave it with something like the Spirit Bomb needing the user to be calm and pure which the form dillutes
